The two men, came, and we went around the property and I told them what I thought they should do to each section of the grounds. They were interested in my plantings, as I have many natives in my yard, which were new to them. They worked diligently for one full afternoon and also the next morning. Work was amazing! Shrubs restored to good shape and health. I am very pleased with the work they did on my plants and property.

J&J did an outstanding in replacing the flagstones on our front stoop, putting in a replacement flagstone walkway, and replacing our hideous landscape retaining wall. They asked all the right questions when they came out for an estimate, made good recommendations that two other companies didn't even think to note. Plus, their estimate was quite a bit lower than another well reviewed Angie's List company. It's night and day difference between the old and new, would highly recommend!

After a minor disagreement in January regarding use of a winter discount coupon which we settled in my favor, the J & J crew made it out to my house in early March and did a splendid job installing my new lawn and brick I left for them to be used as a hardscape liner between the lawn and the fence. I now have a beautiful new lawn for which I'm extremely pleased. I only wish J & J Landscaping had a page on its website dedicated to providing information on caring for a brand-new lawn, when and how much to water it, etc. I had to be proactive get the information I needed, but if I hadn't of asked, the information wasn't readily available.

Work was done on time and very professionally. They were consistently on time. I spoke with 3 companies total and James was always the quickest. He came right out for the estimate, answered emails quickly and scheduled the work easily. The cold weather and snow could have caused major delays but he made it work for us.

Everything went very well. The crew is punctual and polite.

Fantastic ! I called J & J based on reviews on Angie's List. They were responsive and I met with Donnell to get a bid for a patio at a townhouse. He worked with me and my budget, and what a exceptional job he and his team executed.

All went beautifully. Their crew showed up on time. The supervisor showed up each day (it was a 2 day job). Our yard, flowerbeds, and small trees look manicured. We have switched to J &J for our weekly lawn mowing for 2018 as have 4 of our neighbors on our cul-de-sac. I certainly recommend calling them for an estimate. You will not be disappointed.

Mostly okay. The crew lead was patient and listened to what I needed done. I did have to have his crew return to take care of a part of the job that was left undone. They took care of it promptly.

Donnell and his crew were terrific. Very professional, prompt, on time with follow up. They definitely knew what they were doing. We had received several quotes from different providers. Based on comparisons, we felt their quote was a fair one. After the patio was complete (in four days), there were a couple of spots missed with the filler between the slates. I emailed and Donnell had someone out within a day.

I've got a lawn service. J & J lawn service. I've only had them for a couple weeks. They've done good work so far.. It's a little early to judge. I don't have much data to go on.

Excellent work! I'm very pleased with all aspects of customer care from the office manager, job estimator and work crew.

The representative I spoke to at the office were very professional. The gentleman who visited my home to evaluate my front and backyard was on time and very courteous. The only thing was I had to wait about a month for the work crew to show up, but that was my fault because I ordered the service late and during the busiest part of the spring season. I will definitely use these guys again

High quality work and great design. Luis pays great attention to detail, which probably means your project will take a bit longer than estimated. Worth the wait.

We are fairly new customers of J and J Landscape Management. Thus far, they have provided one season of fall clean-up services (two visits) and just completed our Spring clean-up (earlier than anticipated, thank you). We are more than pleased with the results. It has been our pleasure working with Mr. Donnell Jones throughout this process; from the initial home visit, the proposal process (including last minute changes we requested), and scheduling of events, Mr. Jones has always been courteous, professional and very responsive. Ms. Jill Boyarko, Account Representative, has also been wonderful to work with. The teams that arrived on site were all punctual, professional and left our yard looking fabulous! Outstanding customer service is so hard to come by these days. This team has set the bar. We are definitely looking forward to working with them again in the near future. Jeff's crew did another great job. The price was reasonable, the crew was on time, very professional and friendly. After finishing, the crew did a very nice cleaned up job. i would use Jeff's services again and would recommend his services to friends.

Donnell is great and understands what needs to be done. I particularly like that Donnell keeps me informed of when & what has been taken care of. It has been a pleasure to work with J&J and would certainly consider using them for my home in Reston.

Donnell (landscaper), Luis (hardscape), and Jill (front office) are all very professional, easy to work with, understood what I wanted and delivered exactly what I wanted without breaking the bank. Luis will be back in the Spring to help me with some finishing touches to the hardscaping (this was my decision due to budget constraints). I have hired Donnell to continue with the maintenance (plant and tree trimming, weed removal and mulching as necessary as my yards have no grass) and look forward to working with him again.

We are new homeowners and needed help clearing leaves and fall debris from our property. Donnell Jones came out and walked the grounds with me. He was great to talk to, and we discussed both the work needed this fall, and possible spring work. I received his proposals for the fall work the next morning, the prices were fair ones, and we signed the contract. I did not get a schedule for when the crew was coming out. This wasn't really a problem, it was more like magic to come home and find that our leaves had been cleared! The crews did an excellent job. They made two visits, and the second visit in late December, came just in time for us to show off our new house to guests coming to a family party! I plan on hiring them to do my lawn work in the spring.

Everything was done exactly as promised - promptly, professionally, and beautifully. The cost was 1/3 less than another estimate.

I called the company a few times and left messages. I feel its pretty unprofessional to not obtain a response and call-back!

I was very pleased working with J&J. Donnell Jones initially met me at my house to take a look and talk about what I wanted. He arrived right on time, listened carefully, and had some useful feedback on what I was trying to get done. Once I signed the contract, the work was scheduled within a couple weeks and the crew arrived right when they said they would. After they finished, I noticed that one of the beds was laid out a little differently than I had expected and I was worried about water pooling near it. I contacted Donnell, and he was very agreeable and sent a crew out the next business day. They promptly reworked the bed to make it what I was expecting. The whole job was very well done with good attention to detail. Would hire them again.

The J&J team of three did an excellent job. They were very punctual, completed the work within the estimated number of days and removed all debris. The quality of the sod they laid and new azalea bushes they planted was very good.

It didn't go well. They helped me plant two pine trees but they are all dead. I didn't tell them the trees had died because trees don't die immediately. They died later like in a month or two. I wasn't happy but I can not blame them because they just planted the trees as I told them to do. They did what I asked them to do but the quality wasn't that good. After that I didn't contact them. The cost was reasonable. I didn't ask them any questions and so, responsiveness was not applicable. They were on time. I wouldn't use them again in future.

They were professional and efficiently cleaned up my front and backyard which needed considerable clean up do to over growth and weeds.

ok work; sometimes will not move children's toys off lawn (one or two random items). Price is OK for area; not sure if going to continue to use or switch for annual lawn maintenance.
