They were fabulous from the moment I called till finished. Andres is very responsive, answered all my questions clearly and followed up promptly. I originally called them late fall, but by the time I decided to proceed, the weather had gotten too cold. We agreed they would call in the spring, which they did. There was obvious wood rot which they replaced and it looks great! Every day they came they were neat, friendly and cleaned up each day. They even put up with my crazy dogs! I would definitely use them again!

Andres contacted me right away, visited the house to measure the deck, and agreed the deal would cover the cost of the deck work. His workman arrived right on time to clean the deck and wash the house, and did a great job. It took about a week for the weather to cooperate enough to get the team back for the staining, but we kept in touch to get it scheduled. The staining team was very professional and a great job. I would definitely recommend Homms for future business.

Andres and his team were exceptional! Andres provided an in-home consultation and was extremely thorough in his evaluation. He provided many recommendations, took accurate measurements and provided a cost estimate well in line with our expectations. His team arrived on time and worked diligently throughout the project. Andres made several appearances on site to ensure our expectations were met and we were more than happy with the quality of work that was done. The crew working on site were spectacular and were quick to ask questions should any issue arise. We couldn't be happier with the quality of work, level of service, and price point.

Andres and his painting crew were personable and professional throughout this process. Andres responded quickly to emails and phone calls to setup an estimate. His written estimate was provided quickly. The crews showed up on time and worked hard throughout the day. They covered and moved all furniture and there was no paint spray left anywhere. My son's room was painted black and red on alternating walls and it is simply amazing. Everyone loves this paint job. In my basement, I got navy blue on the bottom and metallic gold on the top. The Ralph Lauren metallic paint is hard to work with and required three coats. Andres worked with me to discuss the additional requirements and cost due to my paint selection. Homm prefers to use Sherwin Williams paint, but SW can color match many other swatches and major brands. I am extremely satisfied with this job and I would definitely call Homm again for my next home painting project.

It turned out quite well. Everything happened on schedule. They got the job done in 3 days. The painters were quite professional. The cleanup was first class.

The got the job done in about 3 days. They sent 6 guys out the first 2 days and just 2 guys out the last day. The cleanup was perfect.

Everything was great. They were very prompt to respond to me when I called to schedule and estimate. The owner came out the next day to do the estimate. Their price was not the cheapest, but I felt good that they contacted me in time, and they seemed to know what they were doing. They finished very quickly and everything was good. They were neat, and they didn’t get paint everywhere. The owner came back when they were finished to make sure that I was satisfied with everything. The owner made the extra effort to get the paint samples that had previously been destroyed in the mail from me. The paint they recommended was really good and cleans off well.

I was very happy with Homm. In the past I made the mistake of going with another company (who was slightly cheaper) and had a horrible experience. Paint splatter was everywhere. Homm was responsive to my request for an estimate and a date of service was easily settled on. The workers were polite and the work site was kept very clean. The paint job itself was meticulous and my walls, ceilings and crown molding have never looked better. I will definitely use Homm again for all my future painting projects.

Homm did a fantastic job. They were prompt, their estimate was accurate, and they were far, far cheaper than the other four estimates we had received. Work was completed well within the time frame given and the work was exceptional. Our fence is on the corner of a very busy street with street parking. I was very nervous that paint could get on the cars or the new landscaping that we had just put in. Homm pulled it off without a hitch. Communication was also very good. Andres was readily reachable by phone and made several stops to check on the ongoing work.

Everything went smoothly. All prep-work, priming, and painting was completed in a day. The workers were courteous and professional. No problems.

There were two workers assigned to our work. We had our deck and two sets of outside stairs power wash cleaned and a stain/waterproofer applied. They arrived on time, were very courteous, and cleaned up all materials. It took two days to complete the job, and there was follow-up by the supervisor of the crew to see if all went as planned. We were very pleased with the results, and would use them again.

Outstanding job. They covered to protect all areas with drop cloths. Left the job site clean at the end of each day. The crew were true gentlemen and took pride in their work. I would highly recommend this company.

The work was done very professionally. The team came in and out in, basically, one day. I did need to call them back because they forgot to paint one small accent area after it was primed. Although I give this company an A, they did get paint on a piece of furniture, but luckily it was water-based paint, so I simply wiped it off with a cloth and warm water. Andres is great to work with and I'd definitely use this company again.

The company was very professional. They responded quickly, gave an easy to understand estimate, and then performed the work when they said they would. Painting is not impossible, but good painters do make a difference and Homm did a good job. They painted everything quickly, limiting the impact on our home.

Andres Matheu called me back the day I left a message regarding painting my townhouse. I had a deadline form the HOA for the community. He said he would try to meet the deadline but then called me back to change the start date due to the fact that he had gotten behind. The start date was only a week beyond the deadline which was totally acceptable. The company did an excellent job of painting, cleaning up after themselves, arriving at the expected time. They chose the correct paint colors required by my HOA which is not always the case with others I have used in the past. They also did minor repairs to my deck, pressure washed it and re-stained it. I am very satisfied with their work and will recommend them to others and use them in the future, if needed.

He was very professional and he was better but their quote was just higher than others. They were expensive which why I didn't hire them.

The first day, only one painter (of two that we were expecting) showed up and was 90 minutes late. Initially, he seemed to us as physically incapable to do the job because of considerable overweight for height (that proved not to be the case.) The painter left after approximately two hours because he didn't have a ladder high enough to reach the top of the walls. The owner of the company asked him to return but very little work was was done that day. The second and third days, the main painter showed up punctually but with a different assistant each day. They borrowed a pail and a small ladder (forgot to bring their own?); they had to be reminded to wear shoe protectors or remove their shoes almost each time they entered the house (it was raining and we have new carpets!); put a sign advertising the company on the front yard without asking for our permission; didn't remove a cobweb while painting because that was not in the contract. On the third day, they left in a rush without cleaning or returning the borrowed items to the garage. I called them back and they removed their empty water bottles, cleaned as well as they could (they didn't have a broom or a vacuum cleaner) put a book shelf in the right position and returned the ladder and pail to the garage. In summary, there were no major problems; only a disappointing performance. On the positive side, the painting job was satisfactory; the painters were polite; the owner allowed them to help me move two beds to the garage (I'm 69 years old), the contract was well prepared , the price was right, and the owner was very professional and helpful (he later apologized for the problems that we experienced.) Our review is not a complaint and our experience might be unique, but we hope that it will be useful to improve the services of this company.

I was relocating to NoVA from Manhattan and I signed up for Angie's List to find painters for my new construction townhouse in Vienna, to paint the complete interior. When I called Homm, someone picked up right away, and within 2 days, I had a full detailed estimate emailed to me. The price was reasonable, and I was pleased to see they had really taken detailed measurements to ensure the estimate was correct and there would be no surprises when the bill was due. Also, I emailed Homm the paint colors and they handled getting the paint no problem--- I enjoyed it being so hassle free. On the day of the job, three well-mannered gentleman showed up and immediately got to work. It was supposed to be a two day job, but on the first day, I was informed it would take an extra 1/2 day. I was very pleased that they told me the first morning, so I could make other arrangements to allow for this extra 1/2 day. And I was also pleased that they felt comfortable asking for more time up front in order to do the job right. Throughout the job, the painters were respectful of our space, and we felt comfortable leaving them at the house unsupervised while we went to do local errands. We'd come home and find them all working hard (no fooling around) and singing. I also liked that Andres, who ran the business part of Homm, stopped by each day to ensure work was on schedule and that we were happy. A few days after the job was finished, I did notice some minor touchups that were needed, and some paint on the carpet, and Homm immediately responded to my email and are coming this week to finish it off. Talk about customer service! I wish all contractors made me feel so comfortable, were so upfront, and provided such a high quality work. I already recommended Homm to my father in law, and would feel comfortable recommending to others.

Andres, the owner, was prompt for our estimate meeting. He was professional and very honest. He told me that only the walls and the trim only needed to be washed. His crew showed up the next day and were very considerate of all the furnishings in the house. They finished up the next day and I couldn't have been happier with the work. What surprised me was that, in the past I have used contractors who wanted payment immediately at the end of the job. Andres would not take payment until he knew I was satisfied with the work. I highly recommend Homm for anyone looking for someone to paint the interior of their home.

Homm is a very professional business with amazing detail in estimation and accuracy. The owner has the estimation down to a science. Price was not the lowest, but very close to it, but it was his attention to detail in the estimate that won me over. The contract said exactly what was going to get done, and it was in writing so it protected me from any misunderstandings. It took them awhile to schedule me in, so that's probably a strong indication they were booked up because of the great service and quality. The finished the entire project in 1 day, while other's proposed 2 or 3 days. They finished 2 coats of paint in about 6 hours on a 3 story townhouse. The results were excellent. The staff was all friendly and did not make any mess. I would recommend them for all paint matters.

There were still paint on the door handles, they were kind of sloppy there was one part of the house I thought they didn't paint, but they said they did it was a very small part. On the Pro side it rained a few days when they were suppose to come out and do the work and they didn't come which was good because of the rain. When they did come I felt like they were rushed and didn't take their time.
