Excellent service from Andres and crew. They finished all work in one day. They were courteous, timely and professional and used quality paints. Andres was very clear and the different types of finishes and recommendations. I would hire them again for my next project.

They came estimated it. We had a difficult time uncompromising which rooms to paint, so we just didn't end up using the deal.

From the initial estimate to the actual work performed through to the final paperwork and payment, we appreciated the high level of professionalism and quality we received from Homm. Our first contact was with Andres Matheu, who provided the initial estimate, and who was very clear about details, including different types of paint we might use, methods they would use to address existing mildew and wood rot, and procedures that might be necessary for lead abatement (house was built in 1920, and exterior tests were all positive). Homm was neither the lowest nor the highest bid we received, but we felt they were the most thorough in anticipating the needs of the job, and very up-front about safety and certifications needed. We anticipated there might be delays due to weather, and so the few we had weren't an issue for us (we had an experience with a different company some years ago that was rushed through bad weather, so we were more interested in having it done right). The Homm crew was very professional and thorough, and we received an update each workday from Andres summarizing the progress and keeping us abreast of the expected time for completion where weather was a factor. We would readily hire Homm again, and would recommend to others. We have received numerous compliments on how the house looks. Our final bill came in below the original estimate. Overall, it is a very high quality job, done for a reasonable price and the company was very pleasant to work with throughout the job.

There was a weather delay in the job immediately preceeding mine so I was delayed a week. They were always on time, professional and very neat. The installation of the crown molding was excellent. I purchased it and had it delivered to my home waiting for them. Andres gave me an accurate estimate of what I needed to order and in fact, I had enough left over to do another bedroom which I will have them do on another job. The crew was always very careful and respectful of my furnishings and covered everything with new, clean plastic and used tarps on the wood floors. I moved all of my fragile items and art work to two bedrooms which were not included in this job in order to facilitate a clearer work area for them. You can't escape the dust from sanding which does drift everywhere, but I was already planning on doing a thorough deep cleaning when they finished. The crew was neat, clean and always cheerful and polite. They worked all day and only took a lunch break. Their attention to detail on the trim work was wonderful and all the walls and ceilings look lovely. I found no sloppy paint drips anywhere. I'm extremely pleased with the outcome and will definitely have them return to complete two bedrooms with crown molding and fresh paint. Worth the price which I felt was very reasonable as it included all paint and labor. The job was completed in three days total. I highly recommend this company for a quality job. They are worth the money.

Andres rearranged his schedule to accommodate our need for the work to be done sooner than he first anticipated. Andres and his team are very professional, punctual and cleaned up daily. Their attention to detail is of note. The one disappointment was the metal top of our bay window. The material may not have lent itself to a fresh coat(s) of paint. But otherwise they did work that went beyond the scope of the job, including taking down our gutters, basketball hoop and managed to remove the vines and mask the network of lines that had embedded themselves into our brick.

Homm was very professional and provided a competitive proposal. Ultimately, we decided to go with another company who had done some work for us in the past.

The service went fine. I believe I was charged additional fees for what I needed done. There was a lot of prep work that needed done. I had them paint a small bathroom. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

Andres is a pleasure to work with......very accommodating, professional and responsive. He arrived on time for his estimate, which was provided promptly and with everything detailed. He uses good quality paints (Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams), you decide, supply the paint numbers and that's it. His crew arrived on time and were very nice, conscientious and worked quickly with great results. I recently had my kitchen painted (not by Homm) and wished I had. I keep finding places in the kitchen that are bad, but have not found one with Homm, who did a larger job in the same time frame (granted with one other person, but they prepped). I was very pleased and will use them again!

From the initial consultation with Andres to schedule a time for an estimate, the punctuality of each appointment, the accuracy of the provided estimate, professionalism/punctuality of the workers, and the ownership in completing the job which included waiting for a few replacement window shutters to arrive (which were delayed) the entire process was very pleasant. Andres wanted the job done right and to our satisfaction. That was clear from the beginning. The quality of the work was very good and I am a strong believer that you get what you pay for. So be careful with your selection process as taking the cheapest will generally lead to a lot of headaches. I will definitely recommend Homm to other friends and keep them in mind for future painting work.

The work and quality went well. The actual painting took a little longer than I expected, but it's a testament to the effort and quality that went into doing the job right. I certainly appreciate that. The price was very reasonable compared to another area vendor who wanted twice as much for the same job. I would use them again.

This is a rental property, and we are not local owners. We have a tenant managing the property for us. I spoke with Andres and he was able to contact and coordinate with the tenant to look at the space. He was prompt and thorough with his estimate. The estimate and the contact was extremely professional. He was able to get the work done quickly, avoiding any excess charges. He was patient with us regarding payment, seeing as we are not local, we wanted to make sure that the tenant manager had a chance to inspect quality and send us pictures before payment was sent. Would definitely use him again.

Andres showed up on time to provide an estimate for painting three bedrooms. Shortly thereafter we schedule his two man crew to start the one day job. These guys were great! The crew arrived on time, completed work with no fuss or intrusion. They moved furniture to complete the work. Unlike my paint jobs they didn't leave a mess and all clean up was no stress on my part. The paint used was of good quality, but due to the vibrant colors a couple rooms took more than the predetermined two coats. The third coat ran an additional $150 more than estimated. Would I use Homm's painters again? Certainly! Would I recommend them? Without hesitation.

Andres followed up promptly after we purchased this service as an Angie's List "Big Deal". He came out to the house to look our deck over, arrived exactly on time and was very professional and courteous. He explained the process, the materials that would be used and the estimated timing involved. Shortly after the visit, Andres called to let us know the work would take place at the end of June and he would get in touch with the specific day. As promised, Andres notified us of the schedule, the pressure washing came first and the person who did it put a lot of time in on it, we were amazed how clean the deck was and how much of the old stain was removed. He was very detailed and made sure all the upright rails were fully cleaned. A couple days later, the staining team arrived, right on time, did a beautiful job applying the stain and they were very careful to ensure complete coverage, checking and double-checking their work. After a full day in the hot sun, they returned the next day for the final coat. All in all, Homm Certified Painting Systems did an excellent job from start to finish. From the initial visit to the final product, we couldn't have been more pleased. Andres followed up afterwards to make sure we were pleased and we were! They did a very good job at a great price - highly recommended.

Great customer service, friendly, and responsive. Due to bad weather the job was pushed back a couple weeks but the quality of the work done was worth the wait. The actual painting crew was friendly and professional.

I requested an estimate and Mr. Homm responded immediately and we scheduled an appointment to go over the house. Mr. Homm arrived on time and explained how they worked and want would be covered. I received a formal proposal within a couple of days. The work crew arrived on time everyday and did a thorough job of cleaning up at the end of each day. The painters were quiet, professional and pleasant to deal with. They were quick to address any areas I wanted to fix including re-painting a bedroom because we chose the wrong color. We were very pleased with the quality of the finished product.

They wrote a clear and complete work description for the contract. We had a problem with the paint finish (gloss vs. satin) which they corrected promptly when it was brought to their attention, and they fixed a minor wrinkle in the new screen readily. The crew was friendly, thoughtful of our providing iced water, cheese and cherries for them, professional, and cleaned up really well. They even touched up some paint splashes left by a former contractor on the brick next to the white painted screen porch. As a career engineer in the design, procurement and construction industry, I would rate them among the best contractors I have ever worked with. You couldn't ask for more. Honest, responsive and willing to listen and communicate.

Homm did a great job on our 3-level townhouse. Andres met with us for an estimate and he was on time and detail-oriented. He pointed out areas that were damaged or required a certain paint finish and gave us suggestions. After determining the scope of the project, we contracted with Homm. The foreman, Walter, and the rest of the Homm painting crew, did an excellent job for 3 days to complete our interior painting. They paid special attention to the detail on the trim and made sure everything looked consistent and polished. We were very pleased with the work ethic and quality of work that Walter and the Homm painting crew produced. Quality was very high, responsiveness from Andres and Walter was very good, punctuality was excellent, and professionalism was excellent.

I spoke to one of their contractors the same day I called to request an estimate. When I informed him that we only needed trim repainted, he said he needed to inform me that they have a contract minimum of $500, and that they're currently too booked to schedule us during June. He also stated that no one else would be willing to handle this job for us as well, so I should keep his contact information for that inevitability, so he could "see what he could do". The fact is that there is no such minimum contract claim on their website, nor was that information given to me when I told their receptionist what services we needed performed. Unprofessional and disrespectful.

The job started when expected. It included power washing , sanding, caulking, and painting. Our home is a combination of painted brick and board siding. The biggest challenge was removing the remains of a large climbing vine we had previously removed from our brick chimney. HOMM could not guarantee they could remove all the vine stubble, however, they took exceptional pains to prepare this surface and it exceeded my expectations. My only surprise was that HOMM used a sprayer to paint the majority of the brick surfaces. I had not discussed this in advance, and I assumed it was going to be rolled. However, their approach made sense given the porous nature of the brick and with two coats I was very pleased with the results. Generally, there was a team of 4 working on the house. The calendar days to complete the work was longer than expected due to rain. However, the actual time to complete the work was very accurate. All members of the team were polite, considerate and very professional. They answered all my questions and kept me apprised of their progress.

It went very well. The painters were friendly but quiet, which was nice because we work at home and are often on the phone. They were very tidy and there are no paint spills or drips or anything on the carpet or hardwood. I will definitely use Homm again. During the initial estimating conversation, the sales guy, Andres Matheu, made a detailed list of what I had asked to have done, which was very reassuring, the painters got it all done, and the list was included in the final invoice. We will definitely use Homm again.

A very positive experience. Andres did the consultation which was informative, clear and precise. He gave us price differences of paint types along with the pros and cons of each. He supports using environmental friendly products. We chose Homm over other Angie listed companies b/c of the best price quote for the work to be done. We were kept informed of start date and updated on progress daily. The gentlemen working were extremely professional. It was obvious they take pride in their work. They even had to work around other workers from a siding co. who were finishing hanging siding and gutters (which was delayed due to weather). Homm was very accommodating. The end result is exactly what we had in our contract with exceptional work. They even painted our shutters, as well as scraped and repainted the front door. We are extremely pleased.

Andres was extremely responsive, professional and provided an estimate that was not the least expensive and not the most expensive. It appeared to be fair which is what we were looking for. Andres tinted the primer on the new T1-11 panels to better be able to complete the job with one top coat instead of two which would have added substantially to the cost of the job. The weather was not cooperative this spring and the painting had to be delayed through no fault of HOMM. The painters were very pleasant, worked hard and did a very thorough, quality job. We had a problematic window sill with which my husband was disappointed but we would definitely call on HOMM for any future painting needs and recommend them highly.

Couldn't be happier. This firm was a pleasure to do business with. I bought the complete deck power washing and stain, including materials deal through Angie's List at $1182.00 for a 400 square ft. Our deck is twice that size, with different levels, full stairs, etc. so there was an additional $600.00 that Andres (the contractor) told us about up front. I found Andres to be totally professional, trustworthy and spot on with everything he told me. He made suggestions without pushing or over selling. He always returned my calls right away and explained everything to me. The biggest favor was that my daughter was getting engaged and we were having a surprise engagement party on the deck in 2 weeks and he made it all happen. Andres was always on time, courteous, and I really felt he listened to all my concerns. When the guys showed up for the work, they were respectful and totally professional. The foreman on the job was especially attentive, always keeping my informed with what was next, etc and asking if I had any questions. The work was done beautifully and I can honestly say they did a great job! My deck looks beautiful and just feels like such a better, quality job than others we have used. All in all,,a great experience and we will use Homm Certified Painting again, I am sure.
