I phoned at 10am and they were here by 2pm the same day for a non-urgent request, but in order to accommodate the fact that I had only taken three days off from work so really needed someone pretty quickly. No amount of liquid plumber had done the job, but a proper snaking did. Followed by good advice about what NOT to put down drains again. They were very professional, quick, tidy about the site, and charged what I thought was reasonable under the circumstances. My drains are free at last, and I will call them again.

Replaced necessary parts, leak fixed.

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. After reviewing plumber ratings on Angie's List, I selected Hollin Hall Plumbing based on the numerous positive feedback they had received. My first contact was via phone and I spoke with Kelly. She was extremely helpful and explained all options available. She directed me to several websites where I could browse around and find the replacement faucet I wanted. When I called her back with the part number, she stated she would order immediately, and normally the part would be available within 3 days. As promised, the part arrived in 3 days, and she called to schedule the installation. This was the Wednesday before the July 4th holiday, so the next available date was Friday, July 5. She even gave me a time frame of 11 -1. On Friday, Hollin Hall Plumbing called to say they were running ahead of schedule, and asked if it would be alright for their plumbers to arrive early. Bruce and Ryan arrived approximately 15 minutes early, and immediately were under the sink and removing all the old faucet plumbing. They even eliminated the antiquated dishwasher air gap, which provided the capability for a sprayer attachment, which I had ordered with the new faucet. Bruce and Ryan were extremely competent, professional, and thorough. They cleaned the entire area where they worked and carried away all trash. They will definitely be my first choice in plumbers for all future plumbing needs. Hollin Hall Plumbing price was also very reasonable. They only charged $100 labor, the remainder of the bill was for the fancy Moen faucet I selected. I highly recommend Hollin Hall Plumbing to anyone in need of first class, competent, and reasonable plumbing services.

I had Hollin Hall out last year for a leaky toilet and was impressed with their service and work. When I had problems with a different part of the same toilet this year I called right away. Kelly scheduled me for the first available appointment which was on Thursday morning (I called on Monday) between 8:30-9:30. Originally, she had accidentally stated that the appointment would be Wednesday but as soon as she realized the scheduling error she called me to correct it. She was very friendly and apologetic for the mix up. The guys arrived at 9:15 on Thursday morning and went to work right away. I appreciate that I can describe the problem to them with a complete lack of plumbing knowledge and they know what is actually wrong. They test their theories (which are usually spot on) and get the problem fixed fast. They were done, paid, and on their way by 9:30 and the toilet is in full working order again.

I use them periodically. They were absolutely professional, on time, courteous and very clean. I actually use them all the time.

The job was done well. The only thing I think they should have done was wear some type of footwear over their shoes, especially when one of the guys came upstairs to tell that the job was done. They did give me good advice on how to avoid this problem again. Although I thought it job was a little pricey, I'd use them again

A small pool of water in the closet alerted us to a leak in downstairs coat closet. This was traced to a leaking joint which connected the external faucet to the main water supply. After removing part of the internal dry wall and wet insulation we took out the damp material and dried the surrounds. Having researched local plumbers on Angie's List, we contacted Hollin Hall Plumbing with a non-urgent request for a plumber to fix the leak and replace the requisite pipe work. They offered a same day service and the plumber appeared on time and after less than 30 minutes, he had completed the main task and also fitted an additional bracing support to the internal pipework. In addition he offered very useful advice on the placement of the insulation to prevent a re-occurrence of this problem. We have absolutely no complaints and can only recommend this company for their swift, courteous and efficient service.

They were polite and courteous and punctual and as a matter of fact they were early. The did numerous things for me.

Called at 8 am that morning, they arrived a few minutes before 9:30 am appt and were finished within 15 minutes. Very happy with the job and professionalism.

The plumber who came worked really fast and showed me the cracked pipe he needed to replace, too. $178 for the disposal and trap. The minimum labor charge of $100 applied. I think it only took about 20 minutes, which was great as I hate feeling like I'm getting soaked when the hours pass by as the service professional does all sorts of seemingly ancillary stuff. Plus, he cleaned up and was punctual. About as happy as I've ever been with a plumber.

My kitchen sink was backing up. 13:25 - I called Hollin Hall plumbing and left a message. 13:30 - I received a call back from Hollin Hall Plumbing and they took down my information and said they would have someone out in 10-15 minutes. I asked for a rough estimate of cost, which they provided. 13:41 - I got a second call from Hollin Hall Plumbing verifying my address. 13:50 - Plumbers arrived. Two young men who were polite and professional, removed shoes, etc. They checked the drain and I explained the situation. They reviewed the pipes in the basement and then brought in the snake and snaked the drain. They put down a tarp and did not make any mess. 14:15 - After snaking the drain and reassembling the pipes they tested the drainage and packed up their equipment. 14:20 - They finished their paperwork and accepted my $10 off Angie's List coupon and departed, after providing some advice about the disposal and the kinds of food that frequently get caught in the pipes as well as thoughts on the plumbing in the basement. Note: They only accept cash and checks, which they explained over the phone, in advance.

Great experience! I've found a DC metro area plumber! You will not find a more reasonable and reputable plumber in the area...

Two plumbers came on time and fixed the leaky faucets in my bathtub. Previously, two other plumbing companies had attempted to do so and failed. One did not have the right too l(a seat wrench) . The other did not have the right part.(a seat). One of those two previous companies made the job very difficult by stripping the old seat. Hollin Hall got the job done.

I called Hollins Hall Plumbing on 3/12/2013 around 1:30PM based on their excellent "A" rating in Angie's List and their proximity to my residence. Kelly responded that the plumbers may be able to come to my residence today, if not, then definitely on Wed., 3/13/13. However, she called around 3PM and they were outside my door within 15-20 minutes. They immediately analyzed the problem which was replacing the tubing under the sink. They quickly completed the work within 30 minutes and left my kitchen clean. They were very professional and friendly. Will definitely call them again if necessary. Am very happy with their work!

They were good. They came on time. They have done the job well.

We found our lower level floor covered in water and the ceiling above soft and wet to the touch. We found Hollin Hall Plumbing on Angie's List and called them right away. The plumber was at our house 20 minutes later. He was extremely nice and professional. Even took his shoes off to keep our house clean. He clearly knew what he was doing and quickly found the source of the problem -- a worn out gasket in the upstairs bathtub. He showed me the problem and explained it so I could easily understand. Fortunately it was an easy fix and he was done in half an hour or so. He drained the water out of the ceiling before leaving and charged us a very reasonable rate. We would definitely use them again.

They provided fast and quality work. I was happy with the service.

I am satisfied with the installation overall, however, when they originally installed the exhaust vent pipe on the water heater a portion of the pipe had a downward angle. This is contrary to the installation instructions and can cause serious safety issues as the hot exhaust gas could excape into the basement rather than venting up the chimney. When I discovered the probelm I called and they sent a different technician to correct the vent pipe installation.

After ten days of not hearing anything from the company I called to see if there was any kind of problem. Asked person on phone to let me know of when I might receive a quote. Three days later, still no response. Not waiting any longer. Will call a couple more companies.

We called Hollin Hall Plumbing early one morning when we awoke to discover that the tub faucet would not shut off. Kelly returned our call promptly and arranged for a plumber to come out to our house the same morning. Bruce was able to repair the faucet and was extremely professional. The price was more than fair. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to my neighbors.

We found we had a gas leak on the first floor. Proceeded to call for help and was particularly delighted when we came across Bruce with Hollin Hall. Was here promptly and fixed our problem expeditiously. Thank you Thank you Thank you for your great service. It meant a lot to us.

Very well. I called Monday and they came out Tuesday. I couldn't understand why all of a sudden I had to turn the hot water regulator in the shower all the way over to the hottest setting and then adjust from there, with a noticeable decrease in shower pressure. I thought the hot water heater might need to be replaced. Bruce tested the water heater and could find nothing wrong, so upped the temperature and overall water pressure coming into the house. No high pressure sales pitch to get a new water heater - which I appreciated. I would use Hollin Hall Plumbing again.

I called Hollin Hall (I chose them because have used them previously) and explained my problem and they offered to come out that day. They did the work efficiently, they fixed everything and I was very satisfied. I felt like their rates were fair and they are very easy to work with, professional, and on-time.

The plumber arrived at the earliest part of the two-hour window. I showed him the three things we needed him to fix and he immediately got to work. The first two jobs (unsticking a water valve and fixing the faucet in the bathroom) were completed within 15 minutes). The second job (replacing the kitchen faucet) was done within an additional 30 minutes. He talked me through the steps he performed to fix the issues and made sure I was satisfied with the job. The original estimate was over 2 hours, and he was finished in 45 minutes! Very professional!

The staff was very friendly and professional. The technician came on time, went to work, showed me the glob of hair he got from the drain and showed me that the drain was working (draining) again. He cleaned up after himself and I paid him and he left. I felt the company was upright and professional, but a little on the expensive side. Plus the drain started backing up again after only 3 days! So I don't think they found the root of the problem. And I wasn't willing to call and pay more for them to come back.
