Description of Work: I have used them before and once agin they came out and did a great quick job at a very reasonable price. I had them fix a leaking pipe in the bathroom that had caused some water damage as well as fix a shower and 2sink that wouldn't stop dripping. The total job cost 136 which was very good compared to what I would have paid with one of those bigger companies you see advertising often. I will certainly use them again! John

Had one job we thought would be extensive...however, proved not to be and the price reflected it. Super happy with their timelineses as well. They were short handed and STILL managed to do things quickly and on time.

Description of Work: Came to our home to check out a leaky kitchen faucet; said it needed a new part and that Moen would provide it free. Rec'd part from Moen and plumber came back to our home and installed the new part -- without charging for a second visit!

Description of Work: Hollin has become my goto plumber. I discovered a leak in my basement bathroom ceiling as I was walking a realtor around the house (doesn't that just figure!). Because it was right underneath the upstairs bath, I spent the weekend putting a new seal in the upstairs toilet. But nope, that was not the problem. I figured that out by Sunday night. So first thing Monday I called them and they were here before lunchtime. They had the problem fixed within an hour. The whole incident just reminds me of when you get a cold and you try to use over the counter drugs, deferring the inevitable visit to the doctor and making it all worse.

Description of Work: I called for assistance to unclog a toilet. The clog ended up being the result of our flooring contractor improperly positioning the toilet after putting in a new floor. The plumbers quickly diagnosed the issue, pulled up and repositioned the toilet and fixed the clog. They were great and answered all of my questions.

Description of Work: HH Plumbing fixed a burst pipe and gave me great advice to prevent a future rupture. (this was the second year in a row the pipe needed fixing) They charged considerably less than the last person and I felt like I was in good hands the whole time. Description of Work: I was lucky as I called for service, they had plumbers finishing up a job close by and was at my house within an hour. They quickly repaired 3 cut-off valves (one completely shot); 2 outdoor faucets; 1 toilet (all new internal parts). Everything was repaired quickly, neatly and I am completely satisfied. A different plumber came last week for the outdoor faucets and their response was that it had to be completely replaced at a $385 price; naturally to say not only did they not get the business but they will never be called to my house again. However Hollin Hall Plumber will definitely be who I call first on my future plumbing needs.

Description of Work: My bathtub wasn't draining. They snaked the drain and fixed the problem. This sounds like a simple matter, but the plumbing in my house is old and very "quirky"! The bathtub drain runs horizontally under the floor to the opposite wall and then goes vertical. I've use a number of plumbers over the years and Hollin did by far the best job. It's now 6 months later and my drain is still running easily (a record number of months) I absolutely will use them again - probably next spring. The 2 men who came to my house were both very professional and personable - a good experience all around.

Description of Work: I found a significant drain overflow that this company had fixed a couple of years ago. Unfortunately I called on Friday afternoon at 4:30 pm (they close at 4:00). I was under the impression that they can take some emergency work, however I never received a return phone call and solved the problem by contacting another Angie's List contractor on Saturday morning.

I can not tell you enough about their uncanny ability to do the right thing in an industry who's people often do not.

Description of Work: A pipe had leaked and ruined the ceiling drywall in our family room. Hollin Hall plumbing sent their plumber out on Saturday, he arrived exactly on time. He isolated the leak, and replaced a piece of the piping in less than 30 minutes. Bruce Storey also took the time to answer our questions, we are going to use him again to install our new sink.
