Of the three estimates I requested to wash and stain my aging deck and stairs, Joe is the only handyman who came in person to bid on the job. Therefore he was prepared and willing to make necessary small repairs and replacements. Joe and his helper were on time and efficient. The deck and stairs look great and will last.

Joseph repaired my fence last year. He was very timely and his team did a great job. Unfortunately, some of the nails starting coming out recently, and he came out and honored his one year warranty and did some extra work to seal the deal and to ensure a little more longevity. I am very grateful for his professionalism in honoring his work. I would definitely recommend him to others seeking his handyman services.

Positives: Joe is a great professional who knows what he's doing and have a great deal of experience in building and repairing decks. He explained process and what steps will be taken during the project. Negatives: Although he is a great communicator, Joe does not observe his own deadlines and promises he makes. Despite a few setbacks from county about permission and inspections, it still took Joe about 2 month to finish my deck. There was a constant push from me to complete the job. Joe is also consistently asking for money in advance and making all kinds of excuses to avoid doing a job although there was no logic in dragging this project, but it could have been done way faster and better. Joe is not a good communicator when it comes to completing a job, and there is a feel of slacking in his work. Recommendations: I would still recommend Joe, but I would ask for a firm and realistic date for completion of a project and realistic deadlines. Please stick to the contract.

Joe and Kenny did an amazing job replacing a section of our fence that was truly ready to fall. The price was definitely competitive and fair. The work was completed quickly and we now have a fence that won’t blow over in the wind! Highly recommend Hndyguy, LLC and we will be hiring again for future projects like our deck railing.

Joe was incredibly responsive! He contacted me within an hour of putting in the request via Angi, and was ON SITE within another hour to assess the work. Joe was personable and knowledgeable, and his estimate was very reasonable. The very next day he and his team performed the work, and did an excellent job. Will hire again for other projects!

Joe replaced the deteriorated top deck railings. He is fair, honest, reliable, and professional. Plus, knowledgeable and efficient. On completion the work area was left clean and neat. I will not hesitate to call on The Handy Guy for other projects.

Fast service. Good worker

After exchanging terms and conditions, pictures of the job and establishing a start date and time and price, I hired Joe from Hndyguy to remove tile and old cabinets, and replace drywall in my basement. I sent a signed agreement on December 20th for work to start at 10 am January 4th and Vendmoed him $250 down payment. The day before the job was to start I texted Joe to make sure we were still on schedule for the work. He responded by telling me he ran into issues on his current job and proposed moving the job to the next day. I agree and we established a time. The time came and went that day and he did not show. I called three times and texted several times with no response. That evening, he finally texted me back, stating he had vehicle issues and would not be able to do my job. Apparently, when you have vehicle issues, your phone does not work either. He stated he would refund my down payment but has yet to do so. Joe wasted the time I could have been working on my basement project. He is dishonest, unresponsive and unreliable. Do not hire him, do not give him a down payment.

The guys were great. They were thorough and the work was quality. They arenâ t cheap but their work is worth the price.
