Description of Work: We had several problems with our 5-year-old computer--the biggest being very slow at times. We got Jennifer Smith's name from Angie's List and contacted her. She came to our house at the agreed upon time and immediately started diagnosing the problem. As she was doing that she cleaned up a number of things on the computer. She concluded that the slowness problem was most likely caused by a lack of RAM. We were all the time asking questions which she answered in a way we could understand. We discussed the pros and cons of upgrading to Windows 10 when it comes out verses buying a new computer. She gave us very valuable advice. She also transferred some data to a thumb drive so we could share it with a relative. Jennifer was very professional, explained things well and got our old computer to work much better than it had been working--all at a reasonable cost. We would definitely use her again.

+ -1 moreJennifer called ahead of time and notified me of when she would arrive. She was very professional and knows well her business in computer support. She worked diligently over the three plus hours she was here; correcting a number of my mistakes. I would highly recommend her for computer support.
Description of Work: Jennifer set up my new laptop computer after "cleaning up" my early/old tower. She spent 3+ straight hours at what I consider a "tough" job dealing with many old and unused programs/files.

+ -1 moreWe called on Sunday and Jennifer arrived as promised on Monday morning. She not only got rid of the intrusive software we had inadvertently downloaded; she also checked and removed files and the like that were slowing down our computer. She did this while my husband and I watched; she explained everything she did, and showed us how we could avoid or fix similar problems in the future.
Description of Work: Came to our home and removed spyware/viruses from our desktop; also made improvements to our computer's performance and speed.
