Description of Work: Bought a garage door tune-up, however the door was very old and beyond tuning up. Family Prestige offered to apply the tune-up cost to a new door.

Description of Work: Before the technician even looked at the door he asked me if I had ever thought about getting a new garage door. I was shocked that he would ask this without looking at the door. It seemed like all he wanted to do was sell me a new door. My current door is in fine shape.

Description of Work: They were prompt, friendly and offered good quality workmanship at my budget.

Description of Work: The technician cleaned and adjusted the drive chain. They cleaned and lubricated the track guides and replaced the old worn rollers(10) with new ones. He inquired why I needed the service and I told him that the door had been acting erratically for several months. He noticed that the door opener was manufactured approximately 20 years ago. He suggested that it may be time to think about replacing it the old motor was showing signs of deterioration. I told him that I appreciated his suggestion and asked which brands he recommended. I concluded the visit telling him that I would check their website for a decent sale when I'm ready to replace the old garage door opener.

Description of Work: We had Family Prestige Garage Doors replace a roller and perform maintenance on our two-car garage doors. Before coming out the system had began to shake harder and harder and squeak very loudly. They identified the source of the problem and lubed all moving parts. We are very happy with their service and would use them again.

Description of Work: Replaced rollers and tuned up 3 garage door openers; repaired broken drive belt on one door. Very thorough and knowledgeable. Pointed areas that were missed in the initial opener installation 8 years ago.

Description of Work: They tuned up and serviced two garage doors. The "special" was $150.00 but the additional work he deemed necessary added $700.00.

Description of Work: The "contract" said service the garage door. When the tech. arrived he stated that "service" only included oiling the hinges and replacing the rollers. I had a problem with the door not going down. He informed me that would be extra. I had him provide the contracted "service" and that was all. I was disappomited that "service the garage door" had such a narrow interpretation.

Description of Work: Arrived on time for a Saturday installation, removed old garage door, installed new one. I had added a liftmaster opener and keypad to the installation. We had one minor snafu, there was a wiring issue. I notified them on Monday, the electrician came out the same day and corrected the issue. I was very happy with the process.
