Description of Work: Replaced two springs after one broke.

Description of Work: The repairman was on time. He replaced rollers. He wanted me to pay 175$ plus tax to replace the safety sensors. I looked up the item on Amazon for 22$. It took me 10 min to replace later that week. He offered to do other items but I refused. He was gone in 10-15 mins.

Description of Work: They replace all the rollers, lubricated and aligned them all on two doors.

Description of Work: Family Prestige was selected to install a new garage door opener, using an Angie's List deal. Installer was late (12:30, for a 10:00-12;00 appointment), a little rude ("You need to move your car so I can park closer."), and wasn't aware that I had already paid through Angie's List. I had also requested a second remote and a keyless entry system; prices for those two items ($25 and $35) were specified in the Angie's List deal. Instead, the installer tried to charge me $99 and $70 for the two items, even when I showed him the Angie's List paperwork. At one point, he told me, "if you don't want to pay what I'm telling you it costs, I can just remove the garage door opener I just installed." Even after the company office told him to accept the payment (I called them, he didn't), he remained rude. Too many businesses in the area to deal with those who don't understand basic principles of customer service. I would not choose them again or recommend them to anybody else.

Description of Work: Lubricated track and replaced rollers of the garage door, eliminated squeaking when in use.

Description of Work: They did the Angie's List garage door tuneup deal which seemed to be done properly although I have no way of knowing for sure. I also asked them to replace the seal on the garage door bottom because the original seal that was 15 years old looked like it had either been damaged or not installed properly. They replaced the seal and said everything was okay and started to drive away. Luckily I shut the garage door and saw that you could see daylight at the bottom of the door. I should have tested it while they were there but in any case I was able to flag them down and told them the door wasn't closing properly. They came back and spent another 15 minutes or so adjusting the door so it closed all the way. It seems to be working properly now but I am disappointed that they didn't realize there was a problem before they started to leave the first time. Or maybe they knew there was a problem but we're hoping I wouldn't notice.
