I PURCHASED THE ANGIE'S LIST BIG DEAL. WE HAVE LIVED IN THIS HOME FOR 3 YEARS AND THE GARAGE DOOR , WHICH IS AN OLDER MODEL, HAD NEVER BEEN SERVICED. THE KEY PAD HAD ALSO NEVER BEEN FUNCTIONAL. JOSE CONTACTED ME WITHIN A FEW HOURS OF PURCHASING THE SERVICE VIA ANGIE'S LIST. AFTER DISCUSSINIG WHAT WOULD BE DONE, AND THE ADDITIONAL SERVICES I WAS REQUESTING, HE SAID HE WOULD HAVE HIS SECRETARY CALL ME BACK TO SCHEDULE, WHICH SHE DID LATER THAT DAY. SHE SAID THAT THE TECH WOULD CALL WHEN THEY WERE ABOUT 30 MINUTES AWAY ON THE DAY OF SERVICE. JOSE ENDED UP COMING OUT HIMSELF, AND DID CALL TO LET ME KNOW THEY WERE ON THE WAY. THEY WERE ON TIME, AND VERY FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. JOSE EXPLAINED EVERYTHING THEY WOULD BE DOING, AND THAT HE WOULD ALSO LOOK INTO WHAT WAS CAUSING THE ISSUES WITH THE KEY PAD. THEY REPLACED THE ROLLERS, ADJUSTED THE SPRINGS, AND GENERALLY TUNED UP AND LUBED ALL THE WORKING PARTS OF THE DOOR. HE ALSO ADJUSTED THE SPEED THAT THE DOOR OPENED AND SHUT, EXPLAINING THAT IT WOULD BE SAFER FOR THE SMALL DOGS IN OUR HOME, IN THE EVENT THEY WERE EVER STANDING UNDER THE DOOR. HE FIXED THE KEY PAD IN 5 MINUTES AND AT A VERY NOMINAL COST!!! WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE. THE DOOR WORKS AND SOUNDS 100% BETTER. IT IS NICE TO BE ABLE TO USE THE KEY PAD TO OPEN AND SHUT THE DOOR AS WELL. WE PLAN ON REPLACING THE DOOR AND OPENER IN THE NEXT 2-3 YEARS AND WILL MOST DEFINITELY BE CALLING FAMILY PRESTIGE!! THEY WERE FRIENDLY, PUNCTUAL, PROFESSIONAL, AND HELPFUL. THEY DID EVERYTHING THEY SAID WAS INCLUDED IN THE DEAL WE PURCHASED, AND CHARGED A VERY FAIR PRICE TO REPAIR THE OTHER ITEM WE REQUESTED. YOU CAN'T ASK FOR MORE THAN THAT. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM

It was an Angie's List Big Deal and I purchased 2 of them for 2 different houses. I paid an additional $80. I would recommend them. He was very helpful. It was a complicated problem to fix and he was able to get it done without replacing the door so I was happy with that. I plan to use them again.

We are delighted with the outcome of this job. We have been in our home for 4 years and for the last 2 the doors have made me a little nervous as they seemed to wobble when opening and closing. Jose was due to arrive between 10-1 pm. He called around 9 to see if it was possible for him to come a little early. I was delighted as it would free me for the day. He did a terrific job. We can hardly believe the difference. I would certainly recommend this company. Safe garage doors are a must. We now have peace of mind!

Jose was totally professional. Called to confirm appointment the day before, called the day of the appointment to let me know exactly they'd be there. I was difficult to get a hold of, but that didn't stop Jose from trying! Finally got a hold of me and was able to meet with me in 15 minutes of the call. Examined both garage doors and was able to access the situation and make a knowledgeable recommendation which he then proceeded to execute immediately. I highly recommend Jose and staff to anyone. Their price was very competitive and they scheduled the installation over a weekend to accomodate my schedule. Since I had never had an automatic garage door before, they took time to make sure I understood how to properly operate it. I was very pleased with the quality of their work and would definitely hire them again.

I bought a garage door tune-up. They called me to arrange an appointment. The technician was on time, courteous, and efficient. My door works great! I am absoluitely thrilled with the service and the company. I would definitely use them again.

I took advantage of a Big Deal offer and had my garage door tuned up. The work itself was great. The only problem was scheduling. I think the company had a big response to their Big Deal and were stretched thin. I had a window of 1-3 on Thursday and no one came. I called and asked and they said Friday between 1-3. Then Jose showed up at 5pm on Friday. It was a little crazy because I was just getting ready to leave. He worked very quickly and my door is much better than it was and I haven't had any of the problems I was having since. I would use them again for future service or repairs.

Great company. The Technician serviced the garage door, fixed trim, reset remotes adn fixed the key pad. He was above and beyound what I expected.

The garage door tune-up went well, and the new springs and rollers were installed quickly while I was running errands. The door runs more quietly, and is much better balanced.

I purchased the Big Deal garage door tune-up from Family Prestige Garage Doors. The first thing that really impressed me about Jose and this company was that he called shortly after I purchased the Big Deal to schedule an appointment. I really appreciated this. So many times companies do not bother to take the initiative to call the customer. And sometimes we get so busy wee forget to call the company to schedule an appoinntment. Jose was able to schedule the tune-up appointment on a day I already worked from home, which was a great help to me not to have to schedule a day away from the office. He emailed me to confirm the appointment date and time, called me the morning of to let me know he was on his way, and was very prompt in showing up at the scheduled time. After taking a look at the door, rollers, etc, he recommended the rollers and the bottom door panel be replaced. The door panel was broken. It was a wood garage door that was 16 years old and this was the first time I had it serviced. I knew the bottom was cracked and had a feeling it would need to be replaced at some point. He quoted me the price for the replacement (which was basically a custom job because they don't make that door any longer) and also the price for a new steel door. Jose never pressured me one way or another regarding which option to choose. I appreciated his honest opinion and answers to my questions. After talking to him about what was included in a new door vs the repair job, what it was constructed of, and seeing a sample, I decided to go with a new door. After all was said and done, having a new door, a warranty, and having some insulation problems corrected was worth purchasing a new door. He was able to schedule the installation on my work from home day again. He actually showed up a little early and did the job in a very reasonable time all by himself. After installation, he went over the warranty information, how to lock the door if needed, how to use the manual release in case of a power outage, answered the questions I had, and gave me the documentation. He even put a screw in the inside of door to prevent someone from lockimg the door from the outside thus causing major problems when the door opener would be invoked. Those extra touches really mean a lot. I would highly recommend Jose and Family Prestige Garage Doors to anyone on Angie's List. He is friendly, professional, fairly priced, and, most importantly, honest. I appreciate that in companies I deal with. I look forward to using Jose's company in the future for any other needs I may have regarding my garage door and will definitely recommend him to my neighbors/co-workers/friends/family when they are in need of such services.

Appeared on time explained the service, explained extra services, provided additional repairs at reasonable additional cost, worked very hard with tuning the door up. Very happy with the company.

I called on a Saturday at about 12 Noon and they were there by 2:30. Finished the job in about an hour. Extremely courteous, prompt, and professional.

Showed up when promised. Installed door since new door was heater the old motor had to be replaced.

Technician first emailed to thank me for the job. Date was set. Technician was prompt and professional . Could tell he knew what he was doing. Also, cleaned up. He advise of other services provided by the company. Will refer to others.

I bought the Angie's List Big Deal that this company had for a garage door tuneup. I couldn't have been happier with the service we received. In addition to the tuneup, I had an issue with the garage door not closing whenever there was sunlight. They were extremely responsive, emailing me and calling me about the upcoming appointment. They were so flexible that they even allowed me to move the original appointment to the next day when the appointment day turned out to be cloudy (and there was no way to show the sunlight issue we were having). They called beforehand to let me know when they would arrive and arrived within the 1 hour timeframe they had given. They also were able to pinpoint the issue very quickly, and fixed it at no extra cost along with the tuneup. I couldn't be happier with the service they provided--it was personable, courteous, professional, and prompt, and they did what they said they would do, and more. I would certainly use them again and would highly recommend them to others.

Family Prestige agreed to come the day I called between 5 and 6 PM (after their normal hours, I think). They arrived on time and were totally professional and explained my options. When they finished I had new sensors, no wires on the side of the garage wall, new rollers that were much quieter than the old ones, and an adjusted garage door with all the rollers in alignment. They even swept the gargae floor before they left (and this at the end of their day)! I would use them again and have already shared their information with my neighbors.

Jose Sandoval, the manager, came out to our house to get details for an estimate. He was prompt, professional, and extraordinarily polite. Also, he was really easy to get in touch with (actually answered his phone and responded quickly to emails). The price was better than what was quoted by the "big box" home improvement stores, and we really prefer to support small business owners. On the day of installation, he and his crew showed up on time and worked quietly and quickly until the job was done. They cleaned everything up after themselves and hauled away the old doors and hardware. The doors look great and the openers are whisper quiet!
