Jose, the Family Prestige Garage Doors, LLC technician, arrived on time and immediately began his inspection of our double car garage door. He reported his observations and recommendations and after consulting with me regarding the doors condition and status, he immediately began his work. From my oberservations, he performed a thorough inspection and his work was precise and expedient, and more important, effective. The door operates much more smoothly and quietly now. Jose mentioned that I may need to consider that some time in the future I would/may need to replacing the springs and/or the door (Note, this was the original garage door built with the house in 1987). It should be noted that Jose made no attempt to and quot;hard selland quot; a replacement. When I do decide/need to replace our garage door, I know I will be calling Family Prestige Garage Dooors, LLC for their services. I highly recommend them. I would also like to note that I purchased this service for approximately $90, when it is normally $250 with the Angie's List Big Deal promotion. It really was a good deal.

The company responded very quickly to our first message. There was initially a mix-up about the scheduling, but that was clarified quickly. Jose was very nice and professional throughout the whole process. The day of our appointment he called to say that he was available to come to the house earlier if that would be convenient. He pointed out the problem areas of our garage door and opener, suggested repairs, quoted a price (offering an Angie's List discount), and fixed what was wrong. He took the time to explain the issues he saw, and showed both our old parts and the new replacement parts for comparison. When the reconditioning and repairs were done, Jose pointed out things to keep an eye out for in the future. I don't think our garage door and motor operated this quietly even when new! We would definitely use this company again.

He arrived on time, performed the work and made recommendations relative to the maintain of the garage door.

Contractor responded on the day of my request and installed the door two weeks earlier than expected which was good. He also provided advice on selecting a door that would best fit the style of my home to include color recommendation.

It went very well. I was contacted several times before the man arrived and he was right on time. He also fixed the door so it would completely close. He cleaned up after his work and was very polite and helpful. I'd called this company again.

Outstanding!! Much to my surprise (and in great contrast to another Big Deal company that I did not hear from for over a week), I got an immediate (within 2 hours) response from Jose and was able to get an appointment for the next day. Jose showed up almost to the minute for the appointment period, introduced himself, confirmed the Big Deal that I had purchased, and described what he would be doing. I described to Jose the trouble we have had recently with the garage door opening and closing. He did an initial inspection and set to work. Less than 2 hours he was done. As he described what he had done, he also explained the most likely cause for the problems (garage door opener is underpowered for the heavy wooden door) and that we didn't really need to do anything now unless we really wanted to. He also explained a couple of the cautions about garage doors, especially heavy wooden ones such as ours. The door is now quieter and smoother when opening and closing. (which means it will be longer before we have to replace the opener, an added benefit.) I learned some new things about garage doors which affirmed my decision to have a professional work on the door rather than do it myself. When the time comes to replace the opener, I will be calling Family Prestige.

From my first contact with this company they were willing to work with me because I needed this service immediately. They were prompt and worked hard and when I decided I needed 2 new garage door openers, the were very accommodating by fitting me in. Jose explained everything to me, cleaned up the mess and told me to call if I had any issues. I was very pleased with my experience with Family Prestige.

Very courteous on the phone when scheduling. Arrived early, explained what he was going to do, completed within the hour, was very fair. There was some minor clean up to be done that was missed.

Purchased the deal on Monday evening, received a call from the provider same evening. Scheduled an appointment for Tuesday, new panel install on Wednesday. Quick, prompt, and gave numerous options (which was greatly appreciated).

Very professional job - as soon as I purchased the coupon, I was contacted by Prestige Garage Doors and a very convenient appointment was set up. They showed up on time, made recommendations for what parts needed replacement and replaced only those that I chose. The work was done very efficiently and they were cleaned up in no time. Before they left, we operated the door several times to make sure I was satisfied with the job - would definitely use them again.

Family Prestige Garage Doors initiated contact within 48hours of purchasing the and quot;Angie’s Big Dealand quot;, After a brief game of telephone-tag, we connected, and scheduled an appointment for the following week. The day before the appointment, I received email from the company confirming the appointment for the next day, and the scheduled arrival time (08:00 - 10:00), the email also stated the technician would call about 30 minutes prior to arriving, On Wednesday morrning, the called about 07:30 and notified us that he was on his way. Just a little before 08:00, the technician arrived and began the service on my garage door, he replace the old rollers with the new nylon rollers, and ensured that all the hinges, connectors, and fittings were properly tightened. We informed him that we had recently had some problems with the garage door opener failing to close properly (reversing when nearing closure). He checked the torsion spring, and determined that it needed adjustment to allow the garage door opener to function correctly. And since the service was completed, we have not had any issues with the garage door closing. The garage door now opens and closes a lot smoother, and is much quieter while in operation. The technician noted that since door was more than twenty years old, and had previously sustained some minor damage from a car bumper, that we might want to consider installing a new door. He assured us that the door was safe and functional, but suggested that a new door would look better, provide better insulation, and even quieter operation. However, at no time did he attempt to “hard sell” us on a new door.

The guy that came out was okay, had a nice attitude and he did the job correctly.

Everything went very well. The door is very quiet going up and down and the seal is great. No air leaks from the outside. They programmed the opener inside my car as well. Overall, we are very satisfied with the work. Thank you Jose!
