Prestige rep arrived on time and was very pleasant. He worked diligently and was extremely knowledgeable and skilled. My garage doors work SO much better- it's quieter and operates much more smoothly. I would call Prestige again, and would recommend them for this service.

I purchased the big deal coupon for this service and it was okay. I ended up paying a lot more than the big deal. The big deal was for $119 and I paid over $500 on their services, and that's because they told me that I needed a new motor. They did a good job, but I don't like it when it's one price and when they show up it's another price. So it was several hundred dollars more. It took a while to get them to come out. They were professional.

The provider notified me immediately upon the purchase of the 'Big Deal'. We established a date and time and he promptly arrived (actually a few minutes early) per our agreement. From start to finish, the entire process took less than 30 minutes. However, my garage door no longer squeals, and the neighbors are no longer aware of my arrival/departure.

We have an old wooden garage door with an opener that was no longer functioning. The door was extremely hard to open manually due to its weight. After the rep tuned it up, I am able to open it easily. Unfortunately, we still need a new garage door and opener, but that's for another trip. I will call Prestige when we are ready to do it.

Family Prestige Doors provided good service and professionalisms. I found them through a special deal on Angie's List. They tuned up my garage doors and replaced the rollers. The replacement rollers caused the garage door to raise improperly, which they noticed. They then cut a piece of metal to brace the railing so that the garage door would raise smoothly, and did not charge me for this installation. They were patient in answering my basic questions about the maintenance and service of my garage door. I would recommend them.

Arrived promptly and performed all work required. Friendly and courteous. I would definitely recommend this family owned company.

Jose did a great job. He did not pressure me to approve the additional tasks, and he did a good job of listing each as a separate line item so that I could understand the potential new costs. For each line item he also listed the savings I got by virtue of being an Angie's List customer. After I approved the work, he completed it quickly and well. I listed his Punctuality as a 'B' since he missed the arrival-time windows by 1 hour. Overall I was very happy with the experience.

Turn out it was unsafe as we had suspected. We went on to hire them to replace it with a new garage door. The new door not only works better, but also is insulated so it doesn't let the outside heat/cold in as much. The staff were very responsive, polite and helpful, and I happily recommend them. UPDATE 7/7/2014: It has been over one year since Family Prestige installed our new garage door and opener. We couldn't be happier by the continued performance and enhancements that it has made. The energy efficiency of the insulated door they installed has been great. Part of our house sits above the garage door so we really feel the cold on the floor in the winter time, this last year we had so many cold days and nights, but our floors above the garage were not as cold as they usually are because the garage door did a great job of insulating the air space. Even now in the hot days of summer, we can comfortably work in the garage without A/C because the garage door does a very good job of insulating the space. Also, we are very please by how quiet the new lift master door opener is. With a new infant in our house, it barely makes an audible noise and has never disrupted our baby while she is napping. Our garage door was previously loud and squeaky. We knew that we needed to have some maintenance performed, and this was a great choice. Prompt arrival, courteous, and very professional. We plan to now ensure that we have regular maintenance/inspections on the garage door in the future to prevent any problems.

The owner provided the service. My husband was very impressed becaue not only did he do the services that were expected, he showed my husband a few different ways to maintain the garage door working (ours really needed a maintenance!). He arrived on time, spent an appropriate enought time doing the job (but not rushed) and really took the time to explain a few things to my husband. Now -- almost two months later -- it is still working great -- we had had a problem where it wasn't going down the first time in the morning -- we have not had that problem in since! Very happy with the price and the work!

Very friendly worker showed up on time and promptly got to work replacing the rollers, tightening screws, checking cables, oiling the changes, adjusted the motor and how far the door opened and closed, installed rubber along the bottom of the door and new sensors. We purchased the and quot;Big Dealand quot; as we felt we needed the door to be checked and also wanted the adjustments made so we could get a SUV into the garage. The worker was very friendly and helpful in terms of making all of the necessary replacements, adjustments and additional services as well as letting us know the estimated costs which were reasonable. We are happy with how the door operates now and that it is much smoother. Highly recommend this company for their outstanding work.

We bought this deal from Prestige on May 29th and by June 5th our very large and old double garage door was reconditioned and working so much better. Jose was professional, prompt and did the task that we paid for. He did point out some safety issues with our old door and offered a great deal on a new door. We did not take him up on it, but he did not do a hard sale on it. We really appreciated his attitude. I would definitely would use him again and will call him if we decide to replace the door.

Jose came to give us an estimate on replacing our garage doors. We knew we wanted the carriage door style and they had a great selection at a good price. We ordered them and they came in exactly the time frame that was quoted us. He made the extra effort to install them as soon as possible knowing that we had doors that didn't function at all. I am very pleased with their work. They look amazing and i would highly recommend this company to anyone.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. I was very pleased with their service. I felt that the serviceman was very interested in making repairs that were economically sound rather than trying to sell parts. He was asking me what could be adjusted and also how I could avoid prematurely having my garage doors freeze up or get stuck. He's just very helpful in his advice and in the changes that he made. He came out practically the same time I purchased the deal. The price was reasonable.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It worked out just fine. They came the next day or the day after to do the work. It turned out to be a pretty simple fix. He obviously knew his stuff and he spoke knowledgeably about the issue. He figured out what the problem was immediately and he fixed it very quickly and efficiently.

Our experience with them did not go well. The first time they were here, we sat through with them and they let us know that, after there was a problem with one of the repairs they did, we needed all these additional work done on our garage door. When we tried to do some comparison checks, other people said we didn't need those jobs done. They had done a refutable job in telling us the problems that they identified, supposedly, in the garage door.

Finished the job in the allotted time with efficiency and quality of workmanship.

The mechanic was prompt and friendly. He did did everything the big deal listed and some extra small things also.

It went very well. They were punctual, did all the work and cleaned up completely. They were very professional. My garage door is very quiet now and working well. I would recommend them to anyone.

The service provider was prompt and reliable. He made an astute assessment about the status of the door and its design. Informed me that it was not properly installed by the previous owners and therefore what he could do with it in the state it was in. He did get it running again and oiled it throughout. He helped me understand what I can do to protect the door now and what could be done in the future in terms of improving or replacing the current door.

The service appointment went great. The garage door had not been tuned up in many years. It sounded as if it would fall apart at any moment. Now, it is quiet, glides better and there is no hesitation. I'm sure my neighbors are happy that it is not nearly as noisy as it was before especially early in the morning.

I had some problems since the service was performed. He came out late and said that I needed a new opener. I have since discovered that he disabled some safety features that the opener provided by th esetting changed that he did on the opener.I would recoment that he not make any setting changes in your opener.

He was very quick to schedule the service. He got to my house at the tail end of the promised time. Once here he replaced all rollers, greased all chains, etc. used silicone spray on the tracks and checked to make sure the door was quiet and moving correctly. He replaced the light bulb because it was burned out. I had to ask him to do that. Overall he was very professional.
