Replaced metal rollers, replaced failed keypad, spotted failing balance spring and replaced. Provider's staff arrived when promised and performed service efficiently.

I had a crack in my garage door and one of the glasses needed to be replaced. It's my rental property in another state and I have family that looks after it for me. I asked the service man to initiate contact with me first and then my family. I left a very detailed email with everyones contact information but somehow there was a communication error. Snow in the DC area ended up making us change the date they were supposed to repair my door, however they waited until the last minute to contact me, actually I had to end up calling them to find out if they were still coming. The second time they were punctual, professional, and did a nice job. I would use them again but I think they can use some work in the areas I described above.

Contractor easy to work with, did the work requested

These guys were great! I purchased the coupon: $75 for $150 Worth of Garage Door Service, Replacement, Accessories or More. It was one of the best deals I've had on Angie's LIst. First of all, they communicated with me very well, and scheduled maintenance on the day that best worked for my schedule. This happened to be 2 days before Christmas, which was amazing to me. Anyway, 2 technicians started working right on time. They installed 2 garage sensors, installed hardware to fix a safety issue with the garage door spring coils, and removed/replaced door weather stripping. They finished up quickly, and took the time to explain and show me all the work that they did. i would use them again, and recommend them to my friends and neighbors. Great company!

I was very impressed with the technician and his thoroughness. Took his time to make sure everything was operating correctly and explained his repairs and adjustments to me. I was completely satisfied with the service and would use this company again.

Tuned up garage door replacing steel bearings with fiber glass.

It was pretty good. There were parts that were bad and things that needed to be done above the deal. So, I think that I had to pay an additional may be $180 something like that. I thought the charges were bit excessive, but I don't really have anything to compare to. I just thought they were little bit high, but the people were very nice. They were very professional, very accommodating, very responsive and very punctual. I would use them again in the future.

Replace garage door motor and tracks

Very well. The provider came to do a garage motor install, but the doors are very old, and need new hardware. He estimated the repair job, and quoted a new set of doors with motors. I did not want to spend that much at this time. He was very nice and helpful and I will do business with him in the future when I am ready for the repairs.

Sent email regarding estimate, on a weekend, and they called and were at my door in 10 minutes. This was way better than the other shops who never responded even after a week. Garage door had to be ordered, but arrived and were installed within the communicated 2 week timeline. Due to the change in door thickness, I got new tracks, and due to a low hanging ceiling, it required a lot of time and adjustment. However, after a few hours, the result was worth the wait. They made extra sure the weatherstripping around the door was airtight. My garage door opener was smoother/quieter than before, positioned better, and they even mounted my door sensors to the wall whereas I had just glued them to the floor.

They pointed out that my self-installation of the garage door opener placed the unit to low and it was putting to much stress on the opener. For about $45, they fixed that as well. The door operation is much quieter now. They were on time, fast, efficient, and did a great job.

I[ purchased a deal on Saturday, and the vendor contacted me within 48 hours. We agreed on a date/time and Jose showed up between 8 and 10 AM, per his email. He was friendly, polite, and service oriented. He and his helper completed the job in about an hour and obviously knew what they were doing He clearly explained all the charges and services to me. Overall, a very good experience.

Family Prestige Garage Door was excellent. They responded very quickly to my inquiry, visited my house the next day, ordered a new garage door to be delivered within 2 weeks and installed it as soon as it arrived. Jose Sandovai was very professional and I would recommend this company to anyone looking for excellect service.

They did exactly as advertised and I was pleased to see the details up front in the package they offered! There was another garage door ad on Angie's list but I didn't select that one because the service was not specific about what their tune up contained. Prestige Garage Doors ad was very specific and I was pleased with the professionalism of the two men who worked on my door. I feel it was great service and value! Would use them again for any garage door issues!

I had a garage door tuneup. Technician was on time and courteous. He replaced rollers and lubicated. The door was definitely quieter and smoother going up and down. The problem was at the end when technician closed the door and there was lubricant splatter on both sides of the door. He looked a little surprised but then said it would disappear. It didn't. I had to wash the door three times over the next week. Service person cleanup, real cleanup, is important to me. Service personnel can't expect the homeowner (in this case a slightly crippled one) to be happy with service when they go away having left the homeowner with another problem.

Garage tech was punctual and polite. We had a problem with one of the garage doors where a contractor had cut or broken one of the lead wires and then spliced it together unbeknownst to us. The garage door would only close automatically if you held the button down. We had thought it was an issue with the magic eye. The tech replaced the lead for us and only charged me for the materials, including the cost of the repair in the tune up cost.

So far, so good. They were punctual for the appointment. Scheduling was very easy. One technician came out to do the work and it only took about 40 minutes to complete everything. I am satisfied with the results so far but I did think the price was a little high.

Just came out to give me an estimate but I will use them because they are way cheaper than the other companies that quoted me a panel replacement price!

My garage door was making lot of noise and Jose quickly diagnosed the cause (caused by brackets), he recommended replacing the brackets. He said typically it costs $75, but he offered $25 discount and I took the offer. The door is now operating so smoothly and I am very happy. There were some wires hanging on the side and he rolled up the wires and tightened it (no more hanging wires). He also applied grease to the rails for smoother operation. He noticed one of the panel is breaking loose and recommended replacing the door since this wooden door panel alone would cost $400. He showed what kind of door he would replace and but did not push for the sale. I wanted to put rubber bottom for the garage door, but it was bit pricey ($150, but he offered for $100), so I decided not to go with it. The door was also not stopping half way through (it would fall all the way down), he adjusted the springs and now the door perfectly stops when it is supposed to. The receipt he gave me showed $99, but I paid $122. Not sure why the discrepancy is with the charge. Awesome job. I would highly recommend this company for any garage door needs.

Jose and Julian arrived around 2pm to give assessment and advice for new door and opener. Selected 3 layer insulated door from Premium Series and door opener with DC Battery Back Up from Elite Series. Coupon applied with additional discount. Jose said the special order would take about 2 wks. He contacted me 11/22 and scheduled installation 11/23 between 9-12pm. Arrived 9:40 am and completed 3:45 pm.
