They were excellent! They solved our problem and gave us good advice. They showed up on time and did good work.

It went okay but there was scheduling problems. They were significantly late, but was not a problem on my end. They did call and let me know. They said they would have to come out and do tune up first and then would have to schedule later for windows. Seemed a long time to wait for the windows to be scheduled.

In a word-they were great: We needed immediate help with 2 garage doors. They called on the 1st biz day after I purchased their services on Angies. In fact, it was within 24 hours as they came out and finished the work-today. They had all of the parts required for the work. And--they were fast. Nice. Two days ago, one of the loading spring and quot;exploded.and quot; It sounded like a bomb had exploded. Time to call in the pros. They evaluated the problem -first. We talked about what was needed to regain function versus a complete overhaul and came to agreement on work and cost--a middle ground.. They replaced/+ repaired broken tracks-rollers and reset 1 out of alignment pulley mechanism. In addition, they lubricated everything and checked electricity, All was done quickly. We have cars in the garage tonight because of them. Thanks folks

They contacted me right after I purchased the coupon to schedule an appointment, which was three days after I purchased the Angie's List deal. Due to the snow, we had to reschedule. However, we had a home inspection scheduled and needed to complete it over the weekend. They fit us in the schedule, showed up promptly at the appointment time, and fixed the problem. They were very professional, fair and honest. Highly recommend!

I called Family Prestige Garage Door to fix a broken spring on my garage door and do a tune up. I called first thing in the morning and they were able to fit me in that day. They gave me a 3 hour window in the afternoon and arrived a little before that window. The technician was very friendly. We discussed what needed to be done and he answered my questions. They ended up replacing the spring and pulleys, tuned up the garage doors and replaced the rollers. They cleaned up when they were done (and even brought in our trash cans from the curb!). I had tried to purchase a "Big Deal" before I called Family Prestige. The purchase did not go through properly (due to technical issues Angie's List was experiencing). So, I did not have a coupon to give Family Prestige. There was a 10% off coupon on Angie's List, so I used that instead. After conversations with Angie's List support, they contacted Family Prestige after they worked on our garage to explain there was a glitch on their end and would Family Prestige honor the Big Deal. They agreed to apply the deal after the fact, which we really appreciate! Thank you!

We used them because they were highly recommended. The service was great. They were on time and very informative as to what work needed to be done. They did not try to oversell us on other items that could have been done. I was not pressured to purchase something I did not want.

The door had to be ordered from a company out of state which they did immediately. Once the door came in they scheduled a time for us within the week. They came early on Saturday morning and spent the better part of the day installing the new door. They explained to us that if we got the same type of door it would keep collapsing, so we opted for a newer stronger door which is much more secure. They were very courteous and answered all of our questions. They worked efficiently and there were no problems. He assured us if there were any problems that we could call them and they would fix it for us, and I have no doubt that they would.

They were so responsive and stayed until late on a Saturday afternoon to fix the door. After they had completed the repair and we were so pleased with it, we asked them to come back and replace both garage door opening systems. They ordered the parts and came back to install the new systems. They are very responsive. They return your calls very quickly and let you know if they are going to be late for a service call, so you know what to expect. They were a pleasure to deal with. Thanks, Jose!

Did a very good job and went out of their way to accommodate my schedule in spite of inconveniencing themselves. Highly recommend and would use again.

They took the extra time needed to fit the gasket at the bottom of the door to the floor which was not level (especially noteworthy since it was SO cold that day). I also appreciate that they did not try to up-sell me to options I didn't need or want. Would definitely hire again.

They came promptly, did a great job, and were very courteous . I definitely will use them again if I need additional service.

Caveats: I cannot recall the exact date of service or what it cost. I guessed. I had a coupon for the service, so the price might not be representative anyway. That said, I do remember that the man who provided the service was prompt, courteous, and efficient. He explained to me what he was doing. He repaired a chronic problem (an overhead light that would work when it was serviced, but then go out a few days later; now it works).

They set up an arrival window of between 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. They arrived at 10:06 which was after the time, but not by much. They worked quickly to make minor adjustments, tighten the chain which was very loose, and they lubricated the pulley components. I had two cars in the garage, and they were able to work around them. They indicated that my motor was going bad which may be expected for a 14 year old opener. But they did not try to sell me anything. The opener is working much better than it had been and I am very pleased with their work.

The job went extremely well. They clearly explained and what needed to be done, and the importance of getting the work done while they were onsite, as apposed to scheduling a new appointment and incurring the additional fees. The two-man crew was extremely professional, and even though it was quite cold outside, they took their time, and made sure the job was done correctly, and with care and attention to detail. They were very friendly and personable. I am very please with the work. The garage operates much smoother and quieter now. I would use, and recommend Family Prestige Garage Doors to anyone. Please Note: The only reason I rated them a 'B' for punctuality is because I had a service window of between 3 - 5PM, and they didn't actually arrive until about 5:20, just as I was about to place a follow up telephone call. The owner himself did the the work. He arrived on time, completed the work exactly as specified, and did a good job for a more than reasonable price. Furthermore, he was professional and friendly during our interactions, and I would definitely use the company again.

It went fantastic. I had the man who came out do a little bit more work and he was very good. He was a very amiable and professional guy. He did great work. I have no complaints. The door runs a lot better now even though it is probably about 15 years old as well as the motor. It sound like new. He is probably the least expensive among the garage door repair people around here. I would definitely use him again in the future if I need to.

Perfect service. All noises are gone from the garage doors.
