Responded quickly. Came on the first business day after my request. Identified the issue w/old spring. Gave me a quote for options to fix. I accepted the quote and the work proceeded with parts on the truck. Job was complete in less than two hours.

Mr. Nelson the sales representative appeared knowledgeable. However the price he quoted was 1/3 higher than GGD for the same product. He offered me a substantial discount for using Angie’s List and if I purchased a new opening mechanism he would not charge me for labor for installing the opener. Unfortunately, he inflated his estimateand used the supposed discount to close the sale. As stated above even with these supposed enticements. Nelson estimate was 1/3 higher GGD. Fortunately, I got the second estimate and avoided a very bad deal. I urge others not rely on this company’s pricing without at least one additional estimate. I did not ask Nelson to meet GGD’s price. I lost all confidence in Nelson and the Company he represents.

Technician observed and decided the existing door was in good condition and was operating properly. He lubricated it and offered to not charge for his visit. I insisted that I pay for a service call.

A spring on our garage door broke on Sunday, Dec 23rd. I called and left a message with the details and someone called me back in less than 15 minutes to schedule a repair visit. I asked how much more it would cost to have them come on a Sunday and it was only $20 more - he found a coupon that he could apply to my repair that kept it very reasonable. He showed up promptly, completed the work, and cleaned up the trash afterward. Very personable, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend and would definitely hire again.

Our garage door spring broke, which left us unable to even manually lift the door to get out. I called Family Prestige and explained the problem, which was exacerbated by the fact that I couldn't get my car out of the garage and I needed it for an appointment the next day. They sent technicians out that night. It cost slightly more because of the after-hours status, but even that fee was acceptably nominal. The technicians who arrived were incredibly courteous and professional. One diagnosed the issue as soon as he inspected the door, and he and his partner installed the new springs in less than an hour. All in all, it was an exceptional experience. I will be using Family Prestige for any future garage door needs.

The technician, Javier, was courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. He rapidly diagnosed the problem and gave me a choice between two service options - one to fix only the immediate issue, and one to both do that and also head-off possible long-term problems (the unit is 22 years old). I chose the cheaper option and he replaced a chewed-up plastic gear inside the unit. The unit now works like new.

It could not have gone any better. They arrived when they said they would, they had the necessary parts in their truck, they made the necessary repairs, replaced the weak counter springs, lubricated the rollers and were on their way within about an hour. Very professional, informative crew. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I was quoted $300-$400 over the phone. Once the contractor arrived , he quoted $779. Since we did not agree to getting ripped off , Contractor asked to be paid $150 for diagnosis (broken spring) . We were aware of $39 service or estimate fee; Finally paid $39 for nothing. Surprised that a company with 1000 good reviews can provide such a pathetic service. I got the work done from a different company for $325

Great experience. Though it wasn't an emergency, they had someone out within two hours. Friendly, professional service all-around. My garage door would not stay open when disconnected from the door opener, so thought I needed new springs. As it turned out, the technician advised that the springs were OK and just needed tension added. He was done in 20 minutes.

I called Family Prestige because they’d done work for us before. They were able to come 2 hours later and fixed it in about 45 minutes. Javier was punctual, friendly, and did a great job. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

Service was great. Vendor offered several options in type and cost. Quick and efficient work. Very happy with service evolution.

The company called twice to change the time. Once the man got here I got very uncomfortable when he tried to show me a picture of a child who died from a faulty garage door. I was so disgusted and uncomfortable by this sales tactic that I paid the service fee and had him leave.

To be honest, this company wasn’t going to be my first choice. However, I was impressed by their responsiveness (they were the first to call - long before the others). They sent a tech out the same day. The tech was a consummate professional—knowledgeable, informative and courteous). They were reasonably priced and didn’t once try to upsell us. I will call them first for any issues with our garage doors.

The sales manager showed up quickly and performed a quick diagnosis. He then scheduled the work immediately and the repair techs arrived a few hours later. They were very professional and took care of all the work needed. They even went above and beyond to correct some issues left by our previous garage door service company. The door operates very quiet and smoothly now. I would highly recommend and would use them again if we experienced any other issues.

Family Prestige Garage Doors worked on replacing my broken torsion spring and opener. I scheduled an estimate and they were able to come on the same day recommended what work needs to be done. They came the next day earlier 30 minutes than expected and finished on time. They keep you informed when you are coming. My opener is a lot quieter now upgraded from chain to belt drive. I would reuse their services and definitely recommended.

Jose came and examined the problem and was very professional. He replaced my keypad and offered me a 30 day warranty to ensure the problem is solved.

Once the Jose showed up, the problem was solved. He addressed the issue of the door being blocked by a warped board. He then focused on the maintenance door and adjusted any misalignment caused by the issue.
