Luis responded quickly to my inquiry and was very professional in both presenting options for door replacements and the installation itself. He and his assistant arrived at the scheduled time, worked without interruption, hauled away old doors, and cleaned work area up when done. Very friendly and professional at all times. I would not hesitate to use Family Prestige again and, based on my experience, recommend their service.

Installer arrived on time and was very professional. Explained the products that he installed and briefly went over how to install/program the accessories that came with the opener. The only issue I had was that I was not aware that I had to pay an extra $40 for the install because my home is new construction and they had to install additional components since the home did not have them already. I was fine with paying it because I understood that it required extra labor and materials, but I would have liked for that to be made clear ahead of time. I was told it was listed in the small print of the voucher but I must have overlooked it because I didn't see it. I would recommend them t friends/family and would use them again.

The service provider was prompt to the appointment time. He assessed the damaged door and provided a quote for the parts and labor necessary to fix the door. He also suggested a few items that should be replaced in the near term the increase function and prolong the door life and garage door opener life. I was pleased to know he came prepared with the parts to repair the door. I asked a lot of questions that he patiently answered. He completed the repairs I authorized. He also provided an excellent discount and tuned up the garage door at no additional cost. In the future, I would use his services again. Technician was knowledgable, professional, and very courteous.

The team arrived on-time and ready to go to work. When I purchased the opener at Home Depot the sales associate advised that I would not need the door extension given the size of my garage door. This turned out to be false, I was very glad that the installation crew advised me of the need for the extension bar. Technically they could've just done it the easy way, installed, and my garage door would hang about 7" lower than it was designed for. So while the guys assembled the new opener and unpackaged everything - I ran down the street to THD and purchased the extension rail. The guys installed everything quickly and efficiently. While they did not try to upsale any services to me, I did ask them if my door needed any particular maintenance as it is only four years old (but builders quality) - due to the excessive squeaking, I opted for one of the additional services the team was able to provide - lube/grease the garage door. The crew was super efficient and very knowledgeable about garage doors. Would definitely use again.

The service went fine. I paid significantly more for it. They could understand the cost for better grades. The clean up was good.

He was on time and very efficient. He did give me a friendly chastisement for not greasing the rollers and hinges every six months but it was done in a very professional and courteous manner.

I'm sure it went fine. My husband was here when they came. I do remember that there was additional pricing on the Big Deal price after they came. They fixed the garage door.

. Called for estimate for repair. Selected two vendors from Angie's list. This vendor had a prompt response and came out the next day. Firm owner came to personally go over what was needed. Made a great impression. Knowledgeable, courteous and communicates well. Fully listened to my needs and concerns. After a inspection of the entire system, multiple issues were identified and he fully went over options and costs. Repair was going to be more than I expected, but was not unreasonable. Asked what I wanted as an outcome. Very concerned about my complete satisfaction. Identified not obvious issues and allowed me to inspect problem areas. Showed the various causes and the resulting issues that made me call. That was very helpful and professional. Short story is - Springs worn, track bent, one motor burned out, bearings bad, cable pinched, sensor misaligned and seam damaged. Replacement considered, but I also wanted an upgraded door with insulation as the original door was builders grade was not sound or winter friendly. I decided to go with a more complete upgrade to both garage doors as a quick repair would only defer another replacement. Used Angie's list deal to save $. That was nice. Scheduled work to be done a week later as materials needed to be ordered from manufacturer. Crew was prompt and showed up at the agreed time. Work was very professional. Did a great job quickly. Completed all work in four hours. Estimate was accurate. Came back a few days after work completed to see if I had any issues or concerns. 1. Identified the source of problems. 2. Gave me a few options to address issues. 3. Made recommendations after I asked. Was up-sold, but gave me the result I wanted. 4. Work was very professional. My neighbors were very impressed. Two are having them do work (for same reasons as me) 5. Estimate was accurate. I am completely satisfied. I paid a little more, but I received great value from their work. I will use them again. .

They evaluated our garage door and opener system, replaced and lubed the rollers. Very professional. Arrived on time. Our door is much quieter now. Thanks!

It wa the day after we got 5 inches of snow and most things were closed due to bad roads. The contractor was there on time and did a great job.

Luis did a GREAT job! He didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need right now (a big no no for me). He explained why we needed to replace the pulleys and not just the rollers. Once we understood the need for more than we had originally requested, he quickly and efficiently took two very annoying doors and made them behave again. It is wonderful! No more shimmy! No more shaking! No more stopping part-way up! Yippee! They operate smoothly now. I cannot recommend this company, and this particular gentleman, high enough. I will happily use them again when the need arises.

As soon as he walked in he started to try to sell me on more extensive repairs and replacements. I told him I did not appreciate the sales tactic. It was not a pleasant encounter and I would not use them again.

VERY WELL. We noticed the motor on our opener was sounding louder, like it was laboring too much. We called on Saturday early afternoon and left a message with the company explaining the problem. We received a call back within less than an hour, and a commitment to arrive between 4-6pm that day. The tech called to let us know he was on his way. When they arrived, they were very friendly and courteous. He listened to the motor and looked at the age of the opener and determined it would need to be replaced at some point. NO PRESSURE at all to do it now, but he said it would need to be replaced at some point. I asked whether they could do it right then and he explained the two options. Given the price difference, we went with the upgraded option due to the extra features it provided. They completed the job in less than an hour. They cleaned up all the packaging from the new opener and left my garage as clean as it was before they arrived. The tech went out of his way to explain in detail all of the different features and options that the opener provided. I don't even feel the need to read the manual now! He took his time to make sure I was comfortable with everything he explained and was very friendly and personable. He said that we should probably have the rollers, tracks and rotors serviced at some point in the future, but did not try to encourage me to do this now, so I trusted his judgement that it should happen, but could wait. (again, no pressure at all to add on additional services I didn't need) I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them in the future when I need service on my garage door. He also gave me a nice discount when I mentioned Angie's List!

Responded to request in timely manner and showed up for appointment at agreed upon time. Installation was done as requested.

This was a $75 big deal purchase. They did a great job. I think the price was probably more, but I don't remember exactly what happened.

The service provider was punctual, polite, and informative. We love hiring small family businesses and these guys were awesome! Definitely recommend them.

Additional charge for alleged additional rollers. Did not state in the "fine details" that was a possibility. MOSTLY, stated needed A NEW GARAGE door opener and when i dispatched another company to install new opener, was told only few screws needed tightened and then opener worked fine!

They determined that the electric motor which raised and lowered the door was faulty. Their solution was to replace the entire door system for $5500. If the starter motor on your car fails, you don't have to buy a new car. Naturally I declined to accept their suggestion.
