Description of Work: I had a set of 6 dining room chairs that needed new fabric and padding as well as to be reglued. I provided the fabric which matched some I had used on other furniture in my house. I also had them strengthen the bottom of a small desk chair. They did an excellent job in a very timely manner. After they had completed those chairs, I took them an old rocker from my grandmother's house which really needed reglued and new cushions. I asked them to duplicate the worn out cushions I had. They loaned me fabric books although I ultimately bought something elsewhere. They did an excellent job and made some helpful recommendations in the process. They regularly communicated with me on all projects and I found them very easy to work with. They had been recommended to me and I would also recommend them.

+ -1 moreTERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. FURNITURE RETURNED WITH COURTS HELP AFTER 1 YEAR. Upholstery of antique sofa and armchair. Owner did not execute deep tufting and did not execute as per the oral and written agreement. He refused to return my furniture when after several months I filed a claim with the credit card to hold back the payment - since the owner after 3 months held on to my antique furniture, 28 yards for fabric imported from India and $2,600. Credit card was not in a position to return my furniture and evaluate the work agreement - this is done by the courts. To have my furniture returned I needed to go to court. Furniture were returned to me without deep tufting (the most critical requirement which I discussed with the owner several times prior to the start of work). Needed to consult other upholstery shop to get the work redone from scratch.

+ -1 moreThis big easy chair had been in the family for about 14 years, and had been in several of the family homes before it landed back in our living room. It was very comfortable, but not really a piece for the living room. We used an interior designer (Material Differences) to help us select the fabric and then EC and his gifted crew worked their meticulous magic. EC and his crew used all fabrics to their utmost advantage, specifically followed the designer's suggestions, and returned the chair, with a new cushion and a completely redone upholstery system and a new finish in just 3 weeks! We could not be happier. This is about the third job that EC has done for our extended family and each time, we are specially appreciative of how they respect the fabrics, producing a flawlessly tailored piece, each time.
Description of Work: We had a saggy, cat-scratched easy chair that needed a complete overhaul. E.C. and his talented crew turned that eyesore into a work of art for our living room
