Description of Work: Dove was able to diagnose a problem I have had with my HVAC for years that no one else was able to fix. They are a small shop and can't always be there as quickly as I would like, but their expertise is top notch and their techs are friendly and honest. I have tried many others and I can say that they really know what they are doing. They recently converted my heat pump system to gas.

Description of Work: My AC unit would not start. Dave (a.k.a. "Mr Dove") stopped by a couple of hours after I called. He said "lucky I was working in your neighborhood", but he does a lot of work in our neighborhood. So if you are in Arlington calling Dave is usually a good bet. He explained what probably happened and how to deal with it in the future. Nothing needed replacing so an inexpensive service call. We talked about how our old system will eventually need to be replaced, but not just yet. Dave has been my AC-guy for the last 12 years and has always provided great service.

Description of Work: I've been using Dove Heating for years. They are always professional and very helpful. Luckily, I've only had use them once to install and new unit Air Handler in my Condo balcony closet. They did it on a very cold day and within a day of losing my heat. This last visit was only for regular maintenance and checkup. All went well!

 + -1 moreDave came out at the agreed time to give me a third estimate on the above work. He said they they would install the six return ducts in front of the windows and doors, one in the bathroom and a return vent. Dove had the lowest price of the three bids. The other bids did not mention that the ducts would be places at the windows and doors but just in each room needed. Dave and Chris came within the two week time frame we agreed upon. All 6" ducts were installed as quoted. Job was done in less than four hours. They did a great job at a good cost savings.
Description of Work: Install seven supply ducts and one return in basement.
