Dinsmore Plumbing is the contractor sent out by Dominion Gas for a Home Protection Program that I am enrolled in for Water Line replacement. They called within 3 hours of my reporting the issue to Dolminion Gas and arranged to come out within 1 business day to access the situation and arrange with Dominion what needed to be done. Becuase it snowed, they came out 2 days later arriving early and got quickly got to work. Within 2.5 hours they had dug up the ground, found the leak and prepared a plan to fix it. They consulted me the entire way, showing me the leak and explaining what they were proposing to do. They finished the job within another 1.5 hours and returned my property so it looked no different than when they first arrived. Super job. Great workers. Can't say enough good things.

Although the cost initially seemed high it was comparable with other providers. The use of the mole to repair the damaged line meant minimal impact to my yard. Everyone else digs a trench through the yard to the find the leak and repair it.
Description of Work: Repaired water line between meter and home.

Done quickly (1/2 day) for a fraction of the cost of the other plumbers' estimates. Used a mole device between one small hole near the house and one small hole near the street meter and another hole in the crawl space. Did not need to dig up my entire yard with a backhoe and tear down my fence (like another plumber was going to do). Owner/operator Glenn Dismore did the work with one other plumber, He's very personable and professional. I'm surprised there are not more reviews for him on Angies site since he is a superb plumber for water line service.
Description of Work: Replaced my leaky copper water line with PE line from the street to the house connection in my crawl space. The water line was leaking.

They used a mole device to replace the piping under ground. They only had to tear up a small 1 x 1 foot piece of lawn. They were awesome, very prompt, clean, and efficient. I would recommend them as well as us them again.
Description of Work: They installed an outside line going from the house to the external water line coming from the street. They did a same day estimate.

Overall the job went very well. The plumber arrived as scheduled and performed the job exactly as explained at the initial meeting. The cost was as stated and the company offered a 10% discount for cash payments. After completing the job, the plumber cleaned up the garage and exterior and left the place in good condition. I hope you don't need to have your water service line repaired, but if you do, definitely consider this company.
Description of Work: I had my water service line repaired. Prior to selecting Dinsmore, I received a number of estimates and Dinsmore was by far the most economical estimate for the work needed. The job involved excavating inside my garage to expose the waterline and then connecting a new waterservice line from my main valve to the exterior water meter. It was a three day job as told upfront.

Dinsmore plumbing, having been recommended by a co-worker, gave us a quick estimate and came in over $2000 below the highest estimate. The work was started the day after I informed them that I would like the work done and completed two days later. The inspection was performed on the intervening day.
Description of Work: Replaced water service from meter to inside of house using 1" copper tubing using a mole to install new service line. Installed new 3/4" ball valve. Included county permit and inspection.

I called them to replace the water pipes, as they were plastic pipes. They have a technique of putting the copper pipe inside the plastic pipe without having to tear up the yard. They told me that it would be $1200 if there were no blockages and if they have to dig up the yard it would be $1800. Fortunately they did not have to dig the yard. They were very professional and they did a neat job. It did not look like they had done plumbing work there. They even explained the work they did to me. I recommend them highly.
Description of Work: They are my plumbers. They replaced the sewage portion in my previous house and called them when I moved to the new house, as I was very satisfied with their services.

Outstanding job and very nice work crew.
Description of Work: Dinsmore Plumbing replaced the water line (copper pipe) from the street up to our house. They did the job using a "mole" which dug a hole underground which saved us from having to dig up our yard or driveway. They were about $3000 to $4000 less than other estimates we got and the job was done in a day. They did have to cut a small hole in the drywall next to the water shut off valve, but it was a minor repair. They also dug two small holes in the yard where they had run the water line, but they replaced all the dirt, tamped it down and replaced the sod so you couldn't tell anything had been done.

The job was done very neatly, as they didn't leave any messes like the other companies around the neighborhood do. Everyone was pretty much having some flooding issues too but they used different companies than I did. The companies they used left a huge mess with the dirt everywhere and everything so I liked how they cleaned up after themselves. They were masters at it. I was very pleased.
Description of Work: He replaced the main water line because we had some flooding in the area. It was 3 feet wide and 4 to 5 feet down. They dug a hole at street level and ran the pipe through an old plastic pipe.
