Van came on short notice over the weekend. He was professional quick and clean. We were grateful he got back to us.

We waited for 1.5 hours for the consult in the heat in a house with no air conditioning. We called them multiple times and finally found out someone came but for some reason, I didn't hear them so they left (even though I was in the house the whole time). No one called us to see if we were in the house or called to follow up.

They came out to measure and install a frameless glass shower door. I had a recessed channel installed in the wall to make it look like the glass was coming out of the tile and it required a skillful and precise measure. I also went to their showroom before making final selections to see what they offered and they have a great selection of door styles and handles and hinges. The doors were installed today, they did an excellent job and they are really beautiful. Very responsive company, excellent experience overall.

It took about 4 weeks to get the glass install after the rep came out and measured and order was taken. The two guys who came out to install were pleasant and professional. We are beyond happy with the end result. I would certainly use them again and recommend this company.

We have used this company several times. They came and measured the job, called when they were ready to install, revved the old shower door area and replaced with exactly the type enclosed we wanted. They worked efficiently and cleaned up after themselves.

My experience with Del-Ray Glass was positive from the beginning. They followed through on their promises to send a quote within 2 days after giving a free estimate on the glass-repair, they showed up early to the appointment to fix the window, and they worked hard until the job was done (and it was tougher than the average bear). Their price was higher than my original budget, but after calling around several places, I discovered they were in line with basically everyone else. I would recommend this company to any of my friends. Good job, Kevin and Van!

We have used Del-Ray in the past and have been happy with their service. So, when we needed a new mirror for the bathroom they were the first company we called. We scheduled an appointment for Wed the 23rd of July at 2:00. The estimator, Efrem, arrived on time and he was very professional and pleasant. He stated that they were running a bit behind with installations but that he would get us an estimate within two days. By Friday afternoon the 25th, we had still not heard anything so I called the office ? no one answered the phone. The voice mail said ?a representative would be with you shortly? but no one ever answered and there didn?t seem to be a way to leave a message. Finally, still hearing nothing, I went to the store on Tuesday, the 29th. I was told that our salesperson was out but that he would call us after 4 ? he never did. On Wednesday, the 30th, we received a call from Del-Ray asking us about scheduling the estimator to come to our home. I explained that we had already had an estimate and that we were waiting for a proposal. The representative was very apologetic and said that she would connect us to Efrem who was in the other room. She transferred the call, but no one answered so I ended up having to leave a voice mail. As I have not heard from Del-Ray as of August 3rd, I have now found another company to help us and we will not be patronizing Del-Ray again.

We needed to replace a fogged double pane window. We called Del Ray Glass which has done similar work for us in the past. We were very satisfied with their work in the past. An estimator came to our home on a Friday to measure the glass. He was on time and professional. He said he would provide an estimate on the following Monday or Tuesday after which we could give them a deposit and order the replacement window to be made. We heard nothing on Monday or Tuesday. On Wednesday I sent an email and left a voicemail message with the estimator. Heard nothing. The next day I called the main phone number for Del Ray Glass and spoke with someone who said he didn't understand why the estimate was not done. He said he would see the estimator within an hour and get an estimate to us immediately. Another week has gone by and we have heard nothing. We have now contacted another company to replace the fogged window.

They did a nice job, and it looks good. Price seemed comparable to other sources, and the installer definitely worked to make sure it was installed carefully and correctly.

One of the pieces of glass was quite large (24"x32"), and we had to transport them on two buses to get them home. I don't know if we would have gotten them there safely, if it had not been for the man at Del Ray Glass, who found extra styrofoam and cardboard and helped pack the glass into my portfolio case as well as possible so we were able to carry it. It STILL wasn't easy... but he made it POSSIBLE! :)

I was given a date , window of time,and the name of the estimator, Thomas Graham. The representative never showed in the time frame nor called. I called after giving him 15 minutes outside the time frame and was told her was 5 minutes out. Thirty minutes later, the estimator still had not shown up. I called Del Ray Glass to cancel the appointment. If they handle a customer this was at the beginning, I can only imagine how challenging the purchase and installation process could be.

Extremely professional work. They used high quality materials. Very pleased with the results.

When I was researching to have a large glass pane in a condominium window to be replaced I used angie's list to search for window repairs. As not alot of companies just do replacement of a single pane vs an entire window....I was actually referred to Del-Ray Glass by one of the window companies I contacted through Angie's list. Del-Ray Glass was extremely easy to work with....I contacted them via email and they setup an estimate appointment for me. The estimator came promptly on the day of the appointment was professional and knowledgeable and was in/out of my place within 10-15 minutes. He informed me that I would receive an estimate within a day or two and that if I wished to move forward the manufacture of the glass was about 10 days. Two days later I received my estimate and it was very competitive in price and almost exactly what I expected for such a repair. I contacted the office that I wished to move forward and all I had to do was sign the estimate and fax or email it in to them. I then had the choice to mail in a check or call in a Visa/MC for 1/2 the estimated cost. (Sorry....No AMEX here). Once again...the company was very responsive to my email requests and provided answer to any questions I had. I was informed that manufacture of the glass would take 10 days and that I would receive a call to setup the appointment for repair. I chose to call in and set it up myself to expediate the process about 9 days later. The repair appointment went smoothly.....they arrived on time and went right to work. The old glass was removed and the new pane was put in place within 30 minutes. So far the glass is great and the installation looks seamless.....They even repaired a small issue I had which I hadn't even mentioned where the sliding window would not close entirely leaving a small 2mm gap where I could hear wind and air noise. The window is now perfect. A great company to work with from start to finish.....I will definitely work with them again and highly recommend them for those who live in the city and require replacement of old condominium glass panes.

Requested a quote to replace a broken window in our home. After setting an appointment, the estimator called both the day before and the day of the appointment to request an earlier time to come to our house. While he did arrive promptly for the scheduled appointment, the representative was essentially unavailable - there were no options or other types of information given and the only question answered was "when can we expect to hear from you with our quote?' We were told that he would call us the next day. We heard nothing until an email 4 days later with a quote. We were never given our 'options' for repairing the window (or told if we had any or none), and no information other than the price was given in the quote. The quote did state that the customer was responsible for "any damage". Essentially, what options (if any) were not given, information on the products and service we would be getting with the quote provided was not provided, and an emailed PDF 4 days after a visit to our home is not the promised next day phone call we expected.

They were reliable and prompt. I got other bids and they were competitive. I chose them because I had used them before. The price was fair and it was a good price.

I called Del-Ray in late December based on reviews on Angie's list. As it turned out, they were the ideal contractor since they had installed the spray panel that I wanted moved. They came out twice to measure and provided an estimate for moving the spray panel and for the fabrication and installation of a frameless glass shower door and replacement double-glazed window. I was told that the shower door and window would take two weeks to fabricate, after which they would contact me to schedule installation. After not hearing from them for nearly four weeks, I called them. They said that the door and window were done and we arranged for installation the following day. The installation crew consisted of an experienced mechanic and two younger (less experienced) men. The work took about two hours. I would judge the shower door installation to be OK, but the handle of the shower door hits the side of the shower enclosure when nearly fully open (something that they had specifically anticipated and expected to be able to avoid by careful placement of the door handle). The caulking around the fixed spray panel was adequate, but somewhat sloppy. The work done on the replacement of the double-glazed window was only fair. I provided new wood trim (as I was told when the measurements were taken), but the mechanic reinstalled the old trim instead, which was badly cracked in one place, and mangled in other areas. There are gaps that were not caulked properly.

They were very accommodating of my schedule. I would suggest that others thinking about using this company call them instead of email. Once I made contact with them they emailed very well; I got my quote electronically and signed my authorization by email; which was nice. When we needed to make the initial call and needed confirmation as to when the person was going to come look at the job we had to call. I was not home when they did the work.

Bright and cheerful showroom. Helpful and professional service. Ordered the glass and it came in when they said. They were sweet to my child and helped me carry the glass to the car. No issues whatsoever. I thought it was a little pricey, but it was cheaper then the one the place i called. So I suppose glass is just pricey.

I called Del Ray glass because we had broken glass in the stationary panel of our sliding glass door. When they came to give an estimate, I also had him run estimates on replacing glass in two sliding window panels that had broken seals (some condensation inside). The estimator was professional and responsive. It took 4-6 weeks to get the glass in - no quick fix for broken windows here. The crew came on time as scheduled. They ended up having some trouble with the sliding glass door, as it was apparently a wood frame rather than metal like they're used to, and the door panel in question was very firmly affixed in place, so they had some trouble removing it to get the new glass in. They ended up calling in for help and the man who did the estimate showed up to assist. It was touch and go and I was a bit nervous at points, but they got it done and over a year later everything is still great. As an aside, the window panels were installed in a jiffy in the original metal frames, and they included the little white "colonial" squares to match the original window style. Overall, very good experience.

I called, gave them the measurements of the window, they provided an estimate which I thought was fair. I dropped it off on Friday and picked it up on Monday afternoon. They were professional and helpful. I would use them again.

Totally unimpressed with Del Ray Glass & Mirror. They had come recommended and I waited to be able to use them despite the fact that they were very busy. I had to replace a small 4"x10" tempered glass pane in my front door. It took them 2 days to come out to measure. It then took them 9 - yes, NINE! - days to get me an estimate. From there it takes a while for a piece of tempered glass to be special ordered and delivered. Since they took so long getting an estimate to me, I asked that they make my order a priority. After all I had been living with a piece of cardboard taped to my front door for 3 weeks. The technicians showed up late, tried nailing splintered wood back into place and left glass shards on the floor of my entryway. I don't know why it is so difficult to provide good customer service, but it seems like it is in scarce supply these days.

Everything looks great, they are very professional and great to work with. We had a tiny scratch on the glass panel, which we found after they left. It was very difficult to find and we didn't see it till we cleaned the glass. Del Ray came back out and were able to polish it out. They stand by their work and were very responsive.
