Description of Work: The crew that was sent to perform the job was excellent, on time clean and very professional. I would recommend Cyprus air and will be using them for future A/C work at my home.

Description of Work: Installed new HVAC system. It went well. It was 2 gentlemen, one older and one younger and they were both very professional and knew there trade. The job took almost 6 hours but I guess that's too be expected. I would use them again.

Description of Work: The extra cost was for the gas line. The line had to go from the middle of the back of the house to the side where the chimney is located.

Description of Work: They first quoted me a price for a gas conversion job, after having visited my home three times. They got me to start the procedure with Washington Gas and failed to return my calls requesting updates for several weeks. Then all of a sudden they said that the estimator that had provided me with the estimate had been fired because he was not capable and that they had to revise the estimate by 40 percent! |I was outraged as I thought that I should not be made liable for any errors / mistakes made by their employees but they would not hear any of it. I decided to use another company and that was the best decision I have ever made!

Description of Work: We purchased 3 gas fireplace inserts with installation. Only glitch was miscalculation of building code area/cube in one room. Cyprus swapped in a smaller, less expensive unit that was equally attractive and provided a refund. An annoyance for sure, but handled very professionally.

Description of Work: We had just purchased a home and planned to replace the 12+ year old A/C and original 1965 furnace. Cyprus replaced my furnace and A/C unit with a furnace and heat pump. Their sales rep gave me an objective assessment of the pros and cons of the models I was considering and provided a proposal for the work. Their price was much lower than one estimate I received, and competitive with another estimate I received. | |During the installation the foreman told me our duct work was one of the dirtiest he had seen in 20+ years in the business, and urged us to have it cleaned with haste (he wasn't selling a service..."I don't care who you have do it, but for the safety of your family you MUST clean your air ducts!"). | |Following the installation, the foreman handed me a bill that included $600 of unanticipated labor expenses. I protested over not being notified of the extra expense prior to the work being initiated, and they accepted the (initial) price on the sales contract. | |I am happy with the service they provided and would recommend them.

Description of Work: These Techs were Great. They provided the lowest quote( I called 3 other guys for price comparison) Came by on the time as scheduled and finished the work quickly.

Description of Work: We have an HVAC Maintenance agreement with Cyprus Air, and it is Great! They come change my filters, start up my HVAC units, and come when I need them.

Description of Work: I called at 10:30 am, got a call from the emergency tech within 15 minutes, he arrived a half hour later, and the heat was on in 15 minutes.

Description of Work: Called them on a Sunday (memorial day) at about 5:30pm because my A/C broke. To my surprise a young man answered and told me he would try his hardest to get someone out here tonight and if not tonight by 10am the following day (monday). i thought oh well he'll be here tomorrow. At 8:45pm my phone rang and it was a Cyprus air technician that said he was in route, and at 9:15pm a big blue Cyprus air truck pulled up and the technician came to my door. by 10pm he was gone and my a/c was beginning to work. he only charged me $89 for the service call at 9pm and an additional $250 to fix. i was so pleased i signed up for the maintenance agreement. I will definitely be recommending this company.

Description of Work: As a Realtor handling an Estate Sale, I had the technician come out to assess possible problem with propane gas log fireplace insert. Technician fired up system and when system cut off automatically, he said that the entire fireplace log set had to be replaced at a cost of $2,400. Seller then contacted company that installed fireplace logs and they came out and discovered that there was a loose wire causing the shut-off. Cost to repair was $250+/-. Technician was abrupt and didn't seem to want to explore all possible areas for problem. As a Realtor, I will never recommend them to any client.
