They did a great job and actually exceeded my expectations for cleaning and grooming the yard. I asked them for a quote for leaf removal and annual maintenance because they impressed me so much with their workmanship. I've hired them and they performed 3 leaf removals during the fall. They were very good about coordinating to ensure they cleaned the yard before the Arlington County vacuum truck passed through. I gave them a B for price as I don't know what others would charge for similar services. I can say that the initial deal I got for the mulching was a VERY good price.

The workers arrived promptly, acted professionally, and took care to protect my carpets and furniture as they moved materials, both old and new, through the house. The finished work is excellent, and I was pleased with the crew's diligence and craftsmanship.

They arrived no time (actually were early), were respectful of the property, did a great job and took pride in the work they were doing. They stayed longer than I would have expected to be sure everything was done just so. The team did a great job, the lawn looks good and is ready for winter. I would definitely consider hiring them again. I had to change the appointment, and they were responsive to the message I left, and confirmed the change in date. Very satisfied all around.

Did a great job. Were very professional, showed up on time for the walk through of what we wanted done, came on the day they said they would to do the work. Completed the work while i was at work but did every thing well. Came home to a job well done.

We did not use them for snow removal although they do that. They're great. They're not the cheapest and not the most expensive, quality makes up for it. They're very responsive to any issues that we bring up. If they don't apply that day, they apply it on the next one. I would use them again.

Fabulous, really transformed my shabby back yard area into a tidy, defined and mulched landscaped yard. Also spread mulch under trees. Employees worked very hard, listened to my wishes, and were polite. Scheduling was easy and performed work on time and on the day scheduled.

Brian from Cutting Edge Lawn & Landscaping, LLC was extremely responsive when communicating. He came out to survey the yard before the work to confirm that 5 cubic yards would cover what we wanted. The work was performed yesterday and we couldn't be happier. Very professionally done. The beds and plants look great. The mulch is spread perfectly. The cleanup of clippings, and mulch is perfect. Again, we couldn't be happier. They are highly recommended. We will be keeping their number handy for future work. A++++++

Overall pleased with the work performed; the crew did a nice job, they were professional, efficient and competent. Final product looks great. Communication during project implementation could have been a bit better; for example around scheduling information/updates, or about project details. Project was finished with slight delay due to unavailability of the raw materials (pavers). Fair price. Would hire company again.

Extremely well. Was very happy with Kevin and his team. They were there with us every step of the way, from the initial contact to choosing the stone from their facility to the actual work. Project took only a few days and was expertly done. They put stone down in our approx 17'x17' patio area with an 18" border of grass-like plants. We are very pleased with the result, it's elegant-looking and simple to maintain. Would recommend Cutting Edge very highly.

Kevin, the owner is a really nice guy who walked us through our options. We were able to look at color samples and block choices at Cutting Edge's offices in Alexandria. It took a while to get started as they had many projects in the queue ahead of our patio project. The project went well and was completed quickly and professionally, once started. It really completes the look of our back porch/patio area. We would use them again and would consider adding a pathway to the patio.

The company was hired originally to help solve a water pooling problem next to the main retaining wall. What was accomplished was a much improved front yard both visually and structurally. I found that the managers as well as the work crews were very responsive to my concerns. As the work progressed minor modifications needed to be made and they all ensured that I was satisfied.The quality of the work was outstanding and I have recommended the company to many friends.

Kevin arrived at scheduled time for estimate. He promptly emailed detailed quote. I was notified the day before work was to be done. Crew arrived on schedule. Beautiful new walkway in one day.

Kevin and his team were great to work with. Everyone was very responsive and extremely professional. Kevin quickly came out to give us an estimate and kindly provided samples of materials. The crew arrived on time and were very professional. They finished the project in a single day and left the place looking impeccable. They even replanted some of our plants that had to be moved for the project. The project turned great and looks even better than I had visualized.

When we were looking to overhaul our back yard we were overwhelmed with how much needed to be done since the yard had been neglected for over 20 years and was in need of major repairs. The biggest issue we needed to resolve was erosion which was occurring in two areas. One was an 8' hill that splits the two elevations of the back yard. The other area was on the upper half of the yard where it was washing out into the woods located behind the lot. The next issue we needed to resolve was overhauling the landscaping since there was nothing but rock, dirt, roots and weeds left due to the decades of neglect and erosion. Because of the size of the problems that needed to be addressed we decided to hire someone to design the solution and put it in. One thing I look for when searching for a contractor is how engaged they are when giving the quote and how well they listen to my concerns. After meeting with several contractors Kevin was easily the most engaged and professional of them all. The design and explanation of everything that would be involved in the project led me to choose them to perform the work. As part of the project I had to use a separate contractor to install my fence which had to be done in conjunction with the installation of one of the retaining walls Cutting Edge installed. Cutting Edged worked closely with the fence contractor and ensured both jobs were completed successfully. Once again relieving me of any worries. In the end Cutting Edge helped completely transform my yard from a waste land to a beautiful landscape. Johnny and company helped calm my jitters when I was getting overwhelmed with the size of the project. By the time they were finished I had a new 70+? stone retaining wall, 90+? timber retaining wall, several tons of river jack and top soil installed. I cannot recommend Cutting Edge enough based on their professionalism and the quality of their work.

Overall, they showed up when they said they would and did what they said they would do. "Taco" their head bricklayer/mason on the job clearly is very experienced and takes pride in what he does. We had a little bit of an issue with how the brickwork was addressed around the water manhole cover (a tricky application) but John came out and brainstormed about how to approach it and made it work. Kevin in the office knows his stuff and was very responsive to any of my queries/issues. Love what they have done and will have them back to do some other work in the fall.

The company contacted me promptly upon buying the deal. The business manager came out and went over work and the choices of paver stones. The crew arrived on time on the agreed upon day of work. They were professional and courteous. The quality of work was good as well. I have not observed any issues with the patio.
