Pete Crouch, the realtor, has moved on to the company Keller Williams. He still checks in us even though we bought our home about 4 years ago! He’s a really great guy and I’ve referred some friends and coworkers to him. From what I’ve heard, they also had nothing but a good experience with Pete.

We found Pete as a suggestion from a close friend. My husband has just taken a job in the Northern Virginia area and I was still looking, however we knew that we wanted to purchase a home rather than rent. At the time, we were living in Charlotte, North Carolina and reached out to Pete via email for help. Pete started by putting us in touch with several different individuals to assist in securing a mortgage loan. Next, he asked us for what we were looking for in a house and began to send us listings that fit the bill. We only had about two days to physically look at homes and Pete happily agreed to work with us on a Saturday and Sunday. He spent the weekend showing us various homes in the area. I had expected a real estate agent to be extremely pushy and to not give you much time to think on your own, but Pete was the opposite. If we arrived at a house and decided that it wasn't for us just from the exterior, Pete said we didn't have to go in. When we walked around the interior of these homes, Pete let us explore by ourselves and at the end of each exploration would give us his own pros and cons. As we were real estate virgins this was extremely helpful. He noticed so many things that we never even thought of. At the end of our whirlwind weekend of house hunting, we had our favorites and left things at that while I returned home (the husband stayed in Virginia to start the new job) and continued to search for a local job. We had decided which house we were interested in putting an offer on, however I had not yet secured a job which meant no mortgage loan yet. Pete knew what we were interested in and the day someone else put in an offer for our house, he immediately called us. Fortunately I had landed a job that day and we were able to get the ball rolling with a counter offer. Pete looked out for our best interests in putting together the offer and following in through to the end. We were dealing with my husband in the area, me in North Carolina, a mortgage lender in Illinois, and Pete handled it all gracefully. He kept information moving appropriately between all involved parties and didn't skip a beat. He was always available for questions and couldn't have been nicer. Closing went off without a hitch and my husband and I are happily living in our new home. There is no way we could have done any of this without Pete. He put us completely at ease, was a pleasure to work with, and still follows up to make sure things are going well. We couldn't have asked for a better real estate agent and would gladly recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a home in Northern Virginia.
