Cosmos replaced the AC condensation pump in my rental property. They were very professional and honest. I will continue to use Cosmos in the future with my personal home needs and rental property. They are extremely trustworthy and honest and as a result, I experience a peace of mind when I hire them.

Job well done. Very easy scheduling, they were able to come very quickly for a non emergency tune up. George and Carlos called to inform me that they were stuck in traffic but still arrived within in quoted time window. They were polite and respectful of our home, putting on booties evrytime they entered. They were very thorough in their inspection and work. We have an old system but we were assured it is still doing the job. It is refreshing to have a company come and not try to upsell at every turn while still being very informative about our systems potential future issues. I will be using Cosmos for all of our heating and cooling issues moving forward and we have already told friends about them and will continue to do so in the future. He was friendly, patient and very helpful. I initially set up an appointment for someone to come to the house but I received a call back from them a few minutes later asking me to check a few things out first and he would talk me through these checks. Well the checks revealed the cause of my issue! They are great and so honest.

Cosmos cleaned the AC system, checked the freon pressure, replaced the filter and took apart and cleaned the pump that pushes the excess water from the evaporator to the deep sink. Gus (I think that's his name - owner's son) was accompanied by another technician (sorry I can't remember his name). Both were the most outstanding professionals I've ever had service our AC, hence the reason I use Cosmos perform this service each year. I also had Cosmos perform the annual maintenance at my rental home, which is just a block away. In fact, my renter also commented (unsolicited) on how impressed he was with Cosmos and the techs. Bottom line, these guys are competent, display outstanding character, and are very professional. Hiring Cosmos gives me peace of mind each year - they are the real deal!

Everything was great - always on time and very communicative. No surprises or gotchas or extra cost. They also looked into some temporary solitons while we were waiting a couple days for the unit to arrive (we opted for a Carrier they didn't have in stock). We might have been able to find a better deal with a lot of hunting, but we were more interested in speed and quality.

Gus from Cosmos called as he was on the way to my house and let me know that he was on his way and arrived on time. As we have recently moved into our home, I had a lot of questions about how our HVAC system worked. Gus answered all of my questions thoroughly and then took care of all of the maintenance items that were included in the service. He was in and out quickly, in about 50 minutes, Excellent service!!

It went great! Arrived on time. He was professional and friendly. Happily will use there services in the future for our HVAC. I like how they are a small family run business.

Gus and George were fantastic. They arrived on time. They diagnosed a 30 year old unit in my condo. Explained what the issue was and actually got it up and running. They actually knew what they were doing and were very thorough in their approach. I was very happy with the work performed. Would highly recommend.

I was woken up by a crazy loud clanking noise in the house. Turned out to be my furnace. Its a very very old gas furnace (radiator heat) and I was freaked out just thinking about the cost of possibly replacing it. I contacted two companies through angies list first thing in the morning and Cosomos got back to me with in an hour (for the record, the other top rated company never got back to me). I cannot remember the gentleman's nme who called me, but he understood the problem, asked for me to send him some pictures of the furnace (so he knew what parts to bring) and he put me on the schedule for 1pm the same day even though I was a little out of their territory. I couldn't believe it. He and an assistant showed up on time, were very nice, and fixed the furnace under an hour. It was well worth the money I paid. I do not know if it was over priced or a good deal, but for as quickly as they responded and how professional they were, I'm glad to support this company.

I called Cosmos for a second price quote on a replacement boiler after another company told me my current unit could not be repaired and needed to be replaced. Long story short, Cosmos had my old boiler up and running in 45 minutes. I would not hesitate to recommend this company. Very positive experience with Cosmos.

Of course, our water heater chose Friday, Christmas day 2015, to spring a leak and need replacement. The early next morning, I phoned local HVAC/pluming firms in the area that had ?A? ratings on Angie?s List, and that listed that they were open on Saturdays. On this Saturday after Christmas, most were not. But I did get quotes on delivery and installation from four local firms including from COSMOS Heating and Cooling. COSMOS gave me the lowest cost for the exact same water heater plus installation. Other quotes were up to 71% higher than COSMOS?s quote! Plus, while other firms said that I would have to wait until Monday or make an appointment for even later in the week, the COSMOS guys told me that they could get my water heater from their supplier literally within minutes and install it right away. And that?s what they did. Two nice guys arrived at our house, covered my hardwood floors and carpeting in order to protect them, drained and removed my old unit, installed the new one, and ensured that it was working properly. They even cleaned up every tiny dribble of water that was on my basement floor. There is a reason why they keep getting service awards?they earn them. COSMOS is truly stellar.

Exceptional job, removed 20 yrs of dust and building residue from when house was built. Took 6 hrs to work thru both sides of 3 systems (return and supply). Arrived on time, cleaned up after - very happy customer.

I found their name on Angie's List. I called them and set up an appointment. They came on the day specified and looked at the work to be done. They gave me a price that was acceptable - as I had two other companies who had been out and provided quotes that were not acceptable. They told me that they had to order the specific unit and about how long it would take. After about a week, they called back and said they were ready to install the unit. They came on the day agreed and they brought drop cloths to keep from putting used equipment on our daughter's new hardwood floors. They were careful not to track dirt and debris all through the unit. They came prepared with all the equipment needed. They installed the unit and tested it . Everything worked fine. They completed the job in about four hours and they were done. They swept up and cleaned up before they left. We are extremely satisfied with Cosmos' work. We are recommending this company to others in the building who may need to replace the same unit.

My AC works but doesn't provide the desired temperature. I needed a second opinion on what's wrong with it and how to fix the problem. It was easy to make an appointment, and receptionist was pleasant and polite. I've purchased the $48 diagnostic with unlimited time deal for Angies List customers. The technician arrived on time, with younger assistant in his tow. I explained the reason of the call to the technician, showed him my attic and left him do his job. Shortly, he asked me where my electric panel is. I showed him. Not long after this, he came back and proposed an expensive upgrade of my entire AC system (AC unit, coils, furnace etc). After listening to his reasons, I've made a comment that all professionals I dealt with before assured me I didn't need a bigger unit and my furnace was fine. He became visibly upset and started yelling that he's the experienced professional who knows his craft very well. I asked him to stop yelling and calm down. He then presented me with this $200+ bill and said that the charge is for the fuses he had to change, and for further diagnostic. I was astonished. First of all, my AC was working before they came, so obviously, the fuses were fine. Second, before the work is done, you're supposed to secure the owner's agreement, especially knowing that the visit is not about fuses! Third, the diagnostic was pre-paid! To that he said, that he will subtract $48 from the actual diagnostic charge, and I have to pay the balance. I said it's not going to happen, and called the office, explaining the situation to that same pleasant receptionist. She talked to the guy, and then tried to convince me that he didn't yell at me (just explained!), and my fuses were dead, indeed. I refused to pay more that $50 (the fuses cost), and send them on their way. The nice receptionist assured me that I will soon get an estimate for the proposed AC system change, but I've never heard from them again. This visit cost me $98 + my very precious time and was totally useless.

I want to say the service guy was on time coming out to my home he was nice it took him a very short while to find the problem that I had with my furance .They are very honest but a little high on the parts but they are willing to work with there costumers I will be calling them again and remind them to any one.

They arrived on time, conducted a diagnostic check on the system, explained a noise, found the cause and did not charge extra or try to pretend that they "fixed" something. They informed me that some cardboard from the filter I installed was catching the fan, making some noise. They removed the pieces and informed me that the system was running fine and did not need any additional services.

It went great. They did a very thorough job, and helped me determine all that was wrong with my units. I trust this company. They are friendly, fair, and good at what they do. They also installed an A/C unit for me last summer (2014). I have the utmost confidence in them. Thank you Cosmos

A/C stopped working on the hottest day of the year thus far. I was thankful to find a highly rated provider on Angie's List that provided 24/7 emergency service. George answered my initial call and ended up arriving to the house within about 2 or so hours of our initial contact, which was great. He was professional, took his time to diagnose and address the issue, was responsive to my questions, and did a pretty thorough job. Although the work was good, I can't see myself going back to these guys because of their price gouging. $150/hour seemed a bit high for labor, but it this was impromptu service on a Sunday afternoon, so I didn't have much of a problem with that. However, George charged me $150 for a thermostat that I would later discover retails for about $50 bucks, so they likely got it cheaper than that. What's worse is that I noted that charge on the invoice and asked him if the thing really costs anywhere close to $150 and he said yes. I expect an upcharge on those things, but 300% is ridiculous and he shouldn't have been underhanded about it when I asked. He also charged $10 for a $0.50 little PVC coupler. It would be a different story if George was just some employee beholden to prices set by the company, but Cosmos is a father/son operation of which he is the son. It's really too bad, because again, he was otherwise professional and the work was good. I'll probably be looking elsewhere in the future.

I called Cosmos after having another provider give me a quote that sounded unreasonable and the provider refused to provide a detailed estimate, needless to say, I was uncomfortable having such a big job done without any real documentation! I got Gus after 5 o'clock on a Tuesday and he came out the next morning. His quote for the same job was less and he broke down the costs for me (his quote was less than the other provider), and recommended replacement of the unit (something I knew would be needed soon) for just a little bit more. The pricing was still less than the original provider and Gus was very up front about what was wrong, what needed to be done, and how much it would cost. He came out the next day and replaced the unit (early to both appointments). Also, Gus was just really great to deal with. Very courteous, very nice. Will use them again for sure!

This is my 3rd or 4th time to have Cosmos come out to our home, and I was just as pleased this time as always. George was peasant, prompt and quick to diagnose and fix the problem. He also helped me get the best deal on the filters I needed for my unit as well as a new door, and explained how to install - and said to call if we need help installing. I continue to recommend Cosmos to friends looking for HVAC service - they are great.

We were thrilled by the service provided by Cosmos. Both the owner AND his son were wonderful, and the son was the one who came over and fixed our A/C. Our A/C stopped working early on a hot Sunday morning. We called Cosmos, and they picked up the phone right away. Our first interaction was with the owner, who tried to walk us through fixing the problem over the phone (free of charge). When replacing the fuse he suggested didn't work, his son came over (within an hour) and diagnosed the issue as a busted capacitor. He replaced the capacitor and cleaned both our outdoor unit and the air handler in our attic in under an hour. He also suggested a different type of air filter that would make our system more efficient. Both the owner and his son were professional, responsive, knowledgable, and incredibly helpful. We will not hesitate to contact Cosmos for any future HVAC needs.
