Your original request was unrelated to HVAC. Your request was to install a range hood with exhaust pipe in your kitchen, but that is totally unrelated to our services. We are willing to do such things when the busy season ends because we get emergency calls every day in dangerous heat index, and especially the elderly and those who have newborns and children. We put in 15 hour days and requests like yours do not get priority service. Giving an F rating for something we do not practice is wrong and it could have been different if you just picked up a phone and called us directly as all customers do.

Fabulously!
Description of Work: I needed bulbs for the uv systems in the heater to prevent and remove mold. George installed the backend bulb for mold removal and is still looking for the front end bulb. I also need a new filter, which he is waiting until he installs the bulb.

Given the fact that your B rating for price is in your opinion, we don't feel like we over priced our job. A written estimate was given to you before we do a replacement or repair and you agreed on the price, so the B rating is a surprise. We only do repair jobs fair and honestly, and if you had any doubts on the price, you could have easily said NO to the repair and I would have been on my way. However, even though at the end when I finished cleaning up and give you the final bill and your wife came out screaming at me, I really do appreciate your positive review after all she said and threatened to do. Description of Work: We needed to have a thermostat moved approximately 8 inches on our dining room wall. We got estimates from other contractors for $300-$400. (I usually consider the higher estimate to be the one I will actually be charged.) Cosmos came in at $275 to $300, so I went with them. Not only was their service excellent, but when the job was done I was told that since the work did not take as long as expected, they would only charge me $185. Very impressive!!! I would totally use them again and recommend them to others.

We requested a diagnosis of our fan not turning on when the unit was supposed to turn on. After a few minutes of diagnosis Gus fixed the problem and and saved us several thousand dollars on a new unit. Two other techs indicated the unit was not salvageable and not only did Gus fix it he only charged me for a visit. I was pleasently surprised to say the least not to mention I think he might be one of the most genuine and sincere people I have ever met. I will not use anyone other than him for these services moving forward. Thank you Gus!

I wanted someone to come that day to fix it. It went quite well. I can't judge the price I paid; it seemed like a lot but he did come on a very hot Saturday. I'm sure he had a lot of other people scheduled so I expected to pay somewhat of a premium. He was very thorough and explained what he was doing. He explained what the problem was and maintenance that I could do to prevent it down the road.
Description of Work: I used Cosmos Heating & Cooling because one morning I discovered a leak in my a/c furnace combination unit in my house.

It was a holiday, but I got an appointment the same day when I wanted it. The serviceman was punctual, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. It was a very good experience.
Description of Work: Our heat wasn't working. The serviceman came and quickly found the problem (a broken part), had a replacement part in his truck, and replaced it. Presto: heat!

They were very prompt and courteous when they came for their service call. They explained everything and the prices before they did any work. They also cleaned up very well before they left.
