excellent timely service. great professionalism

I have been without AC since last Thursday. After several attempts at retaining the services of a contractor ("we don't work on condos"), I found Gus with Cosmos International, Inc. What a God's send! Despite his hectic schedule, he found the time to squeeze me in. Accessing my AC blower motor, etc. was a bit of a challenge as the Belle View condos are retrofitted with AC/heating units. However, Gus immediately knew what to do and two hours later, my AC is running again!!! He explained why the unit had stopped running (a relay!). He checked all components of the unit to make sure there were no pitfalls. The charge was more than reasonable. Gus and his son (I believe it was his son) are extremely professional and pleasant. Going forward, I will certainly call them again for any preventive maintenance. I am extremely relieved that the cost for the repair wasn't astronomical which is what I had feared. Best company ever!!!!

I strongly recommend Cosmos. They have been doing the annual check-ups on my ancient Hydrotherm gas-fired boiler heating system and somewhat newer Carrier A/C system for the past five years. I have been very impressed with their professionalism, integrity, reliability and quality of service. Their check-ups are thorough and have turned up a few minor items for repair. Their fees are very reasonable, and they have never tried to sell me additional services, parts or replacements. This year, for the first time, on a very cold winter night, my heating system came to a (literally) screeching halt. Gus and William showed up promptly the next day, immediately figured out the problem, took the time to explain it to me, got the replacement part, installed it and cleaned up the debris within an hour. In addition to being extremely efficient, Gus, George and William are courteous, appropriately humorous, and a pleasure to deal with. I will certainly turn to them again for any work on my heating or cooling systems.

Cosmos replaced an aging furnace with a new Carrier. George and crew were punctual, professional and they really know their craft. I am very happy with the unit as well as the work. I enthusiastically recommend Cosmos and I have complete confidence in all they do.

Submitted a request online to troubleshoot A/C unit and personnel responded the same morning. Service technician found a dead animal in the outside electrical compartment of the A/C unit and replaced the capacitor and fuses. They also cleaned in and around the electrical compartment. Outstanding customer service and very knowledgeable technicians. They came and went within about 30 minutes. Will definitely hire again!

Smooth, professional, reasonable prices, and on time.

If you are familiar with PTAC units - an AC/heater unit which goes through the wall, like in a hotel - then you probably know it is almost impossible to find someone to service one, let alone repair it! The wonderful team at Cosmos can do both! My husband and I are on our 2nd PTAC unit in 3 years in our rental property and when this one started leaking we were sure we would have to throw away money for another new one, but Gus and William changed that. They quickly diagnosed the drain was clogged, cleaned out the unit, and made sure it was draining properly. While this was the primary cause of the leak, the drain was clogged because the case which holds the unit in the wall, original to the property, was installed wrong. No other service company has ever taken the time to explain that this could be the root of the issue, or taken the time to fix it, which they did. Gus and William went above and beyond to provide service that exceeded my expectations - they are knowledgeable, professional, and kind. We have been previously been told that it is better to buy a new PTAC when any issue arises...it is not worth the time, money, or effort to have someone service it, but I know that in the future I will always call Cosmos!

It went great. George was punctual, professional, and kept me informed of what he was doing. It all made sense to me. This is the second time we've used COSMOS and both times they were superb.

This one was a difficult job for George & William from Cosmos Htg & Cooling, tho they disagreed. I called them for assistance, said I was an Angie's List member, had a coupon to use, and George agreed to come the following morning. They arrived timely, offered to haul the refrigerator at no extra cost,as it was easier for them to remove the freon elsewhere. The doors & shelves had to be removed, and the inside needed to be hosed out. To my shock, the inside was quite horrible. it was gross. I apologized, but they never complained. They did what they needed to do and took the refrigerator away. I was amazed of the professionalism of both of these two men. No complaints or attitude. Yes, I would use them again and again and refer them wholeheartedly. I haven't seen this level of customer service in many years, sadly enough. Give them a call, you won't regret it!

Cosmos father and son team did a great job. Price was very competitive.

Great service. Called numerous people looking for emergency service. Cosmos returned the call quickly, was at the house within the hour, and had the system fixed and back on in 20 minutes. Prices were reasonable, and their weekend rates were much better than a few others who had eventually returned my call later in the day. Very grateful they could help us out. Will do business again.

Furnace was not producing heat despite running all night. I called Cosmos since I have used them in the past 10 years. It's a local father and son family business. Usually the father (Gus) or son (George) would answer the phone. Both are very professional and friendly. I called in the morning and George came over in the afternoon to take a look at unit. He quickly diagnosed the problem - a cracked surface igniter and replaced with a new one. Work took less than an hour. Heat was running well.

Great - in and out in under an hour.

It went well. Ultimately, father and son and 2 others were here to complete fitting in the new system and cleaning up after. George and one other were here for over 6 hours! Sorry, but I am very bad with names. They did a fabulous job, and when I called to say I am hearing sheet metal noises, George said as soon as he can, he will be right over to check out the seals of the new sheet metal work. Thanks, George, and Mr. Gus Cosmos!

Employees were on time (early), very professional, and very knowledgeable. They took the time to teach me about my system and ensure I could operate it after they left. Highly recommended.

Great, since no repairs were needed.

We replaced our 17 year old system that needed about $2,000 in maintenance with a new, more efficient system of comparable load capability. We selected the systems we wanted with "Cosmos" advice. Installation was performed as expected, within one day. Cosmos is a small business and the owner, Gus, was the lead. He had two assistants. They all behaved professionally throughout the install. They did an excellent job of cleaning up when complete and removed all of the old equipment. We had one small problem with leveling of the compressor that we noticed a couple days after completion. We called Cosmos and the problem was fixed the very next day.

Gus & Emmanuel were great! I found Cosmos on Angie's List, and called them & left a message. Gus returned my call about 3 hours later; said they would be at our house in 45 minutes; and they arrived in 30 minutes. Both Gus & Emmanuel were professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Quickly and efficiently repaired our 21-year-old AC unit, breathing new life into it at minimal expense. When replacement is needed, Gus & Cosmos will get the job.

Both times when I gave them a call they offered me a few tips on what to do before they come, to see if the issue is minor and can be resolved over the phone. That actually gained time for both of us and enabled to identify the real problem easier. If you are searching an HVAC company I highly recommend Cosmos. Gus and his son George always arrive on time and take the time to explain all the available options so you can make the better decision suitable to you. Service charges are very reasonable and you feel that you pay a true price for the service you've got. I am very thankful for their timely response and the great service. Kudos to you Cosmos!
