Description of Work: George tuned up our furnace and cleaned out gunk from some type of pump. He cleaned out a large nest from our outdoor A/C unit and tuned it up also. It was a good hour's work, so we felt we needed to tip him because he charged so little.

Description of Work: |Furnace kept turning off and it was getting cold in the house. COSMOS came and figured out that a part needed cleaning. After that was one, the furnace worked fine again and the house warmed up.

Description of Work: We have used Cosmos twice now, for our heat pump. Most recently, they came out to diagnose and fix why the machine was not heating the air. Turns out the computer board in the heat pump had failed. George showed me where the failure on the board was, and he obtained the part the same day. He fixed the heat pump in a couple of hours. We appreciate this company's professionalism, and intend to use them as our heating & AC company from now on.

Description of Work: This company is great, I have used them several times. This year I had two issues that happened as I was going out if town. On one, I called them and they met my friend the next morning (I was on plane) fixed the problem. On the other, they talked me through some checks on the phone, saving the cost and still fixing it. I will never use anyone else!

Description of Work: Gus serviced our air conditioner system. He and his partner were very thorough and answered all of my questions regarding our unit-which I don't know much about. They cleaned all the filters thoroughly and changed them. We have a Trane system which is complicated and confusing and Gus answered all of my questions and programmed all three units at my request. Very personable and professional!

Description of Work: They checked and cleaned the furnace and found a motor to get rid of the carbon monoxide was not working correctly. We knew the furnace had some issue. It took them a while to find the part, but they replaced it and corrected another small issue at no additional charge. The first time they came, they were right on time. The second time they came they gave us a three hour window and barely made it by the end of the third hour. However, they were good guys and I feel like we got a fair deal and they did care. I would recommend them.

Description of Work: I needed the air conditioning repaired fast and they came quickly and did the job right. Also noticed a few things that could be done to improve the operation of our thermostat and made those changes at no charge. As pleasant as can be to deal with. Would use them again anytime.

Description of Work: The other night my CAC gurgled noisily, and then gave up the ghost. Based on an Angie's List recommendation and coupon, I called Cosmos and they were able to come the following day (I used some existing window a/c's in the meantime.) They arrived at the stated time, and successfully cleared a clogged output line. With the debris in the attic, combined with condensate water, the clog had become the consistency of dried cement and they were able to clear it with special equipment. He explained to me the shabby nature of the original installation, and how the it had impacted the compromised cooling I was receiving on the whole. I greatly appreciated knowing this, and learning that because of the air handler's location in the attic, I'd need a pre-summer check-up every year...small price to pay for a/c not breaking down.

Description of Work: We purchased a HVAC Maintenance Agreement and had our first inspection. The owner arrived with a technician, they seemed knowledgeable and were through. They will perform the second inspection in the fall.

Description of Work: THey came out and very nice and fix the problem but I felt that the cost was a little high. Overall very nice.

Description of Work: The guys did a great job. I left them an email late one night that my air conditioner wasn't working, by 8 the next morning they had called me. I was at work, and they gave me another call when they were ready and I met them at my house and they fixed all my air conditioner problems. They did a better job than anyone else, actually taking it apart before cleaning it. I would recommend highly to anyone and I plan to continue using them.
