house cleaning
+ -1 moreA team of three maid showed up to clean the house. The original estimate was $180 but the price changed to $350 due to how dirty the refrigerator was. They did a full cleaning of 2 full bathrooms,2 half bathrooms, and the kitchen including behind appliances with very good results. The rest of the house was swept and dusted. I would highly recommend this company if not for the additional "jump" in the price to clean the fridge. But overall they did a thorough job.
Description of Work: Move out cleaning of a three story townhouse,3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, 2 half bathrooms.

house cleaning
+ -1 moreThe first visit was good, but my house was already pretty clean. On subsequent visits they kept missing dust and spots on the wall even when shown the problem areas prior to starting. My ceramic pendant lights would be left covered in smudged fingerprints after cleaning. I don't know if she couldn't see how she was leaving things or just not paying attention. I don't know if the problems might have been resolved if I had someone who could explain the problems in Spanish, although she would acknowledge the problem when I explained it, the areas just weren't cleaned. There would still be mildew in the shower when they were done. When they cleaned they would rearrange furniture and items moved to different shelves. After they'd leave I found myself cleaning the spots they missed and putting furniture and nicknacks back where they belonged. They didn't damage anything, they just didn't do a thorough job cleaning.
Description of Work: I have about 3,000 sq ft on 2 levels and a partially finished basement. I was charged $250 for the first visit then $150 for once a month service. They do a standard cleaning including the inside windows, and inside the refrigerator. Zoila speaks broken English and works with her 2 nephews who don't speak English. They require that you provide all the supplies and rags. Although she did bring her own vacuum since mine was rather heavy.
