+ -1 moreThey did a really wonderful job! They took my information on the phone on Friday and came prepared on Monday with my new keys. Tony and his apprentice Curt called before they came and arrived on time. They were polite and personable, they were kind to my nosy dog, and they worked quickly and competently. I would recommend them to others and definitely use them again.
Description of Work: We needed 3 locks re-keyed and new keys for those locks.

+ -1 moreCintron folks were great to work with. I requested locks recommended by Consumer Reports and when the locks came in Cintron installed them. However bad on me. I looked at the CR photos which showed brass locks. When Trey came to install the new locks, he asked if it was okay that the color was different. I thought we would get new knobs along with the locks. Silly me, so I said no problem. When he showed me the locks, they were silver, not brass and the knob was the same one I had. So they were two different colors. Yesterday Trey replaced the new locks, after the new version came in. They look great and I was not charged extra for the work required to switch out the locks. Trey also did extra work to keep the keys the same. Incredible customer service!!!

First thing in the morning, I received a response confirming that they could and telling me the price. I went out to the shop and the young man did the job in just a few minutes while I waited.

+ -1 moreMy girlfriend locked her keys in the car and was unable to get in the house(was about 25F that day, BRRRRR!). I called Cintron and they immediately dispatched a locksmith(Tony) to her location. His expertise allowed him to gain entry to the vehicle in less than two minutes! As a result of his actions, she was able to get her keys and get in the house where it was warm!

+ -1 moreWhen the technician initially arrived he asked me to describe (in detail) the problems we were having with the locks and fixed them in a very timely manner. He listened carefully as we moved from one door to another and told me what needed to be done with each one. He gave me many details about each lock and some tips on future maintenance. The damaged deadbolt needed to be replaced, and we were prepared to replace the other deadbolts and doorknobs, but he repaired and serviced them determining they were in good condition and did not need to be replaced. That saved us quite a bit of money and we trusted his advice. He was pleasant, knowledgeable and professional in his approach to our security issues. We will use them again and recommend Cinton to others.
Description of Work: Checked deadbolts and doorknobs on three exterior doors. One deadbolt had been damaged and needed to be replaced while the other two were not operating properly, especially in humid and cold weather. The deadbolts could be very difficult to unlock and we were concerned that the key might break off inside the lock. He also checked out the doorknobs since they were old and we wanted to make sure they were still in good working condition for security reasons. I called Cinton a couple of days earlier to ask some questions and to set up a service call. The person on the phone helped clarify my problems and asked some questions so that the technician would have everything he needed to work on our locks. On the day of the appointment the technician called just before his arrival at our home. He was on time.

They produced what I had hoped. They came out and did it in a timely way. I was very pleased with their service.

He even helped me remove another lock on the front door and a bedroom door. He cleaned up afterward as well. He was professional, knowledgeable, and polite. Thank you for the excellent service.

Description of Work: I Called the company and asked for an estimate and availability. The gentleman that answered the call, Curtis was excellent. He actually exceeded our expectations. He said he will be at our home within the hour. He actually came early and was waiting in driveway hen my boyfriend pulled up. He re-keyed ap5 cylinders in under 30 minutes and made us 4 copies. He was extremely professional, curteous and efficient. He also mentioned that there is a 90 day guarantee on their work. I could not be happier and from now on I will use hem and recommend the. By the way, their rates are also one of the lowest I have found. I called almost every one down the list. At least 9 companies, before I settled for him. It was also his calm demeanor over the phone.

+ -1 moreI called several companies before Cintron. Either they couldn't come today or were way too expensive. One place quoted me $210 just to come out. Cintron sent someone within 2 hours of my call. Was very friendly and very professional. I would definitely use them again.
Description of Work: Bottom lock on the front door would not lock. Cintron came and it turned out it was an easy fix. Just had to take apart and lubricate it.

Description of Work: I wrote to several locksmiths and Cintron was one of three to respond. They were very responsive and accommodating to my schedule and provided a reasonable estimate. I had 8 cylinders re-keyed and 5 keys made for $225. After the locksmith left we had a minor issue with one of the keys they cut. We called and the technician came back immediately to resolve the issue. I would definitely recommend without hesitation.

Cintron did a good job with it, but it turned out that our doorknob mechanism was too old and after the first service call our key was spinning in the lock. When we called Cintron about the problem, they came out that day and replaced the doorknob parts, charging us only for the parts.
Description of Work: Rekeyed two locks on front door and on second trip, replaced parts of the doorknob lock.

Crossed them off my list just for that reason although perhaps they are good locksmiths. First impressions count and this one wasn't very good. Cintron needs someone to answer the phone with style so they can draw in more business.

I was able to make an appointment that morning and they called may be 20 minutes before the guy got there to tell me that he was coming. I liked that and that was very helpful.
