My partner and I recently moved into a new house in North Arlington and developed kitchen area plumbing problems. Caffi Service Representative Patrick Bache arrived in short order to make all necessary repairs. Patrick worked quickly and efficiently and thoroughly cleaned up when repairs were finished. He answered all our questions and made very helpful followup suggestions. We've been satisfied Caffi customers in Northern Virginia for over 20 years and knew that we would get the same A-1 quality service from Caffi at our new house that we had received over the years at our former address. Believe me when I say that -- in our experience -- when you go with Caffi you get the best.

It was fine and we're happy with the service and price. Also, we've used them before.

It went very well. Patrick assessed the problem with 30 year old toilet and the less than perfect initial plumbing, provided various options for replacement and completed installation the same day.

The tech would not give up; what happened was before we bought this house someone was snaking the line and the snake line the cable broke and they just left it in there. And we didn't know that until our sewer started backing up. They came and they had to clear it and they tried for hours to pull that old line out and they couldn't get it. The supervisor came and said we are going to have to trench your yard. But the one tech would just not quit. He improvised and attached a clamp to a new snake line and he was able to grab it and pull it out piece by piece. After 7 1/2 hours of using the camera he was able to pull out the last 21 feet of the cable. He probably spent 15 hours over several days. They went over and above! I think that they need to make sure that the supervisor appreciates that great work of the tech.

They were very professional but plumbing is expensive. They are prompt and effective.

I have a contract with them and they are very good. They will come out in the spring to do the air conditioning. I have them come twice a year. I keep using them because of their professionalism. They come do the work, they are in and out, they show up when they say they will and I am not waiting on them. The workers are good and very professional. I think it is family owned and that most of the people that work there have been there for a while. I have been using them probably almost three years.

Tiling was badly laid first time along one wall and had to be redone with a delay of 3-4 weeks due to the need for additional tiles. The final installation looked good initially but the grouting around the newly laid tile has turned yellow after 7 months. The other walls still look great though! Attention to detail was not ideal, some tiles are not very well cut.

The remodeled a whole powder room, including the flooring and then there was a double vanity and sink with faucets and a master bathroom. For all those things we paid about $20,000.

They are very responsive in working with the customer. The workers are professional, on time and they always put down runners to protect the floor and they cleaned up everyday after themselves.

I had to have a different plumber replace it that I knew was trust-worthy.

The plumber, Robert, called 30 minutes prior as promised, came early, and was so kind and patient with my big barking dog. Most importantly, he is an excellent plumber, efficient, honest and very professional. I will use Caffi plumbing (and hopefully Robert can come back) in the future.

We found water on our basement floor under where we thought something in the master bathroom might be leaking. On a Saturday afternoon. We called Caffi for Emergency Service because we didn't want to wait till Monday morning, not knowing what was causing the leak, if we could use our bathroom or what. They returned our call in a few minutes, and arrived a few minutes later. The plumber found the leak -- actually a large "pin hole" leak from an older pipe that you could see in the basement rafter from a certain angle. He quickly turned off the water to the house, repaired the leak by cutting out and replacing the bad section, tested it and left. The work is guaranteed for one year. This was probably one of the fastest and most efficient service calls ever. We didn't have to change our Saturday night plans or otherwise disrupt our weekend, so the Emergency Service fee was well worth it. Caffi has been our go-to plumber, and we recommend them to others.

Our heat went out during a cold spell. Caffi Contracting was able to come out right away and fixed the boiler, however, it went out again that night. The technician came back early the next day and fixed it without any additional charge. It's been working great since then!

I called Califfi Contracting services to snake the bathroom drains in my one bedroom condo. Drains are slow after remodel. I asked for price to snake a drain and dispatcher told me they do not provide price over phone. They said they charge $49 for tech to come out and determine work. Tech came out within the hour and gave me a price of $279 + $199 to snake the sink and tub. There is no other scope of work. This is twice what the work pays in DC. I declined because price is beyond unreasonable. They demanded the $49 and I paid it.

Overall I was very pleased with the work completed. The service was extremely punctual and finished in a very reasonable amount of time. The work performed was totally as expected and encountered no issues. My only issue was the total cost compared to similar work I've had done on my second home in Florida.

On time, gave some recommendations for types of facets, I bought the item, he installed it. also worked on kitchen sink leak, we found it and he made sure it would not leak again. overall good service

It's pretty much continual, we do various things with them.

it was wonderful! showed up on time, they were very.professional and they also kept us informed every step of the way. They were Very neat, removing all trash everyday. No big dumpster in the driveway. They also cleaned up at the end of the day. Put my housekeeping to shame. The two full baths were gutted to the studs. Any errors in material (some tile came in wrong) was corrected within a day. All of the people involved will be welcome in my house at any time. From estimates to design to construction it was one of the best experiences we have had with contractors. They were very responsive to any questions that we had and were wonderful to work with. Maybe not the least expensive in town but you get what you pay for and we got wonderful quality and service. Would do it again.

Plumber did not seem to understand how the tile floor shower pan system was supposed to work. Talked about sealing the grout which doesn't stop leaking. Its just meant to stop staining. He said someone else would contact me about fixing the leak but no one ever called.

I know that they've got good ratings on Angie's List. I want to move my wash and dryer to the other wall so it would require moving plumbing, moving electrical, duct work, a floor drain, the whole nine yards. They were very professional and very responsive. I thought they were good. I would trust them, I think they would do good work.

Caffi did an excellent job. All employees were very pleasant, respectful, responsive, and accessible, including owner, Ron Caffi. Technician was excellent. Thoroughly explained recommendations, and was very respectful when decisions might have been made to defer certain recommendations. Did not get bids for this work. Rated price and quot;B=Goodand quot; as in, their price was good (fair and reasonable) based on considerable experience over the years. ,Have used Caffi a number of times over the years. Will continue using them. Would not hesitate to recommend them.

Caffi is very responsive when asked to do an estimate (obtained estimates from them for 2 other jobs too). They are very professional in their approach to job assessment, estimation and documentation. The work was done at the time promised with no hiccups. Started on time, took as much time as planned, completed successfully. Caffi had no problem splitting the job over two days - morning of Day 1 was removal, then morning of Day 2 was reinstall. This allowed owner to access overnight and have time do some unrelated repairs and appointments to the inside of the house walls. Cost-wise, Caffi is probably not the lowest around, but they are within family for north VA/DC area. Excellent cleanup of work area upon completion. Overall very nice job.

Work was done quickly and efficiently. Great job. Was given a price quote from their quote book. Got a 5% discount because I'm a long time customer and/or I'm a senior citizen.

We had an old terra cotta sewer line that was having frequent tree root infiltration. We considered lining it but it had a few bellies that we were worried might cause a problem in the future. We got a quote from Caffi for a replacement of 50' of sewer line and it was less than a lining. Because we don't have a basement the sewer line wasn't real deep and they hand dug it. We also opted to remove and restore the landscaping ourselves, which allowed some savings too. The work took place over two days and as promised we had an operating sewer overnight. They cleaned up everything afterwards and were considerate to our neighbors. We have used Caffi off and on for the past 20+ years and have always been pleased with the quality work and fair price. The employees are always friendly and many have worked there for years. Our project manager was Mac and we couldn't have been happier with the whole process start to finish. Highly recommend.
