We worked with Braemar Kitchen & Bath to redesign our first floor - updating a 40 year old kitchen, making the floor plan more open, and adding a half bath. The result is amazing, and we would highly recommend working with them. In fact, we have referred them to friends for their kitchen redesign needs and they too had a positive experience.

Danielle Walther their interior designers provided detailed designs and insight for the right cabinets. Quality feels and looks high end without overpaying. Contractor installed and coordinated with the Braemar reps.

We are very pleased with the design work that included custom shower design, floor and wall tiles selection, bathtub, dual vanity, and custom counter-tops. Design team was a real pleasure to work with.

I had no idea where to start when it came to remodeling, reconfiguring and expanding my bathrooms. I had no idea how many design decisions had to be made, especially when it came to selecting tile and finishes. I live only a few blocks away from Braemar so I decided to pop up in really having no idea what to even ask or what I was looking for. The second I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile by Danielle, one of their interior designers who immediately stopped what she was doing just to listen to me rant about how overwhelmed I was by my bathroom remodels and my fear of making the wrong choices. She gave me some great advice on what next steps I need to take and even offered some awesome design ideas right there on the spot! I am waiting until spring to start my project, but have stayed in touch with Braemar and even tossed additional ideas back and forth with Danielle since I last saw her. I am finally confident that my bathrooms are going to turn out amazing and reflect style I didn't even know I had!

Our family undertook the daunting task of renovating our entire house. Bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms, etc... We required a company that could help design and supply the cabinetry for these space. After an initial consultation with the Braemar's staff, it was obvious that they were the company for the job. They designed and provided the kitchen cabinets for our contractor to install. Anna, their kitchen designer, was friendly, knowledgeable, creative, and worked around our work schedule. The cabinets look amazing! ;) They even coordinated the delivery and showed up the day of installation to answer any questions the installer might have. Ready to do the bathrooms!

We had our kitchen designed by one of Braemar?s designers, Byron Woods. We had 3 other designers give us ideas and quotes about remodeling our kitchen. Byron was very good at designing, planning and helping us choose material that was within our budget. He provided us with an exceptional guidance of the process and a beautiful set of renderings of the future finished kitchen. He was easy to work with, worked well with our contractor which is a plus if you plan on using your own contractor. They also provided another style and brand of cabinetry for our garage project as well. Braemar has a wonderful selection of cabinets and countertops. We highly recommend Braemar.

My husband and I purchased cabinets for our kitchen and absolutely love them! Braemar Kitchen & Bath was by far the best value in the market. We shopped several cabinet retail stores and there was no comparison. Very friendly staff and the best prices we were able to find anywhere. If you are remodeling your kitchen or bathroom, you should definitely check them out. We will be back to do our bathroom cabinets soon!

We used Braemar Kitchen & Bath of Alexandria, VA for a large scale kitchen remodel. They have a number of different cabinet lines that can work in a variety of budgets, and they were happy to show us all of them without pushing one particular line. After we selected our cabinet line, we began design services with their staff. They were very helpful in combining my ideas and their suggestions, and offered 3D renderings of what the final project would like. This made the decision process much easier. I was very pleased with Braemar Kitchen & Bath. They were helpful, responsive, knowledgeable, and professional. We loved the end results to our remodel.

I called Braemar Kitchen and Bath and scheduled a consultation appointment. We met with Lisa, the designer, at their showroom. She was knowledgeable about what was trending within the industry. She brought information, samples, drawings, and photos. I could tell she really did her homework not only about my house but about the neighborhood real estate trends. The design process was smooth and the cabinets arrived within 5 weeks from order. The installation drawings were correct and concise which helped us understand what we were buying. We LOVE our new kitchen and bathroom cabinetry.

We recently bought in an older neighborhood in McLean, VA. The kitchen was very out dated which required a complete remodel. We hired Braemar for their services of providing design, cabinets, countertops, flooring, backsplash tile, electrical, plumbing, and management of the entire process. We thoroughly enjoyed working with the company. They did a great job and we look forward to having them back for future projects.

The project went very smooth. The owners of Braemar Construction are the ones you actually deal with on a daily basis, which provides another level of comfort. I was new to the area which provided a challenge to find the right contractor. A friend of mine found several contractors through Angie's List, Braemar being one of them. Braemar has an excellent line of kitchen cabinets with neat options to choose from. The guys who worked on my condo on a daily basis were awesome! Can't thank them enough for a great finished product and experience.

Prior to hiring Braemar, we interviewed five different general contractors from the Alexandria area. Greg Marks visited our home and provided valuable design and construction ideas, which none of the others did. The proposal came two days later via email, which was very detailed and easy to understand. Other proposals were vague, which we did not feel comfortable with agreeing to, especially considering the amount of scope. Greg walked us through the design and material selection process. Their access to local designers and suppliers made the process easy and customizable. The construction was ran by Drew Marks from start to finish. Drew was excellent about communicating the next steps and his crew was very professional. Our new spaces are what we dreamed about! We recommend these guys to all of our friends and family. My wife and I could have not been more impressed with the Braemar group. We've been through several renovation projects throughout our life but this particular project exceeded our expectations. The team at Braemar was very patient with walking us through every step of the process. Their process allowed us to feel comfortable with no pressure, which lowered our stress level about taking on such a large project. The construction team was polite, punctual, clean, and communicated every step of the way. We are very pleased with the finished product and the Braemar team.

This job took approximately 8 weeks to complete. Braemar Construction is probably the cleanest contractor we've ever worked with. For example, on the first day of the job, they taped rhino board to floors, stairs, and walls. In addition, the crew completely cleaned the works areas at the end of each day. We were able to comfortably sleep in our bedroom during the entire job. Another aspect we liked was that construction managers visited our work site at least once each day. These frequent visits tended to reduce worker confusion and subsequent mistakes. Also, the frequent visits by construction managers allowed us the opportunity to ask question and resolve design issues quickly. The tile work in the master bathroom which includes 42' tile wainscoting and a 6 inch tile border was extremely well done and truly makes the master bathroom stand out. The Braemar folks did an excellent job of designing a new bathroom for the 4th floor of our townhouse. The area was very cramped and the bathroom had to be designed within severe space limitations. We couldn't be happier with how the bathroom came out. It looks great, is very functional, and is extremely efficient. We had such a bad experience with a different contractor during the renovation of our kitchen over a year ago that we put off the renovation of our bathrooms and the addition of the new bathroom. We simply had to have time recover from that experience. Thankfully, Braemar Construction restored our faith in professional, experienced general contractors.

I am extremely happy with my renovation. Right away, I felt like Greg and Drew "got" what I wanted. I had originally selected a different contractor, but almost immediately I felt like the project manager was not going to work out with me. I felt like we were speaking a different language and I couldn't imagine going through an entire renovation with them. I then met with Braemar and another contractor. The other contractor's estimate was TWICE what Braemar quoted me (it was similar to what the first contractor had quoted me) and the other contractor, like the first, just didn't seem to understand what I wanted. It wasn't THAT complicated!!! Anyway, I was very happy with Braemar. We stayed mostly within budget -- overruns were my doing, not theirs. They were very flexible in making changes and offered good advice at those times when I needed to make unforeseen decisions. I felt the work crew was very respectful of my space and kept things as tidy and clean as you can when you are gutting a house and knocking down all the walls! I would use Braemar again in a heartbeat!
