A friend in my office recommended Bobi and her team to me around 10 years ago when I was looking to sell a starter home and move to a larger house. Bobi did a wonderful job with helping me sell my home at a 70% profit. She then helped me search for a new home over a faily large geographical area in Northern Virginia. What I like most about working with Bobi is that she really got to know me and understood what I was looking for. She never tried to oversell a property. She would see properties without me and I knew I could trust her to tell me when I shouldn't bother seeing something--or when to rush over and see something before it was snapped up. She helped me close a deal--working with a relatively difficult agent and sellers on the other side of the transaction. When something went wrong after I purchsed the home (the sellers failed to disclose a significant defect), Bobi helped resolve the situation. In 2009, when I was living abroad, she helped me sell my house. I wasn't in the U.S. Bobi handled all of the necessary repairs and minor renovations, staged the house, and sold it at a significant profit (despite the terrible market). All I had to do was sign the paperwork. Still abroad, I searched listings online and had Bobi see interesting properties for me. I ended up putting in an offer on a place I had never even seen in person. Bobi knew me well enought to tell me all of the pros and cons of the property, and I trusted her completely. I recommended Bobi to another friend who sold and bought--and then sold and bought homes with her. I recommended her to a couple I know, and they also had a great experience. Bobi arrived promptly for the appointment to discuss listing my home and was well prepared and quite knowledgeable about homes in the Del Ray and Rosemont neighborhoods of Alexandria. She presented a detailed plan to prepare the home for listing -- a plan that included painting the inside walls, staging the home, and having some landscape work completed. She has many contacts of local handymen and contractors who can perform this sort of work at very competitive rates. Her pricing of my home was spot-on -- she did not give me an inflated sense of the selling price of my home, but she also did not underprice it. She and her team really hustled to sell the house, which resulted in no stress and no real effort on my part. Bobi thoroughly knows the Del Ray and Rosemont neighborhoods -- something that is critical in this area if you are looking to buy or sell a property.

Both Bobi and Gretchen are true professionals -- they really look out for the best interests of their clients, even if it means walking away from a real estate sale. They do not push a buyer to buy fast; rather, they take the time to learn what the buyer wants and then they send the buyer listings that fit the buyer's wishes. They specialize in the Del Ray and Rosemont neighborhoods of Alexandria (but also serve as buyers' agents in other parts of the DC metro area) and are intimately familiar with pricing differences by street. Oftentimes, they will know about a property long before it comes on the market and can give a buyer a heads-up if they believe that property may be what the buyer wants. Gretchen and Bobi ensured that I had a top-notch home inspector who owned his own company and had been a builder for years -- not one of the shake and bake home inspectors you often get from a larger company (the ones that attend a week long training course and then are certified to be home inspectors) -- who found issues that I am certain (from my previous experience using shake and bake inspectors) would not have been spotted by shake and bake home inspectors. I used Bobi and her team to sell my home, and I was so happy with the sale process that I contacted her when I wanted to purchase a home. Bobi generally does most of the selling work for the team and Gretchen does most of the buying work for the team. Both are great -- you cannot go wrong by choosing to sell or buy a home with this team.

Bobi sold 2 of my homes and helped find us our new home in 2008 - not an easy year for home sales!
