Moth problems. Little tiny, beige wingers, not the more familiar big guys. Difficult pest to control. Called this provider and talked to a technician who was very helpful in telling me what might be done other than or in addition to the usual "wash everything and then put edibles (e.g. wool anything) in an airtight container," etc. I've got way too much wool to wash, but in conversation with this gentleman, I mentioned that spraying with Lysol seemed to catch some of the moths the way those fly strips catch flies. He suggested places I should spray and what would kill them off versus just what kinds of things (lavender, cedar, etc.) repel them. He gave this help with no charge and simply said that if I wanted them to come out and do spraying, to give them a call whenever I was ready. This is rare, good service! Thank you!

Hubie, the technician called in advance of the appointment and arrived on time. Immediately, upon arrival, he placed coverings on his shoes. He was very professional in performing his termite inspection. Rather than scold me for using mulch in my flower beds, instead, he recommended I push the mulch about a foot from my house and fill in the space with lava rocks. He even suggested that I use perennial scrubs instead of the type that die out by the end of the season. He explained that termites eat the root of the fly-by-night scrubs. He stated the technician places the company sticker on the furnace so it will be prominent for the next inspection and the technician will not have to search the area for it. Finally, Hubie treated the outside area to ward off pests since we had such a mild winter. Overall, the service appointment was a pleasant and educational experience.

Marcel is extremely kind and professional. He introduced himself to me, explained the details of the services and warranty, and performed the inspection. He provided me with a detailed list of the previous services to the home. I am so glad that the warranty wasn't cancelled when ownership of the home changed. He recommended that I call the office to give them my information and set up continued services. I am very impressed with the kindness and professionalism of this agency.

The person that came was prompt. He spread crystals outside first and then inspected the inside. The entire appt was less than 30 minutes.

I am extremely happy to work with sales manager Kathleen Holroyd. She is very professional and friendly and very easy to work with. I sent out 5 quotes requests to other pest control firms, all either delayed the quote, or gave me too high price or not friendly. Better Termite and Pest Control really stood out. We had a new construction site where we need pre-treatment and she gave me quote with explanations. Afterward I have e-mail exchanges a few times asking what treatment they used, whether applied on gravel or soil, coupons and warranty. She has all given me satisfactory answers. I also gave them business on my current TH. One day before scheduled date, due to our own problem with concrete firm, we had to ask her to reschedule with short notice. She spent a lot of time getting it done for the rescheduling. I am really moved. What's more, what I have offered for paying $100 more, she professional gave that up. I like the firm and will give them more business from now on for sure.

We have been using them for about 11 years. They have done a very good job. When we had trouble with carpenter bees, they were able to come out quickly and solve the issue.

I’ve had them for years. I have a contract with them to come out annually. They are very good. They have just good customer service. They are reasonably priced. I will use their services again in the future.

Received several estimates for inspection and treatment, all were in the same range. Better Termite was quick and responsive; the original estimate was good and included a $50 discount for Angie's List clients. The inspection revealed no active termite damage to the house, but I had the treatment done since it had been over ten years since my last treatment and there was active termite damage to a fence which I have subsequently replaced. The treatment was performed within three business days and the crew appeared to do a very good job. The estimate, inspection and treatment were all on time and completed within the time specified. The only thing more I might have wished for would be a follow-up phone call or e-mail after the treatment as a courtesy call. Otherwise they did a very good job and I would certainly use them again.

Lawrence did our termite inspection for us. He was excellent. Very punctual, thorough, helpful and answered all of our questions. The service performed far exceeded our expectations. We thought the inspection would only take 20 minutes or so, but Lawrence spent a good 45 minutes or maybe even longer looking at the house. We'll keep this company in mind for any future pest control services.

People from Better Termite & Pest Control Company did a great job. They did exactly what they said they were going to do. Their price was reasonable. What I really liked about them is that they took me around the house and explained to me what they were going to do. They came back and did the work after which they also gave us tips on how to avoid termites and keep the house safe. They really did a fine job. I would use them again in the future.

We have been using Better Termite & Pest Control since we moved here six years ago. They are great. One guy in particular, I can't think of his name, but he usually comes to our house and he is wonderful. He even talks to the kids about bugs and explains to them; but terminates that, which is pretty cool. Their quality of work is good. I would use them in the future.

There was no charge because it was an annual re-inspection. We had sub-terrain termites and this company did a very good job of explaining what they were the potential damage and why we needed to treat them as well as check every year for reoccurrence. When they came out and did the initial treatment, there was no mess, and if there was any clean up that needed to be done, they handled it. The inspections are very simple and straight forward; they just come in and look, so there is no mess.

I think they did a pretty good job. The price seemed really fair. I am not having problems anymore.

They used to come once in every 3 months regularly and they were reasonably priced. We had a termite outbreak and they came out right away and took care of it. The quality of their work was very good and I have no complaints against them.

They are professional, and the quality of their work is okay. They always come when they say they will come. They mail me a card requesting me to schedule an appointment. When I schedule it, they come and do the work. I haven?t had any problems with them at all.

Came out for estimate and had a great price for yearly monitoring of termites and pest control as well as treating home for termites with bate stations and pesticide treatment around foundation of home. Come out quarterly for monitoring and pest control. We had a problem with spiders once after they had come to spray and they returned immediately to spray again and we had no problem. They gaurantee their service and that there will be no pests, etc with their treatment or they will return to fix the problem and they stand behind that!

We have a regular maintenance contract for termites with Better Termite, and have had it in place since we purchased our home 13 years ago. We had one instance where we found evidence of termites about 6 years ago, and they treated it at no extra cost in accordance with the yearly maintenance contract. A year or two ago, they found more evidence of termites with the inspection, and we switched to a perimeter protection system. They come out several times a year to service the perimeter units. The latest inspection showed no evidence of termite activity. The inspector came in the time block given (they call in the morning to also confirm the time, and can usually further narrow the time block), and did a thorough job of looking for signs of activity. We do not use Better Termite for other pest protection services, but the inspector gave a soft sell for that, and we probably will switch since we use another (much more expensive) pest control company for that. We have been very happy with the service and prices of Better Termite.

I collected a few ants in a ziplock bag, which made identification quick [this is a GOOD idea, if I say so myself]. Once the tech was here and explained the service, I didn't think clearly about holding off to get other estimates. My problem, not the company's, but I expect I could have gotten a better price. I found 2 small "puddles" of pesticide after the tech left -- that's troublesome, although I don't know how he would have seen them (clear liquid on white linoleum). My foot slid a bit in one of them, so I examined the kitchen floor **very** closely & found the other.

We have an annual contract with Better Termite for general pest control. They call to schedule the visits. Unless we have a pest infestation in the home, we are usually not here. Prior to our service contract we had many unwelcome pests inside. It is now very rare to find any bugs inside our house.

I met with the inspector who inspected interior areas of the home, the crawl space and perimeter of the house for termite and ant and cricket activity. I contracted for the preventative termite and quarterly pest treatment. The treatment was scheduled 10 days from the date of the initial inspection. Good thing. I had to clear materials away from the house so they would have about a 4 foot work area. On the morning of the appointment, the crew called and confirmed the appointment time window. hey arrived promptly and quickly got to work digging the trenching for the termite preventative treatment. I also chose to pull back carpeting from the sun porch to allow for easier drilling small holes about a foot apart into the cement areas around the house. This proved to be a very important decision. Hidden under the carpeting on the steps was obvious termite damage to the house sill. The initial inspection did not reveal the damage from the crawl space side of the board. The treatment team completed the termite prevention treatment and pest extermination treatment in about 3 hours. I have not seen cave crickets or ants in the house since the treatment. Juan and his helper did a great job cleaning up the debris after all the digging and drilling to treat the house.

The price is for Quarterly Pest Service for a year. You pay the total yearly amount at your initial service visit. Everything went well and we've not noticed any bugs inside and the ant problem seems gone on the exterior.
