Description of Work: Two visits. First visit was to inspect two attic fans; one fan was replaced. Also checked wiring for dining room chandelier and various electrical sockets and switches in dining room; all problems quickly and professionally resolved. Second visit was to install two new cable TV drops from attic to lower floor; this involved working through plaster walls which was done with minimum damage and nicely repaired. Both the Becker estimator and the Becker electricians answered the many questions we had, explaining what they were doing and addressing our concerns.

The estimator came when he said he would. Calling ahead to confirm. The workers showed up on time with the proper tools. Did the work in a short amount of time and left both areas clean and neat. They were polite and efficient. I was a little surprised at the cost at first but am completely satisfied, well worth the investment.
Description of Work: After many years of use my bathroom light switches/timers were not working correctly (2 baths). Two other electricians tried to figure out what to do and one royally messed up and the other never came back. I called Becker after I read about Angie's list. They sent an estimator - a free service. Gave me a price and then came out to put in two complete new systems. Changed switches and timers and attached fans properly.

The electrician arrived on time and worked efficiently to complete the job in a timely manner. However, it still cost over $100 in labor charges for 45 minutes of work. The price not withstanding I was very satisfied with the work done.

Three man team arrived, worked neatly, were very pleasant, and were done in 2 1/2 hours. I was favorably impressed with their creative solution to one fan with problem medallion. I've had other electricians, but these were the best I've ever used. I also was pleased with the cost.
Description of Work: Replaced a ceiling fan, reset two fans after placing a medallion over opening, installed new ceiling fan in porch, replaced 9 electrical outlets, replaced 3 switches with dimmer switches, replaced 2 standard switches, and replaced under cabinet outlet strip.

Steve was extremely polite, friendly but also professional. He arrived earlier than expected and finished the work promptly.
Description of Work: He did a ceiling fan light repair because the lights not working properly, but the fans were running great. Steve, the electrician, suggested just removing the lights as repair would be too expensive. We did not use the lights on the fan so we took his suggestion. Lights were removed, and the fans were put back into the ceiling and all is well.
