They came on time, completed the required work, and cleaned up after themselves. Very efficient. Very pleasant to deal with. I've used Becker before, and I have recommended them to friends. I will use them again if the need arises.

On time, within budget. Excellent craftsmanship in every respect. I would not use another electrical contractor under any circumstances. They are simply the best I have ever used.

We have an old house, so installing interior cables is always a challenge. The two electricians from Becker arrived promptly and got to work quickly, figuring out the best way to get a cable connection to my daughter's upstairs bedroom, which had to connect to a cable hub in the basement. They were able to do it without having to make any additional cuts into the bedroom wall (other than where the outlet goes), which had been a possibility. This was a tricky challenge, and they resolved it with confidence. I was very pleased with their work. They also got my son's ceiling fan working; it had mysteriously stopped working and the Becker electricians found that it was a problem with the remote frequency, which they fixed. Finally, they installed two dimmer switches; one in the entrance hallway and one in the dining room. They worked efficiently and knowledgeably, and I will happily use them again.

I purchased a vent fan with light to install in the walk-in shower of my master bath. The builder had installed a small fan in the toilet alcove of the bathroom which was insufficient to remove the moisture from the shower. As a result, I had to make repairs to the shower three times. Becker responded quickly to my call and send an estimator to look at the requirements for the job. After receiving the estimate, I gave the go ahead and the electricians came in a few days, on time, and did an excellent job. They had to vent the fan through the brick work in the attic and they did so very neatly. The electricians were very courteous and they clearly knew what they were doing. I am very pleased with the results and would recommend Becker highly.

I have been very happy with their services. They have been pretty good, I don't have a wide experience in hiring electricians but sometimes they can be astronomical and I don't think these guys are.

The two-person team arrived at the agreed-time and worked quickly and efficiently, completing several projects in about an hour. We were very pleased with their professionalism and with the quality of their work.

Becker did an amazing job! I got three estimates, and all were in the same ballpark. I chose Becker because of their professionalism and they appeared to me to be a company that stands by their work. They were extremely thorough. The technicians took time to explain my new system to me and to discuss other plans about updating some of the electrical outlets and fixtures throughout my 1965 home. They were helpful with answering my many questions and were not annoyed by me following them around during their work (mainly in the attic where most of my electrical was routed). I'd definitely recommend to anyone who is in need of an electrician!

We only use Becker and they are wonderful. Most of our neighbors use them as well. We have been customers with them for about 10 years now. The electricians are great, appropriate, hardworking, and dedicated. The cleanup is fine and they leave everything the way they found it.

I used Becker Electric twice to install new cable outlets and both experiences were very positive. I?ve worked with many contractors over the years and Sy and his assistant are a cut above in the exceptional courteousness, professionalism, and competency they demonstrated. They worked quickly and efficiently while taking great care to protect the surrounding areas from work debris/dust and left my home clean after the job was complete. They also came back out at my request because I thought there might have been a problem resulting from one of the cable installations but this was not the case. It was a separate issue and everything with the cable installation is fine, however I thought it was very professional and outstanding customer service for them to come back to inspect things and give me that peace of mind at no charge. I highly recommend Becker Electric.

The crew was very careful not to damage anything or track in snow/dirt, and they cleaned up thoroughly after completing the job. I was so impressed with them I asked if they could provide a price quote to hardwire a screened porch ceiling fan. The price was fair and they did the job immediately rather than scheduling a second trip. I obtained several price quotes prior to contacting Becker Electric. Becker completed both jobs at a lower cost than what I was quoted just to change/install the lights. I could not be happier with Becker Electric's service and professionalism. They also provided a 10% senior citizen discount. Becker Electric will be my electrical professional of choice for all future requirements.

Becker is great. I have used them several times over the past eight years, and they always do a high-quality job. I have had them install ceiling fans in bedrooms and a porch; add new outlets, light fixtures, and light switches indoors; add an outdoor outlet; and fix a bunch of bad wiring that previous electricians had done, as well as fix some wiring that was just really old. We have never had a problem with their work and it always looks really good. They have explained to me in detail mistakes previous electricians had made, so I can see why it was wrong. The electricians are always very professional, the office staff is responsive, and the prices are reasonable.

They are wonderful. They solved the issues and they taught us something that we didn't know about changing bulbs in a fixture. I am very pleased with them. My overall experience with them was very good.

I was impressed. Becker Electric responded promptly to my inquiry through Angies List. They provided a reasonable quote which was not cheap but was in line with other quotes received from licensed electricians in the area. They scheduled the work promptly, the electrician arrived as scheduled, and he and his partner completed all work in about 3 hours. They explained each step to me, including what to expect from the electric company and Alexandria code inspection (shut off power, inspect work, replace meter). They also answered my questions as they were working, and explained what they were doing. Afterwards they cleaned up after themselves. I had minimum disruption to my house - very little residual dust or paint chips - it was a nice clean job. They were also careful going in and out of the house to be sure my cat didn't escape. When Alexandria code inspection came out, they explained what they were looking for, and the inspector commented that Becker is among the electricians that, in his opinion, do an excellent job. He pointed out quality work - correct grounding inside and out, properly removing and replacing the old electrical box outside, properly hanging the electric panel inside. I feel confident they did the work as contracted, and I'm very happy I selected this local company to do the job.

Great experience - will definitely go to Becker for future electrical needs. Scott LeLacheur worked quickly, but still took the time to explain the issues before he repaired them and also discussed our options. I feel like I now have a 'regular' electrical repair company for any future needs.

Becker provided me with an estimate for a panel upgrade for my home, plus rewiring the basement of my 1920 Bungalow. They rep came out and explained what needed to be done and I definitely felt confident they could handle what would be a fairly sizable job. I was pleased with the price of the estimate, which was in line with other service providers. I ended up having someone else do the job, but it was a close race between that company and Becker. I would definitely recommend Becker to others.

It went GREAT! The two electricians who came were perfectly on time and quick, especially given the physical complexity (in my mind) of what they had to do. They were professional and very personable. I would call them again in a heartbeat!

Two electricians came to the house yesterday to install a living room chandelier and insert two chandelier boxes above the kitchen island. The living room job was fairly straightforward (though it involved installing a ceiling medallion as well), but the work above the kitchen island was more complicated than expected. The ceiling was made of concrete, so the poor guys were having to chisel the openings over their head while standing on a latter sitting on top of the island. Despite the complexity of the job, the execution of their work was solid, they cleaned up beautifully, and they were pleasant to work with. This is the second time we've used Becker, and I would highly recommend them with no reservations.

they were excellent. i was able to get an appointment within a couple of days. the electricians called before arriving and were prompt. they did the work very rapidly and the price reflected their efficiency. my mom said they were very polite and professional. the old lamps left dirt rings on the ceiling that will have to be repainted, and the area above the kitchen lamp will need a little caulking, but that's for a handyman to do. i absolutely recommend them

The technicians from Becker Electric came to my home on-time as scheduled and were very nice and professional while performing the requested task of removing an old light fixture and replacing it with a very large chandelier. The job was completed in a timely manner. I?ve used other Electric companies in the same month of July 2013 for similar jobs; and although the other Electric company?s technicians were professional, their pricing model (by the job, not by the time) was Extremely expensive. I prefer Becker Electric because their prices are reasonable and affordable and their technicians provide good professional service. I would definitely recommend Becker Electric to my neighbors.

My house still had a few of the older 2-prong electrical outlets in areas that we didn't use as often. It was time to upgrade to 3-prong outlets. I had used Becker (based upon Angie's List reviews) 3 or 4 times in the past so I called them for this job too. They explained their cost structure and an electrician was at my house within 48 hours of the call. As with other jobs Becker has done at my house, the job was completed quickly and in a very professional manner. No complaints.
