We were very pleased. First, the estimator did an excellent job and was a very pleasant person to deal with. The 2 workers came at the appointed time on the appointed day, worked very hard, and completed everything quickly. They cleaned up before they left. I would definitely use Becker Electric again.

The person who answered the phone was polite, pleasant, and set up an appointment quickly. The electricians arrived exactly at the scheduled time and worked efficiently and effectively. We had originally requested that an existing light fixture be relocated when replaced by a new one. They recommended against the relocation and gave good reason for their recommendation. We followed their good advice. After finishing their work within two hours, they cleaned up completely.

Steve showed up promptly and had the switch wired correctly within 20 minutes. He even let me watch and explained what he was doing. Very professional and down to earth. I highly recommend this company.

Fantastic. I was very pleased. They were prompt, efficiant and they cleaned up after the job. Scheduling was a bit of a proble because I could not be ready for them as soon as they wanted to do the work.

We thought we had the problem fixed, but a few hours after completion, the breaker faulted again. They came back in a few hours and proceeded to get it right without additional costs.

The work was performed expeditiously and expertly.

Overall a very good experience -- called for an estimate, gentleman arrived 5 minutes before scheduled time. He reviewed all the needs and promised us a written estimate within 3 days. We received the estimate in 2 days. Though the price was a little higher than some other electricians we had also checked out, we decided to go with Becker. We returned the estimate and they called us 2 days later to arrange for the services. We agreed to have their service folks come by 2 days later, at 8am. Promptly at 8am, 2 Becker electricians arrived and immediately began working on installing the outdoor socket. They moved onto the microwave and finished with the new sockets. All told, service took about 3 hours and they were *extremely* professional. It was a very rainy day, yet they took care to wipe their feet repeatedly as they went in and out of the house. They cleaned up any debris they left behind and explained to use in detail all the work they had done.

They got it done right and done fast. I am very pleased with the results.

It went fine. All I did is talk to them on the phone to see if they did new construction. I don t know they quote because they don t have the plans yet. I can t grade them because all I did is talk to them on the phone and asked them if they did new residential electrical work and they said to drop off the plans. The phone call went fine; they answered the phone and answered my questions. I would give them just an A for that. They answered the phone. I would use them in the future.

The work went well. Steve, the electrician, was very knowledgeable and careful. He came on schedule and checked out the problems carefully. He was also patient in answering our questions about the causes of the problem and made good suggestions on the replacement of our electric panel to ensure future safety. The overall experience was very good, although we don't have enough comparison to determine the costs of the service. The cost of the first half an hour is $75, and $35 for each additional 15 minutes.

Called Becker after another electrician never called me back. A very polite woman answered the phone and knew exactly what I needed. They offered to come and do an estimate or could come and do the job on a time/materials basis. She said for this type of work time/materials can often be a little cheaper. Two people showed up the next day on-time and installed the circuit in about an hour. Great job-will call next time I need an electricity job handled.

They were really good. They showed up on time. They kept the appointment and did a good job. I was satisfied with his work.

They arrived on time and performed the requested jobs. They were neat and clean and picked up after themselves. I would hire them again.

Went very well and crisply as electrician moved steadily through all of the relatively minor work, repairing and explaining what he was doing. Total work time was about 45 minutes. Telephone service arranging the appointment was also very good. Seem very reliable and professional.

I am happy with their work and happy with them overall. They just pulled a bad move once. I would want them back to do more work but what happened was discouraging. My husband was concerned that the light switch was getting too hot. He didn't know why it was getting hot. That's just what it does. I called them and told about it. They sent somebody out to look at it. He switched it out for a different to test the problem. He explained that it would be temporary. The color didn't even match. I called back on Monday and just wanted an idea of when he would be here. They said he would be here Thursday. He did come back. I wasn't informed that this would be an additional charge. He switched out the light switch. When he finished he said they wanted me to charge you for this. I had no problem paying but they should have told me upfront. I felt insulted. He should have told me when he came in the door. They have a good reputation. But I felt it was unprofessional. I am not sure if I would have them back.

My husband purchased a gable fan for the attic even though we had a working attic fan. When we got a contract on our house, the purchasers saw that the gable fan was not connected. The contract stated that it had to be connected. So, we called Becker Electric. Scott and Brain arrived at the appointed time. They were both very courteous and professional. Scott checked out the gable fan and said it did not work. Since the person who was purchasing the house has had his orders put on hold, we did not need the gable fan. I asked Scott to remove the gable fan.He agreed that it would be redundant since we have a working attic fan. I highly recommend Becker Electric -- especially Scott and Brian.

I had called two companies prior to calling Becker. The first one made a couple of possible appointments, but never showed-up. The second company didn't even respond to my email requesting an estimate. When I finally called Becker, I was greeted warmly and professionally, and scheduled promptly. When the gentlemen came-out, they were courteous and on-time (8:00am, sharp). They knew exactly what to do and how to do it. They told me what it would cost (which was a few dollars less than the irresponsible person who never showed-up). I didn't see Superman tees under their shirts, but they could have been there. I'll certainly call them again, should I need service.

Excellent. Two electricians arrived on time. They were prompt, courteous and speedy. Most importantly, they did excellent work.

They discussed with us what we wanted and suggested a better way to place them. The work men came when they were suppose to, did the work, and cleaned up their mess.

Arrived on time. Immediately found problem. Complete within an hour. Thankfully, had all parts on the truck. I am most appreciative of the contractor's professionalism, punctuality and technical expertise. A combination that is rare.

The contractor was exceptionally professional from estimate to finish. I received a call approximately 20 minutes before the work was scheduled to alert me of their arrival time. They proceeded to perform the work neatly (as neatly as possible given that they were working with drywall dust!), and professionally. When an issue arose, they asked questions to be sure they were completing the work the way I wanted it to be completed. Given that our house is over 150 years old, the technicians encountered several unique challenges, but always managed to explain what needed to be done to address the challenge and why. They may be a bit more pricey than other electrician, but their work and professionalism are worth the investment. We'll use them again.

From start to finish, I was impressed with everyone. When I called to get an estimate, the person on the phone explained how the hourly rates worked and I was able to set up an appointment very quickly. Steve, the technician, was friendly, professional, and very nice to explain what he was doing and how he was going to fix the problem with the installation of one of the fans. The entire installation only took 2.5 hours. I would definitely use this company again and recommend them to my friends. I have more electrical work to be done and will definitely call Becker Electrical Company to do the work.

They were very good at what they did for us, but they were also expensive. They were very courteous, and they were on time. The work quality was very good.
