I've been having Ash Maids clean once a month for a few months now. Sometimes the communication isn't great, and the past two times they were late. We've had a few damage/misplaced items issues as well. However, they are quick and efficient and the cleaning team are easy to work with. Overall, Ash Maids is a decent service.

The cleaners did an excellent job! I was very pleased with the services that I received. They were very thorough. I will definitely hire them again!

Good except our wooden floors have streaks on them because of the cleaning solution.

They were Amazing!! I had been working 7 days a week for several months and didn’t have the time or the energy to do a through cleaning of my home. The team was professional, courteous, arrived on time, came in and cleaned everything so spotless that when they finished, my home looked as though it were just moved into again. All of this was completed within a timely manner, just shy of 2 hours and was affordable. I was very impressed and do recommend this company to anyone looking for regular service or a move in/move out service. I will hire them again!

I recently used Ash Maids, Inc. to perform cleaning services on 1/20/2018, as they had a $139 special for two hours, plus $90 for an additional hour of cleaning services. Both ladies were uncooperative and rude to me. They told me right off that they were only working 2 hours and to call the office if I had a problem with that. I called the toll free number (1-855-274-6243) and the woman who answered spoke to them and directed them to work the additional hour as stated on my invoice. When they arrived, they brought a vacuum cleaner, a dust mop, and a couple of empty buckets. And, they wore aprons around their wastes, which appeared to have dust towels stuffed inside of the pockets. When I noticed they didn’t have any cleaning supplies, I asked them about it. However, they didn’t appear to understand what I was saying. And, I assumed they would retrieve cleaning supplies from their vehicle at some point. However, unless they had small packets of cleaning supplies in their apron pockets, they had to use my cleaning supplies to clean our home. Which I was okay with, but I believe we should have received a discount since Ash Maids didn’t provide their own cleaning supplies. On 1/27/2018, I contacted Ash Maids, Inc. (703-820-5444) to notify them of a pair of missing garnet earrings (retail value $250) that I purchased from Macys.com on 12/24/2017. After performing my own due diligence to find the earrings before reporting them missing, I called today to report them stolen. And, I don’t know what else may have been taken. The other lady who I believed stole the earrings was moving from room to room haphazardly and carelessly wiping stair rails, vacuuming floor boards with the end of a metal vacuum hose without an attachment, dusting and rearranging items on my end tables and dressers without much effort or focus. She knocked over my husband’s guitar that was displayed on a stand in the basement, and as previously stated dragged the metal nose of the vacuum hose along my wood floors and baseboards. When I noticed her banging the metal hose against my wood floors and floor boards, I asked her to use the nozzle attachment instead. She ignored my direction and simply stopped cleaning the floor boards. At the end of the 3 hours, as the ladies were wrapping up, one had just finished the powder room on the main level and had already headed out to the car. The other lady who I believe stole the earrings was cleaning out her vacuum bag in the center of my living room. As I was entering the living room from the kitchen/family room area, I noticed her throwing a dog bone (I believe) that she retrieved from her vacuum cleaner, which hit the front door. I was so ready for them to leave my home. I told her that she left her cell phone on the back stairs. That I would get it for her and I escorted to the front door and locked the door. Shortly thereafter, my husband returned from Costco and I gave him the check to give to the ladies who asked him for a credit card. A couple of days later when I received the Ash Maids survey email, I responded with a rating of POOR, stating: The lady who cleaned the bathrooms did clean the bathrooms; however, it took about 2.5 hours for her to clean four (4) bathrooms. As previously mentioned, the lady who dusted was very careless with our property, knocking over my husband’s guitar that was on a stand in the basement and throwing what I believe was a dog bone retrieved from her vacuum cleaner across my living room hitting the door. Overall, they both were uncooperative and rude, pretending not to understand English. But, then when I was directing the one that was moving from room to room around the house (and talking on her cell phone), she clearly told me in English, “Hold on, hold on a minute. . .wait a minute.” What I didn’t mention on the survey is that after the ladies left and I did an inspection of the house, I noticed that the ADT camera in the living room had been turned backward toward the wall versus toward the door. And, that my cloth (designer) blinds were not laying flush against the windows—indicating that the lady who was dusting did not bother to raise the cloth blinds, in order not to damage them, before dusting the window sills. Again, showing a lack of regard for our home and property. It did seem odd (suspicious) that the ADT camera was turned backwards; however, I was trying to give the ladies the benefit of the doubt, since I was considering taking advantage of the $159.00 Home Cleaning Special! Promo received via email from Ash Maids on 1/20/2018. When I contacted Ash Maids regarding the missing ear rings and poor experience with their technicians, they accused me of lying and said that they would only give me $40 for my dissatisfaction. Of course, I wouldn’t recommend Ash Maids to anyone.

The 2 ladies hired not only cleaned but organized, emptied trash, moved objects to dust and vaccum. They even folded toilet paper and paper towels hotel style. They worked quickly and thoroughly. This is my first time using a cleaning service but it won't be the last. I am very pleased with their service. Thank you! -Charlene

The attention to detail needed and expected by a cleaning service was not done. My job looked rushed and many things were over looked things were knocked over and out of place and left that way. Also my basement level was not cleaned

Terrible terrible experience. I'm warning you. Do not use Ash Maids. Let me break it down. 1. They do not clean you house well. They only clean well on the 1st service (1st service was very good!). After that, they leave spots on wall, dont clean under furniture, and do not mop the kitchen/dinning room floor unless you stand over them and make them. If you don't watch them, they will cut corners. 2. They are always late. They are just as bad as the cable company. Between 12-2 turns into between 12-5. The final straw was when they had my wife waiting in the house all day and canceled to return the next morning. After repeated calls asking when they will show up. All they kept saying is in 1 hour, turn into the next day when I had to turn my keys in. 3. After they came a day late, they charged me an additional $90, stating that it took an extra hour to clean an empty house (I moved out). When I called, they said it took an extra hour to clean the refrigerator and oven (which most companies clean anyway). Total came to $270 for an empty townhouse. Beware hidden charges! 4. When I called, no remorse. No apology for being a day late. No refund for charging me an extra $90 without my authorization. Please, there are plenty of other great services. Dont let them trick you after 1 good job.

Technician arrived over 2 hours late. When I called, was told that I had a 2 hour window for the service. Technician hooked their machine to my water hose to clean the carpets. The carpets were more wet then they were clean and sanitized when the service was done.
