I bought this deal for my elderly parents. The provider was easy to schedule a time with and showed up on time. I had told them that the town home is roughly 2000 sq feet which would all be covered by the deal. The first comment the technician made as he walked in was you have a big place. Its a tiny town home with no basement and with furniture in place, it's likely around 1800 square feet. They rushed through the job and didn't even move light items such as little side tables or dining chairs. My elderly mother ran around picking up things so they could clean under the chair or little tables. Not very happy with the treatment of my parents.

They showed up on time, got to work immediately and did a great job. Their employee was professional and worked hard. He did a walkthrough with me before and after the cleaning. I'm very pleased with the results and will use them again.

I hired them twice but I wanted 100% happy with the service either time

We called to schedule a carpet cleaning. They said that only one flight of stairs was included, but we needed three flights of stairs. The advertisement said "stairs included" but it was not clear that they only did one flight of stairs. So it was not clear that they only do one flight of stairs in the price.

Overall I was satisfied with the provider, but I thought the customer service over the phone was pretty terrible. When i called to set up the appointment with my Angie's list purchase i was told a different story then what I thought I was buying. I felt a bit manipulated buy the 7 areas, when I called and said I have 3 staircases that want to include in my 7 areas they told me no. It said no where in the Angie's list buy that staircases were not included. That ended up costing my another 100.00 and then Scotch Guard cost me another 100.00. I feel like it wasn't so much a deal at 400.00 but they did a good job and the tech was very polite.

I was very disappointed with this service. I purchased it as a mother's day gift to myself, with the intention of using them only once, however keeping them in mind for future regular cleanings. I bought the more expensive "thorough" cleaning, thinking that it would be more than a basic cleaning. The cleaners were so late the first time that I had to reschedule. Unfortunately, the cleaning was less satisfactory than a basic cleaning. There were several things that I found after the cleaners left that were just disappointing, including: - mopping in the kitchen: it appeared that the mopping was done quickly and the edges of the room that falls just under the cabinet was missed. I ended up wiping it with a Clorox wipe to reveal crumbs and a significant amount of dirt. As well, the trash can was not moved; it was just mopped around. - mopping in the main bathroom - behind the door was not mopped - when the door was closed I found very obvious (black) dirt- refridgerator cleaning - the top shelf was still sticky and had label residue- dishes - the dishwasher was full of clean dishes. They were not put away and the few dirty dishes were poorly washed and set on the counter. At least half had to be re washed. - brown gunk - we store the clean baby bottles and passifiers beside the sink. Something brown (perhaps coffee grinds??) was splattered all over the clean bottles and on the side of the fridge - including on photos. This was not wiped up, but left to dry and harden. - mirror in the main room was not cleaned or dusted- I inquired, and the women said they would not fold the 2 bags of clean laundry. - trash was left outside on the back porch instead of taken to the large cans on the side. The response I received was that I should have notified them within 24 hours so they could send someone back to fix the problems. They offered 20% off of a future cleaning "as a gesture of good will". I appreciate the gesture, however I feel these issues should not have happened in the first place! I was also advised that they do not open the dishwasher or fold laundry. For $199, I feel these things should have been included! I responded with a request for a 20% refund, as I did not have plans to have the house cleaned by them regularly, however I did not receive a response.

I didn’t care for it too much. By the time they did everything, I didn’t feel like there was a noticeable difference. Their customer service was good and they were pleasant. I didn’t have any other problems with them.

We used Ash Maids for our new house and they did a fantastic job so we used them again to clean the town home we were moving out of and once again they did a fantastic job. They charged us the quoted price and came out when they said they were going to.

The cleaner arrived right around the expected time. Spent a bunch of time spot spraying trouble spots in the house. He then went about steam-cleaning the whole house, plus 2 staircases.

It was alright but not what I expected. They didn’t show up when they supposed to and they said that they could not find my house. I had to call them back at least twice to get the service scheduled. I was not satisfied with the service and everything was not as clean as I thought it should have been. They missed some places and didn’t dust like I thought they should have particularly the bathrooms.

When I called Ash Maids to schedule the service, I spoke with someone who said that we were outside the service area and that the only way they would come is if we paid $265 rather than the specified deal value. I had confirmed Ash Maid's service area via the website and we were inside it. Additionally, they mentioned that they supported Loudoun County and our house is about as close to the Ash Maids location as possible, within Loudoun County. We were told that their system wouldn't even let them schedule an appointment without the additional charge. Disappointed, I told him I would have to think about it and call back. I called back the next day and this time I spoke to a woman who was very friendly and had no problem setting up the appointment so I assumed that it was a fluke the night before, especially since I had been told that there was no way to schedule it in their system. So, all was good until the scheduled appointment time the next week. At the end of the two hour window that we were given, I decided to call Ash Maids and see when they would arrive. At that point, I was told that they had cancelled our service because we didn't pay the additional charge. They had failed to take any contact information when scheduling the appointment so their only way of reaching us to let us know was via an Angie's List message. In light of them not taking any contact info, I would expect that the least they would do was send their cleaners and have the price discussion in person. We had taken the day off from work to be there for the service and had company coming into town so this was very frustrating on its own. When we spoke to them on the phone and again talked to the same person as our first call, he gave a new list of reasons for not doing the work. He said that they looked at county records and our house was too big even though we had clearly discussed with them that we were only looking for a subset of rooms to be cleaned which was well below their stated 7 rooms or 2,000 square feet. He kept saying that their deal listing included disclaimers that it didn't (about the size and locations serviced). We asked him to honor the deal and he refused several times. I expressed my frustration and mentioned that we would be leaving a disappointed review to which he told us to do so because our review doesn't matter so we ended the conversation. About 15 minutes later, after we already found a much more friendly company to do the work the next day, we got a call back from a scheduler at Ash Maids offering to do the work for the agreed upon price the next day. I was very surprised that the gentleman I had spoken to before had made one of his employees call us to do the right thing rather than calling himself. In the end, we were very happy with the company that we ended up hiring who bent over backwards to help us out. We declined the service from Ash and don't recommend them or their Angie's List Deals at all.

We called them out and in the same day they came out to our new home. The carpets were left in pretty bad shape from the prior owners and there were even a few areas (one area in front of master and one set of stairs) that we thought were so bad we would have to get them replaced. They came out and cleaned our carpets and they look brand new, even the area we thought we would have to get replaced does not need to anymore. We are going to use them again when we move out of our old place because they did such a great job.

They said they couldn't honor the deal because I was not a new customer. I had used them the year previous when they were operating under a different name. I was disappointed they didn't let me know what they could do for the $159.00.

Well they are a big improvement over our last maid service
