Description of Work: I selected Ash Maids, as I purchased one of the BIG DEALS. It was totally worth the money. They did a great job, but there is one thing that I would say you need to ck, if you are paying for 4 hours of maid service, for example. Are they sending 4 people for 1 hour or 2 people for 2 hours, as it could make a difference. It was my first experience with this company, and I felt comfortable with 2 people roaming my home for the first time, as I could ck on them. Four people was a bit difficult. Also, they came a half hour too early. The cleaning job was excellent, though.

Description of Work: We purchased The Big Deal offer from Ash Maids House Cleaning for 3 hours of cleaning for $75. We knew going into it that the 3 hours would either be one person for 3 hours, or 2 people for an hour and a half. I had no trouble with my scheduling request, and the team arrived within the 8:30 - 9:00 window that was promised. The team lead paused to go over with me what was to be done. They went straight to work, and worked non-stop until time was up. We have a small, 3-level town house, of which only the first two floors were to be cleaned - three bedrooms, two baths, kitchen and living/dining room. (The dining room is in the throes of a renovation, so only the floor in this area needed to be cleaned.) Do make sure that all straightening and tidying is done before the cleaners arrive. This is generally always a good idea, but is even more important when there is the time constraint of a 90 minute window in which to get all of the cleaning done. Do make sure to take time out before the team gets started to apprise them of your preference for how something is to be cleaned (e.g. white vinegar and water on hard wood flooring) . If you have hard wood floors that need more than just a thorough vacuuming, be sure to specify to damp mop NOT wet mop them. (I did not specify this and the wood floors were wet mopped - the way one does in the kitchen. I did not discover this until after the mopping was nearly complete. In my opinion, wet mopping is too much water for hard wood floors. Damp mopping with a vinegar and water solution is sufficient.) Be prepared to accept that not all of what is supposed to get cleaned will get cleaned. In the end, when the clock stopped, the kitchen floor was not cleaned - BUT, my bathrooms were a disaster. I think it's fair to say that had my bathrooms not required so much attention, my kitchen floor would not have been overlooked. Honestly, for the price, I was delighted with the end result.
