It took longer than we expected. We had to stay in a hotel for one day while the carpet dried. They didn't use the machine that they wanted to use because of where the unit was located, so the carpet wasn't really as clean as I hoped it would be and it took too long to dry. I would tell a friend or a family member to be clear on what they want them to do.

Guy was great. He came in and saw the space and explained the deal that we had purchased. He even made a phone call to verify that we didn't have to pay additional fees as his invoice had showed. He was fast and efficient and the carpet looks brand new. Trouble spots that I had tried multiple times to clean are gone! Gave great tips to help the carpets dry faster. Great job and would hire again in a heartbeat!

A team of three cleaned and vacuumed the house and even put the sheets and duvet on the bed.

In order to get our security deposit back, we had to get the wall-to-wall carpet cleaned in a 3-story townhouse we had rented. Ash Maids had a really great deal on AL and they were able to do the job the next day. I met with our technician Mario at the property and he was fully prepared and understood the job we needed. He was super-nice and very professional. Mario did a fantastic job and it didn't even take as long as I thought it would. He texted me when he was done and I met him back at the property. That was that! The carpets looked like new. He was very thorough and even cleaned the vertical sides of every step on the stairs. Mario was really great and my husband & I were very impressed with his work, as was our property manager. Most important of all, we got our security deposit back!!! Thank you Mario and Ash Maids. ASH Maids answered all my emails promptly, were cheaper than other providers, and extremely professional. They provided a binding quote and overall did everything they said - and did it well. Very pleased!

The provider did a quick wipe over. The living room and entrance area was visibly, partially vacuumed. This was evident by debris still residing in the cracks of the steps as you enter my home. The living area furniture was not dusted. Overall, when I returned home later that day my visitors or I didn't notice that the house was cleaned. However, the kitchen was noticeably cleaned. I called Ash Maids and complained about the services, and nothing was done in return to correct the problem. I was hoping to have a company to come on a continuous basis, but unfortunately I have to keep searching.

Cleaned House from top to bottom. Maids did a good job of removing dirt and dust. Place was pretty clean when they were done.

Tech was on time, courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and hard working. Looked at each room and shampooed each carpet thoroughly.

Mario, the technician arrived on time and was professional in appearance and demeanor. Mario demonstrated expertise and attention to detail during the cleaning process. He was careful with his equipment and took steps to protect my home and furniture. Mario also displayed excellent customer service by helping move furniture and taking time to explain carpet care methods. This was my first service call from Ash Maids and I will definitely hire them again to clean my carpets.

The BEST job anyone's ever done.

Overall, the cleaning went well. There were several spots that could have been done better, for example some of our granite countertops and a large area rug in our dining room were completely missed. Baseboards were not done either. Floors and everything else looked good. I would recommend them but make sure to look carefully after they finish.

My first Angie's list review having been a member for over 8 years. This was a horrible experience. My townhouse in Arlington had been completely painted, ceilings, and walls from top to bottom 1 week prior to Ash maids showing up over an hour late due to their inefficiencies at scheduling through their big deal. Upon arrival the two women whom spoke little to no English didn't understand what I was telling them as they started to wipe down the walls and the floors which didn't need to be cleaned as they were freshly painted and the floors had already been recently vacuumed and cleaned by me personally. All they needed to do was clean the kitchen appliances which were empty, Fridge, Stove, microwave, wipe down the cabinets, clean the sink, clean the 2.5 bathrooms in the house as well as 5 windows a sliding glass door. After I thought I finally explained that the walls and floor did not need to be done I left the home and went to a lunch meeting. Upon my return I found the one woman cleaning the floors and the other woman trying to put the fridge back together unsuccessfully. I aided them at putting the fridge shelving back together and found that I was missing a glass insert to one of the shelfs. When I asked where the shelf was they looked at me as if they didn't understand me. They called the office and put me on the phone again with the translator. The translator told me that they broke the glass so I needed to give the model number etc? so they could send me a replacement. No question that they were not going to tell me about the broken glass unless I found this out. The only glass I found was some on the floor and some in the sink when I finished the cleaning when they left. They sent me a piece of glass that was the wrong size but I didn't give them a complaint because they made an effort to make it right. (I'm a business owner that deals with unreasonable complaints as well so I don't like to give unreasonable complaints) I want to be clear. This was not a tenant move out cleaning. I was the owner occupier and as I said the home was 100% freshly painted and the floors were clean upon their arrival. They were to just detail the bathrooms, kitchen, and windows to get the home ready for showing. None of which were disgusting. Just needed to be wiped down and detailed. Again, they did not accomplish this as one of them cleaned the floors the entire time. So now to the reason for my complaint. To make matters worse upon moving in my tenants used the garbage disposal and it doesn't work due to being full of glass from them breaking the shelf in the sink and washing the glass down the drain into the garbage disposal. This is going to cost me around $500 to replace I assume as I don't think it can be fixed. (The disposal was salvageable. The plumber only had to dismantle it and remove the glass which was confirmed to be from the broken shelf due to the white dots on it. This only cost around $200) I did not put this complaint up right away. I called ASH maids and explained the situation to hopefully have them do the right thing which is either fix or replace the relatively new garbage disposal. I would have even split the cost with them if they made an effort. The owner ASH spoke with me rudely and said I'm the problem. How do I know it was his employees since it has been so long since the cleaning? I explained that the home was vacant until a few days ago so I know it was his employees whom broke the glass and sent it down the disposal and not the tenants or anyone else. He said well its been to long I can't do anything. I own up to problems my home improvement employees cause for my customers. This company does not. Do not use them if you want to deal with someone that does the right thing should there be a problem with their service. They were immediately on the defensive pushing blame on me or something else. Not the type of company you want to do business with. As a new landlord, I'm going to have the disposal fixed for my new tenants at my own cost right away. The glass had little white dots on it from the fridge. I'm sure there will be glass with little white dots on it in the disposal as proof that this was a result from their crew. The crew was probably scared to tell management that they broke something hearing the way Ash spoke to me. I'm sure he treats his employees worse than his customers and that is why they don't share with him when they mess up. This is a company culture thing and not the type of company I would want to do business with. Had I known I would have been dealing with this type of company I would have just rolled up my sleeves and cleaned my house myself, (which I ended up doing pretty much anyways.) It's unfortunate that I had to post this negative review.

I purchased an Angie's Deal for carpet cleaning. I selected Ash Maids among the many different carpet cleaning offers because they were highly rated, and covered the biggest area for the lowest price, including halls, stairways, etc. (I had well under the maximum square footage). And while their deal only covered one staircase, and I had two, I was willing to pay the extra $35 for the second staircase above and beyond the $199 deal price (it still ended up a better price than most others, some of which didn't include any stairs at all). I purchased the deal a few months before I was planning on scheduling the cleaning, but didn't have a difficult time scheduling once I was ready in January. On the day of service, Ash Maids' representative (1 person) showed up early in the morning, at the appointed time. I have a three story townhome, so he parked in the driveway and took the cleaning hose into the front door and up the stairs to all needed areas (there are carpeted areas on the first and third floors, and both staircases are carpeted. He spent a good amount of time going over everything. I had tried to move most small things off the floor, but he took care of moving anything else that was practical to move, which I appreciated. One small challenge was that the truck's tank didn't have enough water in it to cover the entire house, so I had to open up my outdoor faucet in the back of the house (I don't have one in the front). Since I had already shut off and drained the water for the winter, I had to turn it all back on again -- but that wasn't a big problem, just something to be aware of that you might need an extra water source for the cleaning. Re: quality, I think they did a pretty good job overall, and I did notice some difference. But I'm a little disappointed that the carpets didn't look even better, especially since I had understood that Berber carpets supposedly clean up really nicely. Note that although I had never had the carpets cleaned before (they are 14 years old), we don't wear shoes in the house, have no pets or kids, and they didn't have any major stains or anything except normal wear and tear. And they are clean, but not "wow" clean. Of course, because of the age of the carpets, I also did have those dark filtration stain lines near baseboards, and while I didn't have expectations that these would disappear entirely I'd hoped a professional cleaning would address those better, but they're mostly still there. :-) Anyway, all in all, I'm glad I had it done, and would consider using Ash Maids again for carpet cleaning.

I bought this as a gift for a friend after a party. No idea how it actually worked out.

I wanted my furniture vaccuumed, but they beat it like they did in old days. They unraveled the tassles on one of couches, and they had never mentioned it to me. I later found it. I also had trouble communicating with one of the workers. They broke an antique piece and would not replace it. They ended up refunding my money.

Ash Maids was on time and reasonably priced. They worked fast but didn't perform a bad job. When they left the house was very clean and beautiful.

Ash Maids arrived on time and ready to get the job done. We walked through the area to be cleaned and after looking at my original request the tech noted that I wasn't using up the square feet of cleaning that I had purchased. I asked if I could trade the remaining square feet for the second stairway. He looked at the stairs and said yes. He was careful of the furniture, used appropriate protection for the table, chair, and couch feet and prepped before beginning the cleaning. He also worked to remove stains wherever he found them. I was not surprised that one of the stains would not come out, we had attempted to clean it before. However, he made a good effort and was disappointed that he couldn't remove the stain. His overall approach to the task, his flexibility in applying the square feet to what I wanted cleaned, and his level of effort all made me glad that I selected Ash Maids for carpet cleaning.
