Description of Work: Bought an Angie's List Big Deal for 3 hours of housekeeping for $75. I got what I paid for. The company was good about scheduling on a weekend only a week in advance. The housekeepers cleaned the house thoroughly. They brought their own equipment and supplies.

Description of Work: The staff showed up on time, but were complaining from the get go, about how less they get paid. I speak spanish and the lady kept calling me stupid in her language. I was very upset and called their supervisor, she apologized. I will not be using this company again. She kept asking for a tip again and again. The service was for 90 minutes and they stopped cleaning 10 minutes before. I asked them to keep cleaning the bathroom, and she got upset about the basement bathroom.

Description of Work: It was a promotion through Angie's list 3 hours cleaning for $75. But they wanted $225 for complete house cleaning. We accepted, but the maids have to leave early, and unable to complete cleaning so they charged us $195 instead. They cleaned our bedrooms good but 1st floor and basement were lousy. :(

Description of Work: Very disappointing. I was having a large holiday party the next day. My house was not too dirty to begin with but I didn't have time to make it as clean as I wanted, so I hired Ash Maids. Two workers were supposed to clean most of two of three floors in my house for 3 hours(6 man hours), which was enough to make my house sparkle. The rooms were kitchen, living room, family room, dining room, office, 3 bedrooms and 3 and 1/2 baths. Two guests are allergic to cats and I have four, so animal hair and dander was a big concern. I used an Angie's list coupon, Several areas were not done at all such as vacuuming furniture, cleaning handrails, doors, window sills, stove hood, under the rugs, cobwebs in corners, kitchen cabinet doors, vacuuming entire carpet (they were not asked to vacuum under furniture), powder room toilet base. Wood floors were not done as I asked with my floor wax, and did not look as if they were done at all. I asked for the furniture to be polished instead of just dusted. The head worker did not know what I was talking about ,even though I had gotten an OK on it on the phone when I made the appointment. She polished the some furniture poorly, giving each piece 1 or 2 quick swipes and left many pieces not done at all, including two armoires. The master bath shower floor was not cleaned well. I asked that several things be redone. The leader, who spoke English, laughed at me and argued with me about everything, saying she had already done it, when it was clearly not clean. They "finished" early and packed up before I could check things. So, they had to unpack their materials and come back in. The head cleaner insisted they leave after exactly 3 hours anyway, even though my house wasn't clean and time had been wasted on arguing and packing and unpacking.

Description of Work: Vacuumed the carpetng, swabbed the kitchen, foyer, and bathroom flooring (2 1/2). Dusted the furniture. Dleaned the bathrooms. Cleaned/dusted the blinds. Cleaned the stove (Garland commercial) and microwave. Neatly folded the towels in the bathrooms in a unique way..

Description of Work: We bought an Angie's List Deal -- $75 for 3 hours of cleaning. We called that morning & they had people available -- so we got the work done the same day, which was great! They sent 2 cleaners to work for 1.5 hours (i.e., 3 person-hours total), who followed our directions on priorities (spend the time to 'dust everything' and 'vacumn' on the main floor and upstairs) and got right to work. They dusted blinds, windows, furniture, shelves, baseboards, probably more; and vacuumed everything in sight.

Description of Work: They removed the water from the basement, applied an application to the rug to prevent mold, left fans to dry out the basement, They returned a few days later to make sure everything was OK and to pick up the fans.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for three hours of housecleaning. They cleaned a three story home, all common areas, including 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, kitchen, bar, living areas. They vacuumed, dusted, mopped, swept, and scrubbed.

Description of Work: Two maids did a complete and thorough job of 1.5 hours of cleaning. I asked them to use my products and materials which they did. They also allowed me to inspect the rooms 15 minutes before they were done in case i had any last minute items to request. Only one of the maids spoke a little English, but we were able to communicate fine.

My house is about 1500 sq feet and thus I didn't expect the entire house to be cleaned and explained to the rep on the phone that if the cleaners could focus on the downstairs and my master bedroom and bath, I'd be happy. The ladies arrived on time and so super efficient that they finished my entire house except for the sunroom (which I asked them not to clean anyway) in 1.5 hours (3 hours total). I was impressed. Were they 100% perfect? No, but I'm not picky and they did a great job overall. My house looks very clean and smells so fresh...I'll definitelly be using them in the future...
