They did a fine job; very good, and they were thorough. We were comfortable having them in our home. I was very pleased with them!

They were great and did a really good job! The ladies they sent were very respectful, friendly and they were able to communicate well enough; we really enjoyed their services. They have come out twice, and I was so happy to come home to a clean house ! They were so great and I would definitely have them out again.

They did a fine job, they were prompt, they were very clear about what they could accomplish while they were, and they were very realistic for the 3 hours of house cleaning with two people. I was pleased with the service for the first cleaning! They were quick and worked the entire time. They offered to do more services to fill up their time slot and I thought that was very nice of them! They went above and behind!

Since I have not had house cleaners before, I do not know what is reasonable to expect from these people. I would have liked them to do a more thorough cleaning without me having to request that areas be re-done.

Reina, Martha, and Desi arrived at our place on time, were incredibly friendly, and did a very thorough job on a house that suffers from the abuse of twin toddlers and a dog (and often the neglect of two worn out parents). This is the second time we've hired Ash Maids, and I'll surely hire them again given the pleasant experience thus far and very reasonable pricing.

I had no trouble scheduling a housecleaning, purchased for $75 as a Big Deal, on the date i requested. The two person crew arrived an hour late without a phone call. They worked quickly and efficiently, completing the job in the 90 minutes promised. The cleaning job was good enough but nothing special. The cleaners did not remove a visible coffee stain on the front hall table -- pretty tough to miss-- and did not do a good job on the floors, which were dull after they finished. (They vacuumed area rugs and mopped the wood floors around the carpets without lifting the rugs.) That said, the two ladies were friendly and polite. I am going to stay with the crew I have been using for 3 years instead of switching to Ash's.

they did an excellent job cleaning our home. We wanted to set up a regular service. Unfortunately, we reside outside of their normal service area, and were unable to accomodate us at this time. Thanks!

Our house is definitely much cleaner than it usually is, but we're disappointed with the results nonetheless. We've only had housecleaning services twice before this (once before hosting a party, once before selling a house), and both of those cleanings were much more thorough. When I called to schedule the service, I was told that they send crews of three cleaners out, so that the total time would be one hour. I scheduled with that in mind - an arrival window of 8:30-9AM on a day when I had to leave by 10:30. At 9, when they hadn't shown up yet, I called their office, and the dispatcher said she'd call the maids and call me right back with an ETA. She never called back, and at 9:25AM, just as picked up the phone to call again, two cleaning ladies rang the doorbell. Two, not three, so the cleaning would take 90 minutes. Fortunately, my wife was able to stay home after I left. It didn't take 90 minutes, though. My wife looked at the clock after they walked out the door, and it was 10:40AM, so we got 30 minutes less cleaning than we paid for (15 minutes, 2 people). If they finished 15 minutes early and the house was sparkling clean, we'd be totally happy with that. However, their work was sloppier than the other two maid services we've hired. They threw away a bunch of Tupperware lids in the kitchen (I fished them out of the garbage - hopefully they didn't throw anything else away after I left), and they didn't clean any dishes. Instead, they put dirty dishes in the dishwasher, which had clean dishes in it that were there to air dry (the front of the dishwasher even had a "CLEAN" sign on it). When they left, the (hardwood & tile) floors in most rooms still had material on them that would've been removed with a good mopping. The carpeted bedroom had clumps of cat fur on it after they vacuumed. And when I came home in the afternoon, I found that as they finished up, they placed their full garbage bag directly in front of the garage door, blocking my entry until I moved it. (There's ample space along the side of the garage, where there's a paved parking apron). We're also disappointed in Angie's list with respect to this service. Ash Maids has a rather high rating on Angie's List, and it also has a marketing deal with Angie's List for this coupon. I can't help but wonder if these two facts are related, given that Ash Maid's rating on another popular rating site is very low. At the time of this posting, on that other site, they have 6 one-star reviews, 1 five-star review, and 1 four-star review. This company's Angie's List rating does NOT reflect the quality of their work OR their ratings on a competing review service..

The technician was very courteous and a hard worker. It looks like he got most of the stains out of the living room carpet, but none of the pet stains seemed to come out.

This company is named Advance Maid Cleaning Services, NOT Ash Maids House Cleaning. For this significant discount, they performed a deep cleaning house service, which was excellent. Two ladies worked for over three hours on our first and second floor. We plan to use them on a regular basis for regular house cleaning. We have used three other services over the past year, and we rate this service the best.

Overall I felt from start to finish that the project was on track and never faulterd. The ending was remarkable as they addressed each facet of the toil at hand. I am disabled and they realized that I needed help and almost in a motherly way took over and when finished, this basement apartment looked just like when my mother used to give it the Saturday polish and glistening when I was a kid.. There was some home improvement work done here where there was grit from jackhammering interior brick design work. Fine powder all over everything that was not too visually obvious. But when removed I could sence that it was gone and I could breath better and felt really good that it was removed. They did not know this but I checked the dust whern they left and there was none. Surfaces were genuinely clean. The products for cleaning that they used were also nice too.

When they left most was okay but they left a little before 1.5 hours were up. I wouldn't have minded so much but the kitchen counters weren't cleaned or done so poorly. Same applied to the kitchen floor. This should have been completed by either skipping the 2 specified bedrooms or staying the full 1.5 hours. I purchase these big deals to try out cleaning services so that when I am back in the work force I know who i would like to clean regularly. Based on this cleaning it won't be ash Maids.

Ash Maids were very easy to work with and did an excellent job. I had to reschedule this service and was cheerfully accommodated. They sent 2 ladies who worked very hard cleaning a VERY dirty house (dog, young child, FT working couple.) I'm in the process of organizing our house and they worked around piles and asked good questions. They weren't able to get through everything during the time allotted, but I am VERY pleased with what they were able to accomplish. I will definitely use them again.

This was a standard-cleaning service. There wasn't much to complain about, but nothing much to sing of either. Given the discount applied, I have no doubts it was worth what was paid. My chief complaint was that they finished about 30 minutes early and left with nary an announcement or a discussion about what might have been done with the remaining time. I would use this service again, but not at full price.

I purchased three hours of house cleaning services through Angie's List "Big Deal". Three ladies arrived early and ready to go. They were fast and did a GREAT job. They dusted everywhere and moved articles off shelves, tables, etc and didn't just 'feather dust' around everything. They did a wonderful job of cleaning the kitchen, bathrooms and all rooms. This company was definitely one of the best companies that I have ever used. I am considering using them on a regular basis if the price is right. Highly recommend this company.

They were on time and they finish promptly and completed the job by meeting and exceeding our expectations. They were thorough and paid attention to the small details. I would highly recommend their service.

I called Ash Maids for a $75 housecleaning special. I requested a cleaning crew that had at least on English-speaking member. The crew showed up 3 hours late. "Do you speak English?" "A leetle." I have had terrible experiences in the past with cleaners who did not speak English. Hundreds in damages. I sent them away and called Ash Maids. They promised to send a crew which had an English-speaking person. Haven't heard from them since. Didn't pay them so we are square. I am still looking for house cleaning.

This is the best cleaning service we've ever had in NoVA! They even arrived a few minutes early and did an extremely thorough job on the house, even getting behind areas we've never even touched. We would recommend them to anyone who wants a top notch job at a reasonable price!

Having never hired anyone to clean my house, I don't really have anything to which to compare Ash Maid's housecleaning services. That said, I was quite pleased with the results. The AM staff were friendly, efficient, and effective. There were a few spots that could have used a little extra TLC (a cobweb here or there, stairs seemed only vacuumed not dusted, coffee table wasn't wiped down), but overall, it was an incredible deal for $75 (we got an Angie's list deal) so I can't complain. We're not sure if we're going to hire housecleaning on a routine basis, but I'll likely call Ash Maids if we decide to go that route.

Two ladies arrived on time, quickly went to work and allowed review of the work prior to leaving.

Caveat: Home was already in very clean condition. Thus, I expected the home to be even more spotless after the move. Problem areas: grease/grime on top of microwave, kitchen counter "rim" (don't know what that's called), and rim of stovetop. I know these are small details, but nonetheless. Also, I asked them to pay extra attention to cleaning the doors, but the inside of the front door was still filthy and was not touched, as far as I could tell.

Very good. Early start, professional service.

The two girls were excellent at what they did. But they informed me they would do only limited cleaning. Other services did more for less.

I received great service from them.
