Exceptionally terrible experience! After waiting 2 month for a simple repair, I am now trying to get my initial service call fee back. The merchant NEVER provided a status of the parts they had allegedly ordered. I must have called this people 10 times trying to get a status and every time, they would give a new date they would not keep.

All went well, which I was very grateful for. I'm planning on replacing both my washer and dryer as part of a remodeling project, so I was very happy not to have to shop & have to make that decision now. Sammy was polite & punctual, which I'm always grateful for.

I was refered by a friend of mine to this company ,when I called they were able to send some one the same day ,the tech showed up in the window given ,I had a leaky water valve ,he was able to fix it ,after he finished I asked him to service my dishwasher..he did a great job. The bill came to $325 between the 2 appliances , the angies list coupon was great ,took it down to $275,overall every thing went well

The dishwasher was leaking water when it was on. The technitian told me that the problem was a bad center assembly and that it would cost between labor and parts over $400.00, that it was better to purchase a new one. I had to call sears, purchase a one year warranty plan that costed $216.00 US in additiona to what I paid this people. Finally the problem was a lose hose connection underneath the dishwasher that was causing the leake. This was repaired by Sears technitian. I don't think I will use this people again.

Our refrigerator that we have in our garage stopped working, so I called Appliance repair. They were out the next day. The gentleman explained what was going with our frig and how he was going to fix it. He was very polite and did a great job.

He came an hour late. When I called to ask when he would show up, the guy on the phone essentially said it was my fault because I had missed the technician's call to my cell at 11:30. Silly me, I thought the call was a courtesy to me to let me know when he would arrive, I didn't understand missing the call means that the guy doesn't have to show up at all. When I suggested to the dispatcher that they should make this clearer when the appointments are made, he indicated that I "just should know that this is how it works". In other words, in the dispatcher's view, it's my fault that the repair guy came at 1:00, instead of during the 9:00 to 12:00 window as promised, even though they had my home number and only tried my cell. Honestly, I wouldn't have cared as much if the dispatcher had been nicer or more apologetic about it. The repairman himself was perfectly nice.

My GE side by side stopped cooling altogether on the 28th of May. I went directly to Angie's List and made contact with Appliance Repair Leaders LLC. I got an email right away asking me to call and set up an appointment, which I did. Ralph, my tech came the next day the 29th at 12:00 noon. He called before arriving to let me know that he was on route. Once he had evaluated what was problem, he wrote up what needed to be done and the cost. The estimate was more than I expected, but I had printed out a $55.00 coupon that the company offered. I was so pleased that I had the coupon and pleased that I did not have to buy a new refrigerator! I will call Appliance Repair LLC again if need be and ask for Ralph, who was a very professional worker. I supplied him with a hair dryer, towel and a pot of hot water and he did job!

I called yesterday, which was a holiday, but someone answered the phone. I was able to schedule for the next day with a 3 hr window. The technician called about 15 minutes before he came. He went right to work and was able to quickly find my problem. Would use them again as quick turnaround time is usually a factor.

The technician called before his arrival and arrived on time. The inspection and repair work took approximately three hours to complete. During the process of testing/inspecting the three appliances, the technician explained what he was doing and looking for. Once completed, he tested both the oven and washing machine to make sure that the new parts were working properly. I was very satisfied with the work and the technician was very helpful with answering questions. He moved both the oven and washing machine back in place and cleaned up after himself before leaving. If I needed an appliance repaired in the future, I would use them again. I used an AL coupon for this repair.

ii used appliance repair leaders few times for my fridge before and this time my dryer quit heating ,like usual they showed up in the three hour window as promised ,sammy was able to figure the problem quickly ,it was a boroken heating element ,he had it in stock and was able to fix it right away.the price was overall ok .still cheaper than a new dryer. thank you

Appliance repair Leaders LLC were able respond to me most of the time, and were able to finish the job quickly. They are reliable, prompt always, fix any problem, and responsive.

The service provider arrived near the end of the three hour window 3:30 to 4pm (1pm to 4pm) that the service dispatcher had quoted. The service provider on site stated that parts to repair the malfunctioning buzzer alarm were no longer available from GE the manufacturer. The best source is Ebay. The service provider asked for a chair or step ladder (did not bring his own). I provided a four step ladder. He moved the gas stove out from it's cubby hole, opened up the stove chassie where the clock and clock alarm were located and then disconnected the clock and alarm. This was satisfactory. Of course we would have liked a repair solution. The price was on par with what I have had other service calls prior to this call for this stove. A simple service call without a repair I think I recall was $59.

Fast response and punctual on the day of service. Technician quickly diagnosed problem with the pump and luckily had one in his truck. It's been a few weeks and so far the dishwasher is working fine. Cost a little more than I expected but I guess that's true with everything these days. Used coupon from AL.

When I called, I told them what the problem was but the technician arrived he told me exactly what I had told them when I had called and charged $60 for the analysis. That was to applied to the cost of repair, if done. Since we already in for the sixty, I told them to go ahead with the repair, which they did. My complaint is that the analysis was unnecessary.

Upon arriving technican asked several questions about the machine including the problem I was experiencing with the machine; turned the washer machine on and let it run full cycle to assess the promblem check all vital parts of the machine before recommending a practical solution.

Salim did a great job on repairing my refridgerator (it stopped cooling). He arrived within the established timeframe, quickly diagnosed the problem (burned out switchboard and relay), and fixed it in less than an hour. I would hire him again.

This is about the third time we used Appliance Repair Leaders and they've been great every time. They are always courteous, responsive, prompt and efficiently repair our older appliances. We've been lucky enough to get Sammy for each repair and he is excellent! He always has practical suggestions for dealing with older appliances (i.e when to give up the ghost and buy a new one). I trust his judgment on what repairs to make. I've found the repair prices to be fair and have been able to use Angie's List coupons each time. In short, I would recommend them to my friends and will continue to use them until all of old appliances have been replaced!

My fridge went out in the middle of the summer so I had to find someone quickly. I looked around on Angie's list and called about 5 companies with good ratings. Of these, only Appliance Repair Leaders could send someone out the following day and I greatly appreciated that. The technician came on time. First he replaced one part (defrost thermostat), then he decided he needs to replace another part (defrost timer) and then another (relay/compressor). In the end, the fridge was working, but I will say I felt a bit scammed about the whole process. Was it really not so clear what was the problem? The technician did not say all three will need to be replaced upfront. In the end, I paid 335.00 and that was after some bargaining. The pricing did not seem transparent at all. I felt frustrated by my experience but my fridge was working so I did not feel like I should complain. Maybe that's how that process works? Then seven months later I noticed plenty of frost in the back of the bottom freezer (it is a bottom freezer fridge). Their warranty is for six months so I was not about to call them back. I called another company and had a dramatically different experience when it comes to transparency. Once it was all done, the technician told me it was the defrost timer, so I told him that I think it was replaced seven months earlier. He thought this could not have been the case because what he took out looked like an original part. So I went digging for the Appliance Repair Leaders invoice and there it was--they replaced the defrost timer just seven months earlier. The fridge is about 10-15 years old so I would not think it would be acceptable to be putting in a part that old.

The repair person arrived on time and was able to fix the washer. We would use this company again.

He showed up on time, worked efficiently and well, and fixed the problem the first time. The repairman, Sammy, knows what he is doing and doesn't waste your time. He also cleans up after himself.

i used the self clean ,the next day the oven was not heating at all i called appliance repair leaders to get an appointment ,they were able to put me in the very next day sammy showed up on time (in the time window as promised) .he was able to find the problem . i had 2 issues a broken blower motor(was making loud noises) and a blown thermostat 3 days later i had my oven fixed ..Sammy came back with the parts he had to pull the oven all the way out ,replaced the parts ,tested the oven and cleaned after him self ,he was very professional and faaast!! i am very pleased with the experience i had with this company .ill use them again if i had to

Our Kitchenaid double oven stopped working after Thanksgiving while a helpful relative tried to use its self-cleaning features. We used Angie's list to locate a contractor who could repair it. We selected Appliance Repair Leaders who said they could do the job. When the tech showed up, he opened the control panel of the oven and said that a fuse connected to the oven's controller board had blown and that unfortunately the company didn't make replacement fuses for them them any more. He said that he could help by using a thin piece of wire in place of the fuse. I had my doubts, but he assured me that it was safe. When that didn't work, he said that the controller board had gone bad. He said he would check into it later, but after a day, he said he couldn't get one. He suggested that I try to find one elsewhere. I'd paid the contractor $89.00 for the house call. I found a company on line that sold replacement boards, but I was told that unless it was defective, I couldn't return it. The replacement board, including transportation cost $522.00. I ordered the board and when it arrived, I called Appliance Repair Leaders and asked for the company to send someone to install it. They sent another tech out to do the job. After he installed the new board, the oven still didn't work. He said the wire replacement fuse was the problem and that I would need to find a real fuse. He said the company wasn't making them anymore and that he couldn't get one. I called a new contractor and explained the problem to him. He said he knew what the problem was. He arrived at my home and the first thing he did was pull the oven entirely out of the wall. This is something the original contractor didn't do. On the back part of the oven was another fuse, and that was the one that had blown. He went right out to his truck and got a replacement for that fuse. In addition, he got a replacement fuse for the controller board. After reinstalling the oven with the replacement fuses, it worked. It's clear to me that the original contractor didn't know what it was doing. It didn't do a good job in diagnosing the problem, and I put out $522 that I didn't need to put out in reliance upon what the tech told me was the problem. The new board is now in the oven, and I can't very well try to get the parts company to take the old board as a restock. I've been trying to get in touch with somebody from the contractor to resolve this problem, but every time I call, the manager is in a meeting. He never calls me back. I did speak with someone named Victor who asked me to fax in the invoice from the other contractor, but nobody from their company has followed up. Nobody wants to take a loss, but in this case, it's unfair for the loss to fall on me. If this were a real "stand-up" company, it would refund the $89 for its service call and buy the old board from me for the $522.00.

We had two different repairmen come to help us with our refrigerator from Appliance Repair Leaders. Both were able to work around our busy work schedules and showed up when they said they would. The first service call was on or around 09/15/2013, and the person who came out checked our water line and the functionality of our water dispenser and ice machine. Nothing was getting through and he determined that the first step would be to defrost the line in case it had frozen over. This seemed perfectly reasonable given that we'd only recently purchased our house, so the fridge had probably been on but unused for months. We appreciated that they tried to fix the cheapest problem first, as opposed to replacing a bunch of stuff off the bat. So we found a day when we could turn off the fridge (after making some impressively weird dinners with an eye towards using the leftovers in there) and let it defrost. No luck. We called to get our second service visit. The second person to come out picked up where the first left off and quickly figured out that the prior owner had abused the water filter housing, which now needed to be replaced. He popped a new one in and, voila, we had a working water dispenser and ice machine. I thought the price was reasonable and they waived the charge for the first service visit.

The technician that reported to do the inspection was courteous, responsive and professional. He took the time to explain what he was actually looking to observe and some practices to extend the life of the appliances.

Never use these folks if you are waiting for the service repairman and are on a conference call!!! I was trying to wrap up a conference call when the service repairman tried to call and was waiting outside. Rather than ring the doorbell and see if I was home, the repairman left without giving me notice of his presence outside. I called within 5 minutes of his phone call and was informed that I had to reschedule for another day. I will never use this vendor again. How much effort does it take to ring the doorbell????
