AP Lawn Mower Repair

I brought my Echo PB-580T blower in to be repaired it had the wrong gas put in it by accident and seized up but wasn't run long and I hoped it wasn't damaged. After about 10 days they called me saying it was not worth repairing and I needed to buy a new one. Then they said we will be happy to dispose of it for you which made me very suspicious because the blower is practically new and they where like well you need to come get it or we will charge storage. I insisted that I would come pick it back up. I decided to take a close look at it myself. I took it apart and it became clear to me that they never even tried to take it apart. All the screws were clearly factory tight and had never been broken free by anyone. So I removed the spark plug and sprayed a tiny bit of WD40 in it and let it sit for about 5 min. The pull start immediately freed up and seemed to have good compression. I then blew out the chamber and let it sit. Refilled with new gas and it started right up and is running fine. They charged me around $45 dollars and did nothing. I feel like they may have known it was an easy repair and just wanted me to buy a new machine so they could fix mine or maybe wanted to sell it. Not sure but I can guarantee I will never go back to them again for any repairs. They should be embarrased for even charging me when it's very clear they didn't even try to fix it but on the bright side at least I didn't have to spend $360 on a new one.
