It seemed great. Matt showed up as scheduled quoted a price ($400) and said they could do the work in about a week, he would send a written proposal/estimate. I've never heard from them since - a follow up email to him was never answered. I'm not sure this is even a real company - the office address is in Belle View but there is no lot for trucks and equipment in the area.

Went well. Did a good job cutting a path for my fence. Worked quickly and professionally. Super easy to talk to and work with. They also chopped the good trees into firewood which was helpful.

They cleaned up so nicely after the mess, including blowing some leaves back. We asked them to do an additional tree that has fallen 4 days before they were to come out. We have not gotten a final bill so I am not sure of the total cost.

It went absolutely great. They were right on time, professional, and efficient. They removed all debris and left the yard in excellent shape. I highly recommend this company and would use them again.

We purchased the Big Deal, they called quickly and came out and provided a quote fairly quickly, very friendly and competent. They gave us a quote quickly and arranged an appointment. We had more work done than the Big Deal covered. They setup an appointment for 4Dec and my husband took work off to be there for the day. THEY DID NOT SHOW UP, CALL OR RESPOND TO ANY INQUIRIES. My husband called several times with no answer and left multiple messages as well as sending emails and messaging them on Angie's List. Today I called Angie's List and requested a refund. Too bad, I thought this was a company that we could trust. Be careful if you choose them, they may not be there for you either.

They came out and quoted a price for the single tree - for full tree and stump removal at 1500. Later I added some additional trimmings which were quoted as an additional 500. I had the Angie's list coupon which reduced the price from 2000 to 1800. They did not remove the tree stump and only ground it down. I told them this was not what was quoted to me at the time the price was provided - in fact, the gentleman that quoted it went on and on about how cool it is to see the stump get yanked out of the ground. I even sent them an email before they did the work to confirm that indeed they would removing the stump and they confirmed it and that it was indeed the correct price for the work. I went with them even though they were 600 dollars more than the other places because they said they were going to remove the stump. Before and after they ground down the stump, I gave them proof that it was not what they promised. They still did not change the price or come to remove the stump. They did say that they would discount any future work, but I will not use them for future work. They are too inconsistent and I cannot trust that they are going to do what they say they are going to do.

We are absolutely satisfied with both the service and the price. Have already recommended the company to neighbors and friends. Can't go wrong with them.

Soon after I purchased the coupon an estimate was made by Matt for $600. On the scheduled day he and a 3 person team came on time, asked some questions and made a few relevant suggestions, did their work, and cleaned after themselves. They were done in about two hours. In addition to the agreed work, Matt did some light touching of other plants. I am quite satisfied with their work. All American is a family business. Maggie, the scheduler and Matt's mother, is efficient and pleasant to deal with. Matt is thoroughly experienced and leads an overall very good team.

The guys did a terrific job and now my deck is clear. They even cleaned up leaves that were accumulated in the parking area. They were very professional and I would definitely use them again. The office people were extremely helpful in coordinating the appt.

Great experience all around. Very responsive from first inquire to completion of work a few days later.

All American is great to deal with and provides excellent prices and service. It was easy to schedule an estimate appointment and meet with them to discuss the scope of the work needed. We received a great price for great work! Mike Daniel was terrific to work with and was excellent in communicating with us at all stages of the project. All American trimmed trees and bushes that had become overgrown in both my back and front yards. They trimmed some huge Crape Myrtles and Mulberry trees, along with bushes and shrubs of all shapes and sizes. All American hauled away everything and the clean up of the yard was excellent. Even with all the work they did, there wasn't even one small trimming left behind. My yard looks fantastic! We plan on using them again in the spring. I highly recommend All American Lawn and Tree Service. It's great to work with people that take pride in their work.

Matt and his team did a fantastic job to trim two large trees and remove one small tree for us today. Their price is very reasonable. During the work, they cut a few extra branches as I requested, but didn't ask for extra charge. Their services exceed my expectation. I highly recommend All American, and will use them again in the future.

We just moved into a house and weren't sure about whether a particular tree was on our property. He gave a MUCH lower price to trim the tree and did not try to sell us on other work to be done (which other competitors rated well on Angie's List did)... The tree was not on our property so we did not call them back to trim, but would use them in a heartbeat in the future.

Completely satisfied in all respects! All American was 1 of 5 companies I contacted for an estimate.They promptly responded to my request for an estimate: arriving at the scheduled time, fully explaining why work should/should not be done, what work needed to be done now and what could be deferred, and furnishing a legible, itemized invoice. All of the estimates had a slightly different scope of work. All American was not the least expensive, but offered the best combination of services for the price compared with the other estimtes. They arrived when scheduled to perform the work, one of those really hot says in early September. The crew work dilegently to get done quickly and with minimal disruption to the neighborhood. Clean-up was exceptional, leaving our lawn in better condition than when they started. Big time Kudos to Matt and his crew.

All American Lawn and Tree was terrific. We solicited three bids from various Angie's List providers, and their prices were the middle range overall. We asked for an extensive quote on several lawn and tree needs. All American was happy to provide a line item quote for each effort. We had them perform the most critical needs to keep our trees healthy plus remove two mulberries that had sprung up in a property line fence that neither our neighbors nor us wanted to try to take down due to overhead lines. When asked about the validity of the quote for the other items at a later date, like clearing fence lines affected by overgrowth from the neighboring yards and creating new shrubbery beds, we were told the prices would still be good, just let them know when we were ready. Since my family is affected by the government furloughs, the ability to plan for a price and get it done when we are ready versus an expiration date is extremely helpful. They did a thorough clean up job when finished. They took the time they needed to do the job right requiring most of the day, despite the ongoing heat wave that week, and kept me knowledgeable about what they were doing while they were here by asking about my preferences and explaining options for the tree trims. I really appreciated that their arborist took a "cut only what is needed" approach and cautioned against over-pruning. When tree limbs from the very tall oak fell into a second neighbor's yard (it is just a few feet from that property line), they coordinated with him to gain access to his property and got compliments from him, too, on the clean-up job they did. Bottom Line: I plan to have them back.

Successful tree pruning does not involve an attack on trees, such as, for example, the harmful "topping" of crepe myrtles and the complete severing of 100 year old limbs. The certified arborist/crew chief took the time to examine the trees I felt needed work. He then worked out a plan for each tree and told me exactly how he was going to proceed. The treemen did superb work, often from heights of 60 feet or more. They took care not to let any falling limbs or branches damage my house or any of the yard's landscape. Just as important, they took care of themselves. The men were careful to use their safety gear and didn't risk injury rushing to get the work done (as a side note, price of work was by the job and not by the hour). Cleanup was meticulous, with an efficient and powerful wood chipper significantly helping this part of the job. The work was superb and the price was fair. Regarding costs, the crew chief saved me money through his analysis of a particular tree I thought needed work. His conclusion was that no work was necessary now. There are several tree service companies in Northern Virginia. All American Lawn and Tree Service is certainly among the best.

After receiving a business card from a friend of mine for All American Lawn & Tree, I called them up to provide me with an estimate to remove two trees and prune all of the trees in my yard. The same day, Brett Dodson, one of the owner's, showed up and did a walk through of the property. Brett is a very professional and courteous individual when it comes to speaking with individuals who aren't necessarily diverse in the tree business (like me). Brett explained the proposed scope of work and provided me with level of comfort that his guys were the right folks to do the job. The following day, Brett provided me with an in depth scope of work along with a detailed cost proposal outlining the costs associated with each task. I approved and signed the proposal with All American Lawn & Tree the following day after reviewing other competitor proposals with in my area. Not only was the cost considerably less with All American, but the level of comfort I had with them was much higher, considering the dangers associated with taking down a leaning tree that was towards my house. I scheduled the work to begin the following week, as I was leaving town for the rest of the week. All American showed up promptly at 8 AM as promised with a clean crew, clean trucks and an industrial size wood chipper. The team lead, who is also an arborist I believe, walked the property and discussed any comments and concerns that I had. I pointed out the trees in need of cutting back and the trees that needed to be removed. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the business and also provided some recommendations as well. One of the most impressive things I have ever seen was the artwork that these gentlemen possessed when it comes to removing a tree. Their ability to make my very thick and crowded back yard into an evenly viewed tree paradise was very remarkable. Another impressive aspect about this firm was their quality of work. The efforts of the individual to make the job look exactly as promised along with going above and beyond was also very commendable. Also, the crew was very clean in picking up any and every branch in the yard (even if it wasn't one that they knocked down) along with blowing all the excess leaves away. Finally, before they left the project, they ensured that the project was completed to my satisfaction along with asking if there was anything else that I would like completed. All in all, All American is one of the best contractors I have personally worked with in the residential world. This team of professionals is very committed to quality and project success. I would highly recommend anyone to use All American for their tree or lawn service needs. On a side note, I asked them to cut up the two large trees so that I could split them for firewood. This was not in their scope of work, but they did it anyways. Very much appreciated.

All work was completed on time and within the estimate I was provided. I was very pleased with the results of the stump removal and tree trimming. I found the folks performing the work to be knowledgeable and courteous. They took their time in explaining what needed to be done in both the stump removal and pruning. All debris was collected and removed as promised. I will definetly call them again when I need this type of work done.

I received several estimates and decided to go with All American. Not only did they complete this quickly and efficiently,the team that came out were professional, knowledgeable and pleasant. I was extremely pleased with everything from price to cleanup. Will definitely use them again.
