Description of Work: It went great - they had a cancellation, put us in, and took care of the tree before we knew they had even been there! Trimmed it way back as requested, off the windows and cut off dying limbs. Cleaned it all up. Would recommend and use them again.

Description of Work: Pruned large trees in front yard which opened up so more light came through and removed branches that were a danger to driveway and sidewalk. Also trimmed a crepe myrtle and small maple tree in rear. All areas were cleaned up and hauled away. The only complaint I would have is that the communication of when the work was to be completed was not readily provided. The date was set a few weeks in advance but the actual timing of when it would occur so I could be home was not shared. Work completed without incident and I am pleased with the result.

Description of Work: I purchased $300 worth of work for $150. A representative of the company came out to discuss what needed to be done. I knew it would be more than $300 worth of work. I received an estimate that indicated the work would be $1000 with a $100 discount. I contacted them and explained that I had purchased a "Deal" from Angie's List. The person I spoke with sounded annoyed that I wanted to get $300 worth of work discounted from the estimate. We did settle the matter finally. I had to pay an additional $700 for all the work I wanted done which was very reasonable. The crew did an excellent job and completely cleaned up all debris when they were finished. I would use them again.

Description of Work: Absolute Tree delivered a cord of seasoned white and red oak firewood. The price was competitive, the delivery was on-time, and the firewood was as promised with quality pieces and quantity. Price did not include stacking which was agreed to upfront. No issues and would use again.

Description of Work: I called to have an estimate for tree removal at our home. The woman who answered was extremely nice and said that someone would come provide an estimate the next day and that no one needed to be home. She said that an estimate would be emailed shortly after the estimate. Fast forward to a week later and I have heard nothing further, even after calling back 4 days after the original conversation to see if an estimate had been completed. This is disappointing given all of the positive reviews.

Description of Work: From start to finish, Absolute Tree Service was up front and told me what to expect. There were no hidden surprises and the job was done exactly as I had requested. I will definitely be using them again and will refer my neighbors to them as well. This was a very good experience and A-1 is an awesome company.

Description of Work: Poor communication between office/owner. Two lengthy phone calls to the office, multiple email exchanges since initial inquiry on 9/22. Received inaccurate estimate for services requested. Provider would not commit to a day/time to provide service.

Description of Work: called to set up an appointment in advance no one showed up or followed up after missing the appointment. I called again figuring perhaps there was a miscomunication, set up a secound appointment never showed up again nor ever followed up

Description of Work: The proposal was for $1,400, which is LOT more than we anticipated for this type of work. We will need more proposals before moving forward.

Description of Work: Removed two large broken limbs along with a total thinning of a 65+' maple tree. Excellent two man crew that arrived with a cherry picker bucket/crane and wood chipper. I called on a Thurs and by my request, they came the very next day since this property was my rental and I was coming in from out of town. Pleasantly surprised at their quick response and willingness to accomodate me. i will definitely use them again when I need future work to remove some trees in my backyard. Four Stars guys -- you were excellent all around.

Description of Work: Trimmed tree based on photo request. Did the work so well didn't realize they were there. Clean up was something that I've never experienced with a contractor before (flawless!!). Definitely calling again in two years, price plus value unmatched.

Description of Work: Requested estimate for removal of 2 large oaks, grinding of stumps, and removal of all debris from tree that had snapped in storm and took down limbs and branches of adjacent trees. I was told I would get estimate in email as well as copies of license and insurance. Never received an estimate or phone call regarding this job. We dealt with the owners of this company. Because they did not respond I immediately had the work done by Ross tree service.

Description of Work: We had made an appointment with them for four trees; one could be saved and the other three were scheduled to be removed. But then a severe storm came through and blew down two trees; root balls were exposed. One fell across our backyard and damaged a fence and the other was hung up in another tree but aimed at our family room. (One good wind and we would get that dream family room.) But given that there downed trees and damaged homes across the county, they came as quickly as they could. They even worked with our insurance company. A very good experience considering the stress of the event.
