I've had plenty of experience. They respond quickly and they are very reasonably priced. They took care of the job like they said they were going to do. Clients of mine use them a few times a year. They've done work between $1,000-$5,000. They have done lots of things.

AAA did a great job. They had a fair price, we didn't have to schedule the job over 6 weeks out like a lot of the other companies. They were available within a couple of weeks. They showed up when they said they would and did a great job.

No services rendered since they only deliver a full cord to DC.

Greg quoted us a price to take down two trees and grind out two stumps. His price was very competitive. He had to wait several weeks to do the work because of the large amount of snow this winter. He suggested that we wait until the yard dried out to minimize damage. I really apprecaited that. He then honored his original price quote, even though his original price was based on the work being done during the slow season. Greg's crew showed up and did the work as requested. In addition to taking down two trees, he also trimmed a large tree in the front yard. Originally I thought they didn't do a sufficient job with trimming, but then he explained the different levels of trimming that can be done and that he had quoted a price for one level of trimming and the branches I wanted trimmed would be done under a different level. The bottom line is that he had his crew come out and do the additional trimming to make sure I was a satisfied customer.

The team arrived and got right to work bringing down the tree while on worker started grinding the stumps. While the tree was, being cut down the remaining workers moved branches out to the street to be shredded. With in just a few hours they were all done and cleaned up after themselves very nicely. The crew that was there was very professional and had no problems fulfilling my request as to how I wanted them to proceed with their task.

The owner is very conscientious. He was able to work around my schedule. He chopped the legs out from everyone out of 9 bids, NO ONE CAME CLOSE to this price and today -PRICE IS EVERYTHING!! The crew arrived first thing as arranged. They arrived in uniforms and were very well organized. They got to work immediately and performed the work as contracted. They were sooo careful, but I would be too if the owner of the house was hovering over you like i was, HAHAHAHAHA!!! They are a great bunch of guys who looked out for one another. I like to see that! They also spoke highly of the owner of the company which was another very positive thing about this company. The job foreman had an easy job because this crew has their s*** wired really tight!!! And the job shows. They finished this job in under an hour and a half and cleaned up completely. I was satisfied to the extent that I tipped the 6 man crew, and i usually HATE anyone who come to my house to do anything.... Don't always believe the bad reports but look closer at the positive feedback for a company and look very hard at this company if you want the job done right.....I am very picky.

I would not recommend them again. The estimator came. That part went fine. I thought we had a clear idea of what was going to happen. They were going to trim four trees, and then take down two trees in the front. The quote was fine, so I agreed to have them come and do the work. When they came they started cutting down huge limbs off the tree, and our understanding was they were just going to be 1/4 in diameter. We had the foreman came out, and his response was "I'm so sorry!" I called the office and asked for the estimator to explain what we had agreed upon more clearly. In the meantime I asked them to stop working until he talked to them. The owner then called me back yelling and screaming. He said that he trained them, and they are doing what they were asked to do. He told me that he couldn't believe that my husband would have married me. He said that I had some real problems. I just wanted clarification so that the other trees didn't end up like the first one. The estimator came out and looked, and agreed that they did more than we agreed upon. He said they were getting the trees hurricane ready, but in northern Virginia we don't have to get ready for hurricanes. They did a fine job taking the trees out of the front. The real problem was the tree trimming, and the owner's response to the situation. They then wanted payment in full, but they hadn't did the grinding of the stump and roots and left a big mess out front. I told them I wasn't going to pay them until that was completed. They told me to give the check to the stump grinder. The stump grinder came without getting the lines marked, and they hit the cable line. The owner said I was lying, and he couldn't believe that I would blame the television outage on them. I told them I wasn't going to pay them until they fixed the cable line. The cable company wouldn't deal with them, so it took a lot of time and money to get that fixed.

Big problem was that they delivered fresh cut wood that is unburnable right now when we need it!!!

I called and left a message a couple days before and someone got right back to me. I arranged for the delivery the following Friday. January 7 was a snowy day but the truck showed up at exactly 8:30. The driver backed carefully into my yard as I requested and dumped to wood as close as possible to my wood pile. The wood was nicely split hardwood and I got a very generous cord of wood (based on my calculations after it was stacked). The driver and his helper were friendly and did a good job. AAA only accepts cash-- no checks or credit cards and had informed me of that when I ordered the wood. The wood burns nicely and I'm very satisfied. I would definitely order from them again.

After calling a few companies, AAA's price was best for a cord of firewood. The delivery was on time and the wood was a full cord of black walnut, red oak, maple, poplar, and hickory. The wood was in usable lengths for our fireplace and seasoned for several months.

AAA Tree Service was easy to get a hold of on a weekend day. Price was competitive. They were flexible with respect to delivery options, called a day before to confirm time and actually delivered earlier than expected.

I called AAA to request an estimate to for tree topping and shaping. I was told that I am outside of their area, that "they don't go that far out." AAA is located in Alexandria, VA. I live in Temple Hills, MD. According to mapquest AAA is about ten miles from my house, the closest tree service on Angie's list. When I questioned what their area is, the representative hung up on me. I don't understand how a company can be rated an A on Angie's list with this lack of responsiveness.

I was very happy with their price. They were responsive, worked quickly and did a great job. I would recommend them to anybody.

Wood was dumped in the alley behind my house (as expected). The wood was seasoned. The cost was $70 below another estimate from another company.

This was the first tree service we contacted because they had left information on our door and they were local. The sales representative was OK and he did bring the insurance certificate the next day after we asked to see it. He also said they were in the area on Friday and would like to do the job then. However, the price was high and he also recommended that we take out another tree. I decided to get more quotes and that is when I decided to contact Angie's list. Glad I did - found two more companies, both excellent, and we will be using one of them which I will report on when the work is done.

ALTHOUGH MOST OF THE WORK WAS DONE TO OUR SATISFACTION, WE DISCOVERED LATER THAT THEY HAD NOT COMPLETELY REMOVED THE STUMP. THEY HAD ONLY REMOVED TO JUST BELOW SURFACE LEVEL. WE SPENT SEVERAL HOURS DIGGING OUT THE REST OF IT.
