Organic House Cleaning Services

The woman who cleaned my townhome for Organic House Cleaning Services broke a piece of the ceramic slab in front of the fireplace in the first-floor family room with her vacuum cleaner. Unfortunately, I paid her company before I noticed the damage that she had caused. Fortunately, I did contact my bank in enough time, and I was successfully able to withhold payment of the check. (The woman also placed the sharp edge of a rocking chair up against a wall, leaving a small impression in the wall. It was quite fortunate that the chair did not actually puncture the wall.) I called Organic House Cleaning Services and set up an appointment for the owner/manager to view the damage. The owner/manager, however, did not keep the appointment. When I called to inquire why the company did not keep the appointment, the owner/manager promised that they would come out to look at the damaged slab. They, again, did not keep that appointment, and then did not respond to subsequent voice mails left on their answering machines to return my calls. Their business cards state that they are insured in addition to being licensed, however, they basically have refused to come out and look at the damage and make any restitution. They apparently do not list a street address. Otherwise, I would very much like to report them to the Better Business Bureau. Be forewarned about Organic House Cleaning Services and their apparent lack of willingness to handle damage claims. I had used them previously, and had paid them quite well, but that obviously did not confer any benefit when there was an issue.

Very horrible experience. They could not find the house, they were an hour late and then on top of all that they were not good at cleaning my house the hard wood floors looked horrible as well as the bathroom and bedrooms. The company rarely answers the phone. I finally spoke to someone after several calls and I made an appointment for July 6th and they never showed up, so I called to find out why and that is when they ask if I could come and pick them up from the main road near my house, no big deal I did it. After a few minutes I see them and they follow me to my house. Then while cleaning they broke candle holders in my master bathroom worth $20 each. I called the company they said they will take it off my next service. The cleaning overall was poor there were a few dead spiders in my basement that they did not get as well as a horrible job on my hardwood floors, she used a bleached cloth to wipe up areas on the hardwood throughout my home. The floors looked terrible. They did an awful job making the beds and forgot to empty the trash in the kids bathrooms. My stainless steal appliances all looked great after they used Weiman's on them but overall I wouldn't let them come back for a second cleaning, so I lost my $40. It's worth it to lose $40 rather than see them come to my home again!!!!!!
