Description of Work: The service was peformed before 2012 . It was around 2005. I wasn't around to see them do it, as my kids were living here at the time. To put it mildly, I was shocked at what they did and how they did it. There were cigarette butts around the five receptacles they had installed. I noticed that they were loose and had to go over all of them. Some of them had not been attached to the walls with anything. I have had a professional go over everything they did including the breaker box they installed. They obviously knew I was away and would be for a while, so their work was absolutely unprofessional.

I apologize for your experience. We are located in Central Virginia and have only worked in this area - never in South Carolina. We are a small company and have not had any employees who were smokers in the past 12 years. I believe this review is for a different company, but we do apologize for the unprofessional experience you dealt with.

I was initially concerned because my deadline was approaching (had company coming and wanted a cooler room for them) and Gary had not responded with a time to come look at the project. But once this was set he was wonderful to work with. He arrived early for the estimate and was very professional. He clearly knows his stuff. The day of the work he arrived as promised with 2 men who quickly went to work. They were courteous, considerate and competent. The job came in under estimate and they left my house spotless. I will definitely use him again for any electrical work we require and would highly recommend him.
Description of Work: Installed a ceiling fan in a guest bedroom w/ a peaked ceiling requiring access through an unfinished attic.

It went well, Gary Shanks is a conscientious electrician and a pleasant guy. Prior to the residential work in this report I worked with Gary and Electrical Innovations on a professional project. He was subcontracted to wire a complex industrial conveyor system after my company installed it. From that experience I knew he is competent, thorough and takes the time to define the problem.
Description of Work: Repaired wires in attic damaged by squirrels. He brought one helper, and they rewired some difficult to reach spaces.

Went very well. Easy to work with.
Description of Work: Did all the electrical service and wiring in a large 2 story barn. Same price as one guy and half the price of another guy (crook!). Did great work, showed up on time, very helpful. Really nice dependable guy.
