+ -1 moreAbsolutely no complaints whatsoever. They are easy to work with and make every attempt to help you however they can. Their prices seem to be very reasonable. Very knowledgeable. The plumbing work was excellent.
Description of Work: Installed water purification equipment on our new well. Did some water testing also. Did plumbing work to get well water into house. Our water had lots of clay in it and some iron. Also had every nasty bacteria that you can test for. We needed a lot to get the water safe to drink.

+ -1 moreThey honored the contract and took the unit back but only because there credit card machine messed up and they didn't get payment. The owner did not talk to me in a respectful way.
Description of Work: Underestimated the cost to run the system and how it would effect the water. It was too much work to continue to fill with salt every few days and the bags are heavy.

Description of Work: I have been a customer of Steve Collins and his son Brian for over 10 years. They are dedicated and very knowledgeable of the water business. They are in this for the long haul and try to save you money. The last call Steve finally sent Brian out because he was not able to fix my pro9blem over the phone. I thought they would have to replace the beads in the softener but to my amazement Brian solved my problem in 2 minutes, without any parts. I had a plumber to replace a leaky faucet and he left the by-pass valve open. Brian could have sold me $150 of parts and more in time if he was of a mind to. This is one of many things they have done to keep me as a loyal customer. Don Ratliff

+ -1 moreAfter 3 years I called them to service the unit. They answered my call in person, were here the next day to service the softener and charged $45 service fee all the way from VA!! Not only that, I found out that had I thought to call them for my UV light, I could have saved $400 over the local vendor I used. Needless-to-say I'm getting my replacement bulbs from them which are 1/2 the price of the local contractor!
Description of Work: After purchasing my home, I realized that the water softener was not working correctly. Unfortunately, it needed replacement. I researched water softeners and found that the Hague softener was the best performing and guaranteed unit and Collins, a company in VA was the closest installer. It is a family run business, father and son. They were prompt, professional, friendly and took time to explain the unit.
